Drunk Kisses

November 5
"Hey, mate," Ron whispered beside Harry, sitting down. They were in the library today and had to stay quiet or else risk being thrown out. "I think I figured out a way to get Blaise's attention."
His friend looked at him, dark eyebrows raised. "Really? How?"
Ron looked nervous and his hands slightly shook as he fiddled with his shirt. "Well, erm...I was thinking..."
"What, Ron?"
"Well, maybe I could send him, I dunno...a letter...?"
Harry stopped writing his Transfiguration essay and glanced at his friend. "A letter? What kind of letter?" He paused. "Like... a love letter? Are you finally going to tell him?"
"Oh, no," Ron breathed, shaking his head. "It will be a love letter, but from a secret admirer," he said slyly. "That way, if Blaise rejects me, it won't be me that he's rejecting."
Harry looked at him as if he had grown three heads. "If you mean to tell me that that logic of yours actually makes sense..."
Ron rolled his eyes. "Listen, keep up, mate. I send a letter to Blaise, telling him that I've fallen in love with him, that I can't stand the thought of anyone else touching him." Ron's blue eyes became tender. "I'll write that I've watched him when he's hurt, how his eyes become soft just for a second before he hardens them and returns to his normal haughty self. I'll tell him of how I've seen the blazing color of his chocolate eyes when he's furious and how the deep color makes all the blood rush from my head... When he's upset, I'll tell him of how he twirls that one strand of hair just below his neck, and how he swipes his hand down his face when he's irritated. How he sniffs his pumpkin juice before briefly taking his first sip... How he tilts his chair ever so slightly before sitting down in Potions class... How he chews on his pen while he's thinking, and then quickly stops as if someone might catch him and tell his Slytherin friends... When he gets his letters from his mum in the mornings, his face beams for a short moment...such a heavenly moment... How he quickly becomes angry when he's nervous and doesn't know what to say..."
Ron sighed. "I have it bad, don't I?" he asked, his voice still in that soft manner. Harry gulped, but chose not to say anything. "I'll tell him of how I can't stop thinking about him, too. And then..." Ron paused, his voice breaking a bit. "Th-Then I send it, without signing my name. Therefore, when he gets the letter at breakfast, I'll watch his face. If he really is with Malfoy or if he's just plain disgusted, he'll throw it away or burn the letter. See? It's a brilliant plan. He'll never know it was from me."
The black haired boy looked at Ron, frowning deeply. "But, Ron... won't you get hurt if he does reject the letter?"
Ron looked unfazed. "Yeah, of course I will. But I'll get over it." Harry seriously doubted that, but again said nothing. He knew Ron was deeply in love with Blaise, even before Ron's little speech about Blaise's habits. Hell, his friend might know the Slytherin better than Zabini knew himself. A whole two months of following and watching him could do that.
"Ok, mate," Harry said hesitantly, fearing for his friend's heart. "If you're sure..."
"Don't worry, Harry. I'll be alright." Then he left Harry.
The boy sighed. Ron was making a big mistake. He knew it. Since that night of the party, he knew how sensitive Ron really was. And a sensitive Ron that got hurt meant trouble.

"I-I thin'... I thin' I'mma bit drunkie, mate..." Ron slurred, his head lolling and his hands clinging for dear life onto Harry's chest. "I thin'...I... I'm...I'm...uh...who am I...?"
Harry rolled his eyes, silently thanking Merlin that he had decided to stop drinking early. Who knew that Hufflepuffs could throw a party like that? he thought dryly. Worse, who knew they could move like that?
"Uh, hey. Hey! I...I know where we are..." Ron mumbled. "We...we at the...th-the cozy 'oom, eh 'arry?"
The cozy room?
"The common room, you mean?"
Ron glassy eyes widened. "Huh? Uh, oh yeah! Me forgot, hee hee..." Then he promptly passed out.
Harry groaned as the body in his arms slumped. "Stupid Zabini," Harry grumbled, dragging Ron's body towards the nearest sofa. "Stupid ass Malfoy."
Harry remembered halfway through the party when the Slytherin trio had showed up in the Hufflepuff common room. Hermione was off dancing with Jacob while Ron and Harry sat on a couch, drinking away at some spiked punch. Honestly, why were they even here? they both wondered. Oh yeah, Jacob had invited Hermione, who had invited them along.
Damn her...
When Malfoy and Zabini appeared, they instantly went over to the punch bowl. Pansy took off with some other Slytherin boy to go dance. Harry knew Ron was watching Blaise, and tried to warn him. "Mate, you're staring again."
Ron quickly looked away. "Er, thanks mate. Wouldn't...hehe... wouldn't want to be caught again." Harry chuckled as Ron blushed scarlet.
An hour or so passed and nothing had really changed for Ron or Harry. Harry decided to stop drinking once he felt a bit woozy. Ron, on the other hand, continued to chug down more of the spiked punch. His vision was beginning to blur, but he didn't care. The sooner he got drunk, the sooner he'd feel better.
And then Malfoy and Zabini left. Of course, Ron was the first to notice and he hurriedly got to his unsteady feet. "Ron, mate, what's wrong?" Harry asked, taking his arm when Ron swayed dangerously.
"Blaise..." was all he said before quickly stepping away to follow the boys. Harry knew this was a bad idea, to be spying on the two boys, but he followed the red head anyway. They left the common room and entered the empty hallways, their eyes scanning for the Slytherins. No one was around, so they decided to walk a bit and check a few abandoned classrooms. It was a long while before they had any sort of clue to where the boys were. But just like last time, sudden noises alerted them to where the boys were located. Ron followed the sounds, and Harry followed him.
Then the boys stopped at a familiar doorway. The entrance to the Room of Requirement.
Harry shuddered as he thought of what the boys could be doing in there, and he definitely didn't want to find out. But Ron apparently did. In his drunken state, Ron forgot all rules and instincts and opened the door to the room to rush inside.
"No, Ron...!" he tried to say quietly and tried to grab the boy, but it was too late. He went inside and gasped. Ron stood, frozen, with Harry right behind him as they watched the scene unfold before them.
"Harder, Draco...!" Zabini screamed, pushing his naked hips farther up into the air with Draco's cock thrusting inside him. "Harder!"
"Fuck!" Draco groaned, grabbing the boy's hips to hold steady as he pounded faster into the boy. "Fuck yes! J-Just like that, Blaise. Oh...! Oh Merlin!" The boys thrashed in mad heat as they clung to one another, the sound of wet skin slapping against wet skin echoing in the room. And then... "Oh FUCK!"
"Oh Gods! Fuck, I love you!" Blaise shouted, clinging onto Draco's back as he came.
Harry couldn't stand it any longer. He grabbed Ron's arm and tugged him backwards, ignoring the loud cry from the boy as they ran out of the doorway. Harry didn't know where to go but he just blindly ran, his only goal being to get Ron the hell away from that room. He could hear the boy's sobs as they weaved in and out of the hallways and tried to run faster. But then he felt his arm being pushed away and he skidded to a halt. "Ron?" he managed to just get out before the red head rapidly took off into a different hallway.
Harry groaned and charged after him. He lost sight of him a couple of times but finally he caught up with him inside the Hufflepuff's common room. Ron was on the couch they had been on earlier, but this time he was drinking more punch, and drinking much faster. He was practically drowning himself in alcohol. "Stop it, Ron," Harry said, taking the bottle currently in Ron's head and throwing it away. "Come on." And he picked up Ron by the waist and promptly dragged him outside into the hallways.
Where they ended up now...
"'arry?" a soft voice beside him whispered. Harry glanced down to see Ron sit up slowly, his face a bit pale and his eyes a bit glassy. "Harry...?"
"I'm here, Ron," Harry said as he wrapped an arm around his friend. "I'm right here."
Ron shuddered before he dug his face into Harry's neck. The position was a bit awkward, but Harry didn't mind. "Mate?"
"Hmmhmm...?"
"You doing ok?"
Ron snuggled farther into Harry's arms before looking up, his eyes meeting Harry's and holding. Ron softly breathed. "Perfect," he purred, his eyelids drooping a bit. But his eyes never left Harry's.
The brunette frowned. "Ron...? What--?"
"You're sooo warm, 'arry..." Ron moaned, grabbing on tight to Harry's shirt. "You're so warm 'n I'm cold. Make me warm, Harry?" His hot breath ghosted over the boy's cheek, and Harry shivered...but not from the cold. His eyelids felt heavy suddenly as his eyes gazed into Ron's, and he unexpectedly grew hot.
"R-Ron..."
"Make'm warm, 'arry. Blaise don't love me, 'n he never will. He likes Malfoy, not me. Please, 'arry? Make'm warm." His lips parted as Ron's drunken figure climbed onto Harry's lap and the smell of alcohol filled Harry's nostrils. But he didn't care. Ron looked so heartbreaking, it hurt Harry. He pulled Ron closer.
"What do you want me to do, Ron?" he softly.
His friend looked at him, his blue, glassy eyes now wavering. They glistened with warm wetness. "I...I want warmth, 'arry. I need...need to forget..." His lips parted and soon pressed against Harry's.
Harry sat, stunned, as Ron kissed him. He couldn't think, and his nerves seemed to be in shock as well. What was Ron doing? He... He wasn't gay..., was he? But Ron's lips were soft...
Then Ron pressed the tip of his tongue to Harry's, and he gasped. God, that felt nice...
"Ron," he sighed, his body relaxing against the drunken boy's. They're arms simultaneously wrapped around each other and held their bodies close. "You don't like me, do you? Not in the same way you like Zabini." Ron whimpered in pain as his name was uttered. "But you want to forget, don't you? You need help in forgetting about him."
"Yes, Harry," Ron cried, clenching his eyes tight as the tears ran down his face. "I'll never be able to have him. He loves Malfoy, not me." He let out a loud sob, his frail body shaking. "N-Not me..."
Harry's heart ached for his friend, and he held up a hand to raise Ron's chin towards him. He gazed into the boy's teary blue orbs and almost lost himself. "Then," Harry whispered, his lips brushing against Ron's. "Let me help you forget." And he kissed him again.

Flamesky---Yeah, I'm trying not to make Ron and Harry too different, but they have to be for the first few chapters. Right now, you'll see them all weepy and crying, but that stage will pass soon. Then you'll be able to see the real Harry and Ron. Next chapter will have more with Draco and Blaise, I promise. I'll even include their POV and actually start getting into the story. But I'm glad you caught on quick on the storyline. Hope the flash backs aren't too bad. : )
hieisdragoness18---yeah, Harry does get abused a lot, and I've always kinda hated that. But at least in this story, it's not just him who is getting hurt. And I hope in this story, you'll see how his incident with his family actually makes him a bit stronger. In the heart, I mean. Glad you think this is interesting, hope you like the rest.
~~
I hope this chapter cleared up a few things. If not, I'll try to explain in the next chapter. I hope the flash backs aren't too bad and don't get anyone confused. Please tell me if they are.
Next chapter will finally include Draco and Blaise's POV, as well as the scene of the letter. Hope you liked this chapter. Please review, and flames are welcome as long as they don't burn too much. : )
