03 Candle

“Potter, light your wand.”
“I can’t find it,” said Harry frantically. He cursed aloud when his toe found the edge of a chair.
“Damn it, you’re not supposed to misplace your wand,” huffed Draco. “I don’t want to keep groping things…”
“Well, where’s your wand, Malfoy?” Harry said. He found what was supposedly the bed.
There was silence, and then Draco finally said, “Don’t be pointing fingers, just keep looking.”
Harry scowled in the darkness. Fumbling around on the nightstand, he felt the handle of a candlestick holder. Where there was a holder, there had to be… yes, there was a candle! “Aha!” he cried.
“Find it?” asked Draco.
“I found a candle.”
“Oh, brilliant,” said Draco sarcastically. “And just what are we going to use to light it with?”
“If you come over here you could light it with your breath.”
“Tee-fucking-hee, Potter. Let’s be serious here.”
“I don’t suppose you have any matches, then?”
“No, I left them in my other robes. What do you think?!”
Harry stretched an arm out and found Malfoy, who squeaked when Harry pulled him close.
“Well, we better find something to light this candle, or we’ll be in the dark together forever.”
