Chapter 3: Platform Show
Over the next three and a half week Ginny spent almost every waking moment with Draco, usually under the assumption to her family that she was seeing Hermione or Luna mostly or one of her other school mates now that she had passed her apparition exam. Luna had found out about the secret relationship a few days after Hermione and who to everyone who mattered surprise seem to take the news easily and as if she had expected it to happen.
On the morning of September first Ginny who was usually the last to be ready was not only the first one up, even before her mother, but she was already dragging her things out to the car before Ron had finished half his plate no small task in anyone’s opinion. This had surprised her whole family but really pleased her mother, however her mother was not aware that the reason Ginny was so impatient to be at the station was that she wanted to be near Draco again they had been apart nearly a week as they had agreed no matter how reluctantly on both sides that it was best to spend the last few days of their holidays with their families and Ginny was going crazy starved to see her beloved Draco again.
Hermione and Luna had already told the boys that they wanted a few hours to themselves to talk about “girl things” this was the most sure fire way to keep the boys away nothing scared them more then “girl talk”, so there was little debate with that. Once at the station and through the barrier she easily found Draco who was standing with Pansy, at one point Ginny may have been jealous of this however now she was not, she and Draco had long ago discussed his and Pansy’s relationship which was that of best friends even brother and sister. Though it was true his father wanted him to marry Pansy and her own father as well. She noticed that Draco wore a new silk shirt that seem to shimmer on him and molded to his muscular frame, she also took note of the tight black jeans he was wearing, and tried to not stare the other girls from her house and year would kill her if they caught her staring at Draco or as they like to call him “The Slytherin Pig” with such longing, but damn him for looking so amazingly sexy today. She took a deep breath then walking as close as she dared and at the precise moment she was right next to Draco someone pushed her into him there hands touched briefly before both pulled away looking thoroughly ill and disgusted with each other as Draco spat
“Watch it Weaslette, I don’t need your filth on my silk and veela hair shirt”
Ginny tried not to grin so that’s why the shirt seem to shimmer, in response she gave him an exasperated sigh as she rolled her eyes saying
“Oh, for the love of Merlin ferret who died and left you king”
His eye smoldered with amusement, and was just about to make another retort when Luna and Hermione swept by looks of hate and loathing on their faces though their eyes danced in amusement since Draco had now become their trusted friend now
Once the girls were on the train they found the absolute furthest compartment from the boys, and were laughing uproariously about the scene on the platform. When they heard a knock on the compartment door; Hermione stood to check who it was since the blind on the window was down, seeing it was Draco she open the door so he could enter, saying as he did
“First let me congratulate you on a performance well done on the platform I almost hated you again…”
She laughed softly then looked seriously at him for a moment saying
“Second I think I got you and Ginny maybe three hours of alone time but not a minute more”
Draco smiled at her
“Thank you so much Hermione”
Hermione smiled back at him
“You’re welcome, Draco it’s really the least I could do because since the two of you started going out I’ve see an amazing change in Ginny, she hasn’t been this happy in a very long time.”
“Now have a good time you guys we’ll be back in a few hours”
Hermione added as she and Luna left the compartment. Once the door had slid closed Luna and Hermione both took out there wands performing every protection spell they knew so that Ginny and Draco would be left absolutely alone for the next three hours.
