Slytherin Departed
Draco lay on his bed crying pathetically, he had tried every spell he knew to get rid of his new green eyes.
But it was futile nothing worked! The words of Mrs. McGonagall flowed constantly through his mind; she had said that if his eyes where green then he was born with them as no one had cast an eye-colour changing spell. Draco moved sluggishly to his desk and tried to find his quill and parchment, cheeks tracked with dried tears, it was time to pen a letter to his father.
Dearest father,
I am writing to you to let you know I have recently discovered that my eyes are actually emerald green.
Do you have an explanation for this? Why was I wearing glamour?
If you know something I do not then I believe I am old enough to know of it.
Yours in Purity Draco.
Lucius sat in his study staring at the letter that his son had had written to him.
His Long White-blonde hair cascaded over his shoulders as he swirled a glass of his finest port in his hand.
He stared at a book on the shelf in front of him. A book that had been their for years but he couldn’t recall where it came from, a book that had the words, ‘Lucky’ etched in gold on its Emerald green leather spine.
An Emerald green, that had haunted him for sixteen years.
A green that seemed to lie far beyond the edge of his memory but often surfaced, to tear at his heart and make him lonely bitter and cruel.
He had tried many a time to open it up and found that no matter what spell or charm he used, he could not.
Lucius casually summoned the book to himself and felt a tingle of magic when he caught it in delicate pale fingers.
He gently stroked the cover and kissed it with alcohol soaked lips.
To his surprise the book sprang open and Lucius quickly looked though its contents.
It was full of letters and photographs and Lucius nearly died of shock when he looked at them.
The first one he saw was of him when he was about eighteen sitting next to a very pregnant harry potter!
What on earth! That was 17 years ago and Potter was only that just that age.
Why couldn’t he remember any of this!
Lucius picked up the first and least aged letter he found that was in his own handwriting and addressed to himself.
Dear Lucius,
I know this may come as a shock to you but you are married, I know that you may have married Narcissa Black as we are engaged, but you where once and still are, married to Harry Potter the mother of our son Draco.
I’m writing to tell you that Harry has gone, stolen back to the future and left me and Draco alone, I don’t know when I will see him again but when I do I will be whole once again.
I can’t stand the pain I love him so much it burns inside!
So to save myself and our child I am going cast a glamour on Draco, he looks just like me except for his eyes, they are a beautiful Emerald green. I am going to obliviate myself until our son begins to regain his natural features; hopefully Harry Malfoy will be mine once again.
The counter to the obliviate you have on you is 'Obliviatus Atrun Maximus Dea'.
Lucius hesitantly pointed the wand at himself. He was nervous, but as with all Malfoys curiosity had won out in the end and he cast the spell.
His eyes closed in pain for a moment as memory’s of the love he and Harry shared poured into his mind, and when he opened his molten Grey eyes they were much softer and less cruel.
Lucius ran to the bathroom, and grabbing the biggest pair of scissors he could find, he began to hack away at his long silky hair leaving a soft scraggy short cut.
He was his old Gryffindor-self again, Far from the cruel arrogant Slytherin he had pretended to be.
Lucius or Lucky as he once again thought of himself pulled out all the clothes from his wardrobe, until he finally found a black pair of muggle jeans and a red silk shirt.
“That’s better”
Lucky grabbed one of his less grandiose coats and headed to Hogwarts, it was time to get his Harry back!
