Chapter 3
Hermione knocked lightly on the door of Draco and Charlie’s flat. Draco’s father had been furious when he found out that Draco was gay and had a male lover, who was a Weasley, no less. Draco hadn’t been allowed in Malfoy Manor since then, and only when his father died and he claimed his inheritance would he be able to go back.
She didn’t care about his money, however. She hadn’t started this relationship because Draco was rich. She had started it because he was the only person who seemed to understand her. Well, that’s what she had thought, until Charlie joined into the mix as well. She knew there were now three people in the world that understood her—Draco, Charlie, and Jamie. She didn’t even think she understood herself more than they understood her.
The door opened almost before she was done knocking and she was met with two of the biggest smiles in the world. She would never get used to this—the full effect of these two men smiling at her every time they saw her. It was like they had only been shagging a week, not a whole five years. Every time was like the first, both of them eager to be with her and her only thinking about the next time she would see them.
Of course, it didn’t hurt that both of them were also incredibly eager to see their son as well. Though Charlie was the actual father of Jamie, both of them loved Jamie to pieces. They would do anything for him. Maybe that was why Jamie just knew instinctively that Ron was not his father; Ron tried to ignore Jamie whenever possible.
Just thinking of Ron brought back memories of the previous night and a dark look overtook her face. “What’s wrong?” Draco asked, pulling her and Jamie inside. Jamie was balanced on her hip and she passed the eager boy off to his real father as she walked inside.
“Ron came back last night.” It’s all she had to say for them to completely understand what she meant.
“Come on in the kitchen,” Draco said to Jamie. “We were just making breakfast.”
“Pancakes!?” Jamie asked with a big smile.
Charlie laughed, and ruffled his son’s hair. “Yeah, Uncle Draco’s famous pancakes.” He took Jamie into the kitchen.
“Do you want to sleep for a little bit before we leave?” Draco asked Hermione when the other two had gone into the kitchen.
She smiled gratefully at him. “Just an hour, I promise, then we’ll go. I’m just so exhausted.”
“I know,” Draco smiled and led her to the bedroom.
“Thank you so much, Draco. You’ll behave with Jamie, right?” she asked him.
He laughed and dragged her to him, being careful as there was sure to be bruises on her arms, to give her a kiss. “I always behave myself.”
“Ha,” she said, closing the door in his face.
She quickly went to the armoire where her sleeping clothes were and pulled off her jeans to put on some sweats. She slipped into the huge, comfortable bed that still smelled like Draco and Charlie and sighed happily as she fell asleep.

Harry floo-ed into the fireplace at Hermione and Ron’s house the next day. “Hermione?” he asked loudly. “Hermione, I’ve got great news!” he yelled. The house seemed empty. He thought perhaps she was sleeping and went upstairs to where her bedroom was.
He knocked on the door softly, and when he heard a mumbled groaning, he opened the door. Expecting to see Hermione curled up in bed with Jamie by her side, Harry was completely caught off guard when he saw Ron Weasley curled up in bed with a buxom blonde.
“Ron?” Harry asked loudly. The woman in bed next to him just rolled over and covered herself up. Ron looked up at Harry with disgust in his eyes.
“What do you want, Harry?” Ron asked.
Harry knew everything. He knew everything from that hard slap two hours after the ceremony that linked Hermione and Ron for life, to the way Charlie’s eyes lit up when he looked at his son. Harry knew everything that Ron was and he could not believe that he had ever called the man his friend. “I was looking for Hermione,” Harry said in a petulant voice, not liking talking to his former friend.
“She’s at the poof's with the spawn for the weekend,” Ron said and rolled back over to his whore.
“Thanks,” Harry said sarcastically and left Ron alone. Harry was so happy that today the piece of paper that would be the means to getting this man out of Hermione’s life for good was currently resting in Harry’s robe pocket.
A/N: I know, another short chapter. I promise that at some point they'll get longer. :) Please review, they make me happy, and happy people write chapters faster. ;)
