I am in serious need of a beta for this story, as you can see its still very raw and clunky, im most dissatisfied with the dialog in the second part. if any of you are willing to offer your services i will be forever in your debt, and will keep you supplied with all the virtual Honeydukes sweets you can stand.

Thank you for your suggestions, i wrote it this way because im not good with dialogs, but im trying very hard to find a beta.

Im glad you saw the humor in it, the scene was what made me write it out, i just got this image in my head and it begged me to write it out, course it was 3 in the morning and i wanted to sleep, but the muse refused to let me rest until i had at least made a rough draft.
In answer to your questions it will probably have Harry being friends with both Ron and Hermione, as well as Draco, my thoughts are that because he was raised by Severus he is close to Draco from an early age because of Draco and Sev's relationship, but im still on the fence whether or not he will be sorted to Griffindor or Slytherin, if he is sorted to Slytherin he will be around people he has probably grown up with and is comfortable with, but he wont be able to interact as much with the duo of Hermione and Ron. if hes in Griffindor though his relationship with Draco may suffer. as for the length it will probably be between 10 and 20 chapters, depending on where the muse takes me:)

Sirius is still Harry's godfather, the reason he couldn't take Harry on was because he was still wanted. im thinking of writing an explanations chapter that sort of recaps all thats happened to get them to this point.

You ask some very good questions and have very valid points, i will go into more detail once i get going, i will probably be adding a chapter that explains how the characters came to be where they are at the beginning of the story. so keep reading, i may surprise you:)

Harry hasn't had a happy childhood, but his abuse was never of a sexual nature, the Dursleys weren't monsters in this, just neglectful and cold towards Harry.
