The Potter household was busy as it usually was. The adults were busy in the kitchen talking and the kids were sitting in the living room watching tv.
Albus and Lily had gotten about monopoly and were getting ready to play.
"James?" Lily asked looking up at him. "Do you want to play?"
"No thanks," he said shaking his head. "I'm going to go up to my room."
Albus and Lily just nodded and turned their attention back to their game as their brother disappeared upstairs.
Sam arrived shortly from returned his house to get the comic. He was looking around for James. He wanted to have a word with the boy.
"Where is James?" he asked handing Albus the comic.
"In his room," he explained taking the comic. "Do you want to play?"
"Yea," he said nodding. "I just got to talk to James first. You guys start without me. I'll go last. I won't long."
The two siblings just nodded as Sam disappeared upstairs. He was going to have a nice talk with his friend.
He didn't bother to knock when he reached Jame's room. The boy in question was sitting on his bed reading. He looked up with a surprised look on his face.
"Do you need something Sam?" he questioned.
"I need to talk to you," he said closing the door.
James closed his book and was about ready to ask him what he wanted to talk about when he was pinned against the wall.
The older boy had a shocked look on his face. Sam's eyes were full of rage and he was holding onto James tightly.
"What's wrong?" James asked.
"You know what is wrong," he growled. "I know about you and my sister."
The color drained from his face. He was scared that Sam knew what he had done.
"I know you did something to her last night," he explained tightening his grip on James. "I know you hurt her. I can feel it when I look at her. Tell me what you did!"
"I didn't do anything she didn't want," James said smirking.
James knew he was pushing Sam to the edge. Sam was shaking badly.
"Tell me," he demanded. "Tell me or I'll tell my parents about you two."
That put fear in James' heart. He knew he would tell. Sam was a man of his word. If Serenity's parents found out they would kill him. Her father scared him.
"Tell me," he demanded again. "This is your last chance."
"No," he said. "You won't tell. I'll kick your ass if you do."
Sam let go of James and he fell to the bed. They both knew he would tell. Sam didn't know why James was messing with him.
"My dad is going to kill you when I tell him you've been seeing Serneity," Sam said stepping away.
"She'll get in trouble too," he explained. "They'll kill her when they find out she had been lying to them."
Sam hadn't thought of that. If he opened his mouth he would get James in trouble but he would also get his sister in trouble.
"Get out," James snapped. "Get out of my room. You're not going to tell anyone."
Sam didn't say another word as he booked it from the bedroom.

Severus Snape had no clue was going on. After his family had gone home his son had fallen strangely silent. It wasn't like Sam to be quiet. He was always talking about something.
When it came time for dinner he and his sister wouldn't even look at each other. That wasn't like them. They never argued.
He could tell his wife knew something was wrong but no one said anything about it. He didn't bring it up to his wife until they were lying in bed getting ready for bed.
"Something is wrong with the children," he said looking at Hermione.
"I know," she said not looking up from the book she was reading. "They're hidding something."
"What do you think it is?" he questioned.
"I don't know," she said closing her book. "I just know it's serious. The kids aren't being normal at all."
"Maybe we should talk to them," Severus said with a sigh. "It's been a long time since we all sat down as a family and talked."
"I have a feeling that won't work," she said shaking her head as she put her book on the bedside table. "I think we are just going to have to wait this one out. We aren't going to figure out anything tonight. We should just get some sleep baby."
"I guess you're right," he said letting out a yawn. "I guess we'll try talking to them if it goes on too long."
He gave his wife a kiss before falling asleep.
