Chapter 3

Pansy woke the next morning naked under the covers. She smiled as she recalled the night before and reached an arm behind her. Nothing. She rolled onto her back and still found nothing.

“Looking for someone?” She looked up and found Ron over at the table, dressed and fastening a letter to his owl. The bird was off in mere moments. He smiled as he walked over to her with her jeans and sweater from the night before. “You can take a shower if you’d like. There is time. I will have some breakfast sent up.”

She smiled and got up. “Yes I’m hungry.” He gave her a kiss and a light smack on her bum.

After a quick shower she joined Ron at the table and as they ate, Ron went threw some letters his owl had delivered.

“My solicitor has begun the process of buying the house. It sits next to a small wizarding village. It will be available in a day or two. I’ll take you there myself when it’s ready.” She nodded. “Leeky?” He called out.

A house elf appeared beside him. “Yes master?”

“Leeky, this is my mistress, Pansy.” The elf looked at Pansy.”

“Hello miss.”

“Hello Leeky, I’m pleased to meet you.”

“She is your mistress now as well. When I buy her a home, I want you to stay with her and take care of her. She is very special to me.” Ron reached out and held her hand.

“Yes sir, Leeky will take care of masters secret.” Pansy smiled. The elf took her job seriously. They were care takers and secret keepers. No doubt the elf was overjoyed at being entrusted with a secret.

“Good. Can you fetch the bag for me please.” Leeky popped out. “She’ll live at the house when its purchased and you can get messages to me through her.” She nodded. Ron took out another parchment and continued speaking.

“I’ve opened an account for you at Gringotts. I will put money into it every month. You buy anything you need. Leeky can do your shopping for you if you like, she knows how. I’ll put extra money in the account when you move in, in case you want new furniture for the house or need new clothes. There will be plenty of money for you every month, but if you need extra for whatever reason, just let me know. I’ll give you anything you want.” She nodded and smiled.

“I know Ron, but I won’t need much. I appreciate what you are doping for me.”

He smiled. There was something in his smile that Pansy couldn’t quite identify but she said nothing. He reached out and took hold of the necklace, pointing his wand and whispered, “Portis.” The pendant on her chain glowed for a moment and then faded.

“It’s a porkley now. When you go to the meeting, it will be an escape for you. If things get out of hand, hold it and say my name, it will bring you here.”

She nodded. Leeky popped back in, holding a small bag. “Here is the bag master.”

“Thank you Leeky.” The elf popped out. “This is charmed with a spacing spell that Hermione used during our seventh year trip. You can fit as much as you need in here. You can pack anything you want and it will be safe in here.”

“Remarkable.” She took the sack and reached inside. Ron watched as her arm disappeared. She could not find a bottom. She laughed at the effect and closed up the bag. It would fit easily under her cloak. “This is brilliant Ron.”

Her expression turned grim. “It’s almost time.”

“I will be waiting her for you. The portkey will bring you back. Don’t be afraid to drop my name if you have to. I don’t care if they know.” She put her cloak on, making sure the bag was tucked securely under her elbow. It was undetectable. Ron kissed her cheek. She gave him a hug and disapparated.

She appeared outside the grounds of her families estate. She quietly shut the door but she was heard anyway. “You came back in time I see” Her mother spat out as her coming out of the parlor. She was dressed impeccably in fine robes.

“Hello mother.” She said.

“Go and change you look horrible.” She turned her back n her daughter and went back into the parlor. Pansy went up to her Ron.

The bag Ron had given her was a marvel to say the least. She practically emptied her whole closet into it. As well as several drawers. All her clothing went in first. The next was her personal items, and keepsakes from Hogwarts. Letters and pictures were next. The last thing to go in the bag were books. Pansy was a reader and while she usually read books from the school library her personal collection consisted mainly of girly romance novels. She had others as well, she enjoyed history and had several on nobility of pureblood families. But romance was her weakness. She smiled widely as she fit all her books in the bag. Tucked under her elbow again she out her cloak back on. The bag didn’t change in weight or size.

As she opened her door she heard her father speaking to another male. They were here. It was time.
