I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
I'd Do It, But You'll Miss Me
Author's Notes: There's something about this one...it's almost like it's complete, but still missing it's last part...I dunno, this, if any, will probably be the one I return to first.
I’d Do It, But You’ll Miss Me
I hate the way sunlight touches your skin. The way the shadows cast along the soft indents of your spine, when you’re sprawled across the bed in the early morning hours. I hate to lay here and watch you breathing gently, messing up the fine silk sheets that should only smell of me.
It means that all the moments were for nothing. All the struggling and anger, jealousy and madness. Because everything I was, was crushed in the single moment when you looked at me. When you touched me once, I fell before you in awe.
So I hate you.
But I’ll wake you with a kiss and gentle fingers down your spine.

“Scars take time to heal.”
Then I am forever broken.

We woke up on the first day of the last week of seventh year beside each other. Green and silver meeting in a calm crash. And then your smile echoed through the shadows of the bed. Movement beyond the curtains, the Silencing Spell unable to keep out the sounds as well as keep them in.
We said nothing, did nothing but look.
And then you moved, and something in me moved. Liquid gold and silver, meeting to clash in the sea of red. All fingers and teeth and lips and eyes.
Eyes.
Those eyes that asked such simple, complex questions. What am I to you? Who are you to me? What will happen to us?
Is this what they call love?

You moved and I moved and we were all that existed.
Gods made human, our lives so very short, and so very very long.
And I could die right here.
Inside you.
