Chapter 3

When Harry was able to open his eyes he came face to face with an old woman who was hanging upside down in front of him.

“Why are you upside down?” Harry asked the old woman assuming she was the first of the three he was to meet.

“It is not me that is upside down dear, it is you!” the old woman replied.

Harry blinked before looking at his feet. Finding nothing but air he looked above him and found the floor. Looking at the floor seemed to break the spell and he fell the last few feet to the ground with an indignant, “Ooof.”

He just lay there trying to get his bearings when the old woman’s face appeared in his line-of-sight.

“Are you just going to lie there all day?” the old woman asked.

“I was thinking about it,” Harry replied before sitting up with a groan.

“We shouldn’t dawdle. Those wind bags have kept you long enough. Your body may not accept you back if you take much longer,” the old woman said grabbing Harry’s shirt and hauling him to his feet.

Standing enabled Harry to get a good look at the old woman standing in front of him.

She was a stout old lady of five feet, with a dumpling face and bright blue eyes that twinkled mischievously. Her soft snow white hair curled around her face and she leaned on a very familiar cane.

“Why do you have Mr. Malfoy’s cane?” Harry asked.

“Mr Malfoy, Mr Malfoy, oh that would be young Lucius in your era,” the old woman said, “Well this cane was passed down from generation to generation.”

“So that would make you a Malfoy” Harry said, “If you’re a Malfoy then why are you speaking to me?”

“Tut, tut dear. We should never question the powers that be. I may be a Malfoy but I apparently have something that could help you,” the elderly Malfoy replied, “Now let’s see. You are being hunted by a madman who my family supports. So what you need is a way to get those loyal to the madman to defect. Lucius is quite the influential being so perhaps a contract of some kind to lure him to the light. Hmmm now, oh dear which one…”

“What do you mean by contract?”

“Oh. You see dear back when I was alive I was a master of contracts. If someone wanted to have you as a slave I could create a contract that was so binding that you’d never be able to squirm your way out of it. Now we need a contract that will be too juicy for my dear descendant to pass up,” the elderly Malfoy said rubbing her hands together.

“Umm, since Dra…Malfoy failed and is fighting against Voldermort’s followers as we speak. What will happen? Mr. Malfoy won’t hurt Dr…Malfoy will he?” Harry asked worried for the young blonde’s life.

For some reason he could actually feel his body being held. It was delightfully warm in the places where it felt like Draco was touching.

Looking at the elderly woman he noticed her eyes were a twinkle. He wondered if she was related to Dumbledore as well some how.

“Harry dear, have you ever thought about having children?” the elderly Malfoy asked smirking.

“Uh…well…, what kind of question is that?” Harry asked flustered.

“Answer me dear we don’t have all day.”

“I guess I did think about it but since I think I might like men I was planning on seeing if they might like to adopt or something,” Harry mumbled scuffing his feet.

“Why don’t you just carry them yourself? I believe you are strong enough. Your pregnancy may also be used to your advantage if you can find a specific contract that should be in your family vaults. It makes the family of the father of the child pledge their loyalty to the side of the mother of the child,” the elderly Malfoy said, “Its called “The Contract of Hearts”.

“Carry the child myself. You mean like carry it in here,” Harry said pointing at his belly.

“Of course! Where else would you carry the child?” the elderly Malfoy asked confused.

“But I’m male,” Harry said confused.

“So?” came the reply, but the soft chiming of some bells interrupted, “Well my times up. Use that contract if you feel it may help. Talk to Draconis about it, he is a smart one, takes after me the dear. Don’t forget to use everything to your advantage. Sometimes you need to be sneaky and underhanded to outwit your opponent. Now it was nice meeting you dear and enjoy life.”

With that the woman disappeared.

“You’re looking a bit ruffled,” Harry heard from behind him.

Swinging around, he came face to face with a man with black hair and black eyes. He was dressed in what seemed to be a black toga which contrasted awfully with his chalk white skin.

“Who are you?” Harry asked.

“Kael,” came the answer.

“Kael who?” Harry asked again

“Just Kael,” the man replied.

“Okay. I was told to ask you how I can solve the problem of Remus Lupin and my want for family,” Harry said looking at the pale man.

“Necromancy,” Kael replied.

“Necromancy, but isn’t that the art of summoning and communicating with spirits?” Harry asked remembering having to learn it for Divination.

“Only to the normal, you however can resurrect their body as well as their soul,” Kael replied.

“Me? Why me?” Harry squeaked.
“You are a wizard yes? You are powerful yes? Then why not,” Kael replied, “Think things through before you act. You have great power not only within you but around you. Use it.”

With that Kael disappeared.

Suddenly grass sprung up under his feet and flowers started to bloom in abundance. In the end he was standing in a large field of flowers.

A small stream flowed nearby, Harry walked towards it and spotted his mum sitting on a small blanket staring into the water.

“Come sit down Harry. I’m afraid we don’t have much time,” Lily whispered as she looked up at him and smiled.

Harry sat down on the blanket and looked into the stream to see what had captured his mother’s attention again.

He saw Dumbledore’s office being reflected in the lake it looked like the Death Eaters had barricaded themselves in the office creating a wall between them and the advancing Aurors’ unfortunately Dumbledore, Severus, Draco and his body were on the wrong side of the wall.

“I need to get back there and help,” Harry said standing.

“I know Harry,” Lily said, “So I’m going to give you one piece of advice. Love Harry, love with all your heart, never choose what you think is right always follow your heart.”

“Ok mum will do,” Harry said smiling.

Lily stood and pulled her son into a hug when she pulled back she said, “Take care of Draco he’ll be a loyal boyfriend and husband, as well as a great father.”

“Do you think he really does love me?” Harry asked sceptically.

When he really thought about it he wasn’t even remotely repulsed at the thought of being the boyfriend of Draco Malfoy. Actually it was quite the opposite he was a little turned on.

“I believe so,” Lily replied, “Now you must go back.”

Lily leant forward and placed a kiss on Harry’s forehead.

“Also before you go I want to give you this,” Lily said taking his hand.

Harry looked down to find that their joined hands were glowing brightly. Slowly the glow eventually faded away.

“What was that?” Harry asked bewildered.

“It is the some of the power and knowledge I have received from this plain. Hopefully it will help,” Lily replied hugging her son close, “But now you must go. Your father and I love you very much.”

“I miss you,” Harry whispered.

As things started to fade Harry called out, “See you soon mum.”

Everything went black and he started to feel himself fall again suddenly he hit the ground pain shooting through every part of his being. As he went to scream he felt his eyes flutter close, before he was sucked into nothingness.
