This took way longer than expected, but things with school got way crazy, but here it is, review please!!!

Two and a half weeks passed before both James and Lanie agreed that Remus and Sirius were healed up enough to start classes. Lanie would go each day after classes and fill Remus in on ever thing he missed so he wouldn't fall behind. She brought him is homework and would turn it in for him. All the while Sirius neglected to pay any attention to what she was saying during her 'lessons', instead he'd constantly catch himself staring at her or eyeing her up.

"Time to get up," Lanie whispered to Remus as she climbed into this bed, dressed and ready for the day in her school skirt and button up shirt. This would be his first day back, a Thursday, and she got up extra early to go wake every one so they could have breakfast together.

"Don't want to," Remus grumbled into his pillows as Lanie snuggled up beside him in his bed. He wrapped an arm around her and pulled her in close to him hoping she'd let him go back to sleep. She considered the idea, Remus's bed was warm and she was still tired, and the security of being pressed up against him was tempting.

"Sorry love but you have to, go on, get a shower," Lanie responded by pushing against him a bit, which did little more than make him want to stay there, close to her. Remus's boy hormones where kicking in as he kissed her lightly on the neck. Lanie knew where this was going, a path they'd been down together quite a few times. If the room hadn't been full of their friends, she'd been in the mood, and there was more time before classes she would have satisfied his arousal. But they both knew that none of the other marauders wanted to be woken up by the sounds of the two of them 'going at it' as Peter would put it.

"Hate you sometimes," Remus grumbled as he got out of bed and crossed the room into their bathroom and slammed the door shut. Lanie knew he didn't mean it, she sort of deserved it for getting him excited. Rather than get up and jump on James like she normal would she sunk down in Remus's bed enjoying how warm it was, thinking that maybe she'd just skip out on classes today. Remus's wouldn't let her now that she'd woken him up though, she almost regretted making him get out of bed.

Now don't think that Lanie and Remus are 'involved' because they are purely friends, intimate friends. They snog each other rather than snog some random person that is, and they'll sometimes have their 'intimate' moments together. For them it all comes with the territory, being as close as they are keeps it from being weird or awkward.

This was a lie of course, what they told themselves to make it seem alright, but it would in fact get very awkward. Especially with the other marauders around, occasionally walking in on them or them not even caring that anyone was watching, things got very awkward then. Neither would admit it, but they both had feelings for one another, they new better than to let the other know. Remus had made it very clear that he wouldn't allow himself to get into a relationship with anyone, his lycanthropy kept him from it, or at least that was his excuse.

The door slamming made James stir and Peter had gotten up to start dressing. Sirius was still snoring, loudly. Remus finished his shower and came back into the room in a clean pair of boxes, James jumped up to take the bath room. This time when the door slammed Sirius jumped so much he nearly feel out of his bed causing Lanie and Remus to both laugh.

"Prongs, if you don't hurry, we'll miss breakfast and Lily will have to eat with some other boy," Lanie yelled as she knocked on the bathroom door. Peter was hastily dressing at this point and Sirius had rolled over hiding his head underneath a pillow. Lanie heard the shower turn off and she knew James would be along soon, so hopefully they wouldn't miss breakfast even with their early start. After Peter had finished adjusting his tie he left without the others, not wanting to miss breakfast or the opportunity to talk to a Hufflepuff girl he's had his eye on.

James bustled out of the bathroom pulling on what he hoped where a clean pair of pants over his boxers, before grabbing an ironed shirt from the wardrobe. As if it were nothing James paused in the middle of buttoning his shirt to shove Sirius off his bed and onto the floor, finally waking him up fully. Sirius grumbled and threw a pillow at James's head catching him off guard making Lanie laugh from her place on Remus's bed.

"Alright boys, I'm off," Lanie chimed as she made her way out the door closely followed by Remus, James and Sirius took a few minutes longer but caught up with them down the corridor. Lanie walked between Remus and James, Sirius on James's other side. The walk was quite, it wouldn't last long, there would be a huge uproar when they walked into the hall, all those girls jumping up to see Sirius.

"Predictable," Remus mumbled to Lanie was they took their seats at the Gryffindor table across from Lily. James had taken the open seat beside Lily and Sirius was fighting his way threw the anticipated crowd of girls.

"Disgusting if you ask me," Lily didn't bother to mumble and hide her distaste of Sirius's womanizing behavior. James laughed a little at how honest she was, he loved that about her.

"Sorry, love, but when you're one of the two most gorgeous men in Hogwarts girls can't help but flock," James smiled at an annoyed looking Lily.

"So tell us Prongs, who is this other gorgeous 'man' you speak of?" Lanie smirked from across the table enjoying the amused smirk that was now on Lily's face as well.

"Me of course," James made it sound like the most obvious thing in the world and looked extremely offended when both Lily and Lanie burst out laughing. Lanie had of course known James was referring to himself but she couldn't help but mess with him a bit.

"Sure Prongs," Lanie managed to get out threw a giggle. James mocked hurt, knowing she was only joking but was still a tad bit bothered that she'd do that in front of Lily.

"Potions first, yeah?" Remus knew they had potions first but he was trying to keep Lanie and James from another one of their 'sibling' tiffs. They acted and fought with each other as if they were brother and sister ever since second year. Lily thought it was cute that they were so close, she only wished she got along as well with her sister.

"Like you don't know that Mooney," James answered as he stole a piece of buttered toast from Lanie's plate skillfully without her noticing till she went to reach for it and it wasn't there. Before she could argue with him over stealing her food Sirius joined them at the table, surprisingly without any of his followers with him.

"Glad to have you back mate," Peter piped up from his spot next to James, Sirius gave him an appreciative clap on the back before forcing his way between him and James so he was sitting across from Lanie. She hadn't noticed though, Remus had pointed out an article to her in the paper and she was now hidden behind it with one of Remus's arms around her to hold the paper up in front of each of them equally so they could both read. This was their first morning back and Sirius was already jealous of the attention Remus was getting from Lanie, it only made him feel worst that Remus wasn't trying nor did he appreciate it like Sirius would. Sirius had brushed off every girl that came up to him this morning in hopes that Lanie would notice and maybe someone would make a comment about his having changed. Several of those girls Sirius had been trying to get for some time now and that only made the lack of attention from Lanie bother him even more. It hadn't really mattered to him that those girls paid him a bit of attention now, he wasn't interested, he was focused.

"We should be off," Lily nudged Lanie to pull her attention away from the paper. Lanie and Remus got up without question and gathered their bags off the floor. James and Sirius took this as an indication to cram every last bit of food on their plates into their mouths before rushing to at least catch up with Peter who was a few paces behind the girls and Remus. Peter parted with the group to go out on the grounds for his Herbology class, he wasn't taking advanced potions with the rest of the group.

"Partner with me," James wrapped an arm around Lanie as he came to walk beside her, "please," he said in a more pleading tone as he gave her his best pout.

"Now why would I want to do that," Lanie teased.

"Because…you're the best in potions and Padfoot is lousy at it and he'll need to partner with Mooney" James was stopped for a second when Sirius punched him rather hard in the arm, "well I'm not the best in it either and you'd rather help me than Padfoot, so if you had to be stuck with one of us with would you choose?"

"Who says Mooney and I wouldn't leave you two and partner together, Slughorn could use a few exploding potion to keep him on his toes," Lanie giggled at the thought of a cauldron exploding green slime right in old Slughorn's face.

"Lanie, we want to keep him on his toes, not get him killed," Lily mused, "letting those to together would certainly end tragically after a class, maybe two if Slughorn gets lucky."

"She's got a point," Remus agreed, "they'd be the death of him if we left them together." They'd final reached the dungeon classroom and Lily parted to take her seat beside a friend of hers in Ravenclaw.

"So I'm stuck with Prongs then," Lanie mocked annoyance as she drug him by the arm to the table behind Lily. She didn't really mind having him as a partner, he made for good company. Lanie was also amazing at potions so if James knew what he was doing or not it didn't really matter.

"I love you too, Kit," James smiled as he sat down beside her before Slughorn entered and silenced the door. This was the part of the lesson where Lanie would space out and ignore Slughorn, she hated his lectures, always so boring. After he'd finished droning on James went to get the ingredients while Lanie set up either cauldron.

"That was awful," Sirius groaned two hours later when they were finally dismissed from potions.

"Why do you say that, our potion turned out fine," (Remus)

"It was sort of awful," Lanie agreed, shocking the whole group, "what, I was bored, James and I finished an hour before class let out and Slughorn never lets us leave." This made everyone laugh, they knew how much Slughorn got on Lanie's nerves.

"Miss Evans, Miss Morgan, if I could trouble you for a moment," Slughorn called from down the corridor near the class room door. Lanie let out an annoyed sigh and turned around to go back down the hall with Lily. Lily and Lanie both knew what this was about, Lily was of course excited to know that Slughorn would be holding his usual monthly parties. Lanie had thought that maybe this year he wouldn't hold them because they were nearing the end of the month and he hadn't mentioned anything about the 'Slug Club' yet this year.

"Yes professor?" Lily smiled at the plump middle aged man. Lanie had her arms crossed over her chest and she was leaning against the wall rather uninterested in anything their professor would have to say.

"I just wanted to give you girls your invitations to my first little party of the year," Lanie couldn't help but laugh when he used the word little. His parties were anything but little, they were always overdone with enough guests to make you think all the sixth years had been invited. "It will be held one Saturday from the next, I'm sure you'll be able to attend, no quidditch matches or Hogsmeade trips to keep you from it, I've checked." With that he handed each of the girls a fancy light blue envelope and reentered his classroom.
