Chapter Six
A.N. No I have not abandoned this story but I had a small (*cough*large*cough*) issue of writers block and refusal to take my Adderal that helps me to focus. It happens from time to time when I realize I’m only Twenty-one and taking more pills then most at 50. But with enough threatening from my parents and the fact I wasn’t doing so well in classes I am back on them. And Cookies to anyone who actually read this.
Chapter Six
By the time Loki was ready to leave his room he was calmed considerably. His mom was right, being a Sub wasn’t bad. Camron was one of his favorite uncles and he would be saddened to think Loki thought badly about being the Sub. So he wasn’t the dominant partner, it didn’t mean he didn’t have any power in the relationship, he knew many subs that only had to give a threatening look to their Dom and they had them bending over backwards for them. He could do that.
So with his mom on his side Loki headed back down stairs, only to stop at the bottom. There sitting at the table directly in front of them was his dark Dom. He was ready to flee again but Sheena had her arm wrapped around his waist and she wouldn’t let him.
“I take it that’s him?” Loki nodded. “Well then I think you should talk to him instead of running. I will be just over there with Remus,” Sheena said pointing to the werewolf that luckily hadn’t left yet.
So Sheena gave her son one more comforting hug and walked away. Loki warily headed to the Dom, and sat opposite to him. “Um, hi?”
Severus gave an actually smile to his shy soon to be mate, “Hello, I don’t believe we have formally meet. I am Severus Snape and you would be…”
“Loki, Loki Silvermane.” Loki said shyly.
“Well my dear Loki, I believe you know what I am but although I know you are not quite normal I do not know why, care to enlighten me?”
“I don’t.” At Severus raised eyebrow he explained more,” I don’t know what you are, just that you are an alpha.”
“Is that so? Well then if I tell you what I am then will you tell me what you are?”
At Loki’s nod Snape continued, “I am an Alp.”
Loki tried to think of what he knew of Alps but it wasn’t much, “But where is your hat?”
Severus smirked,” I see you are thinking of the muggle version of an Alp not the actual version.”
“What’s the difference?” asked the intrigued Loki.
Unlike Muggle belief an Alp isn’t a small little elf that sits on sleepers chests and causes nightmares and wears a silly hat. It is actually a cross between a Vampire and a Dark elf. I do have the power to control dreams, shape-shift and turn invisible when the need arises.”
Loki perked up at the shape-shifting part, “What can you turn into?”
“I can turn into a panther, a coyote, or a king cobra.”
“Wow that’s great!
Severus gave another patented smirk, “Yes, well it has saved my life a few times but now, I think its time for you to tell me what you are.”
“Oh right, well I am a Shape Shifter,”
This caught Severus attention, “Interesting I have heard about shape shifters before but they are thought to be only a myth. What can you shift into?”
“Well my main animal is a wolf but I can also change into a boa constrictor, a sugar glider, a black bear, a hawk, an otter and also a panther.” Loki said proudly.
“Amazing and can you change into all those animals at will?”
“Yup it’s great! I’m thankful my mom took me in, otherwise I wouldn’t have such cool abilities,” Loki said before brushing some hair out of his face.
Loki noticed the glare directed at his forehead, “What’s wrong?”
“Your Potter!,” Severus hissed.
