Chapter 3: Changing of the tide

Dumbledoor watched the sun rise from the bay window in his office. He sighed as stood up, and made his way back to his desk. ’Another night without sleep.’ He thought to himself.
The old fool looked over the papers on his desk and shook his head. Of course he regretted the actions he had made that night with the Potters, but there was no reversing it now. He couldn’t change the past, and he certainly wasn’t going to go off course now, just because of stupid boy that wouldn’t die, was in his way.
’No.’ He thought. ’I must stick to the plan, and forget about Harry. I must keep going.’ And with that he pulled out his wand, and went to his pensive.

Harry sat alone in the Great Hall. It was so early that he was the first one awake and breakfast wasn’t even on the table yet. So taking advantage of this quiet, he laid his head on the breakfast table and breathed in deeply. It seemed like only seconds later that he felt someone sit down beside him and lighly touch his arm. Harry slowly lifted his head, to see a slightly odd looking Draco Malfoy.
It seemed like the smaller boy hadn’t slept at all either. He lifted his eyebrow at Draco, as if asking the question with his face.
Draco remaind silent for a moment before answering. ’’I was just wondering if you were ok… I mena i know its slightly odd that I would be asking this… I mean we are worst enemies and all-’’
’’Why are we, anyways?’’
’’Why are we what?’’
’’Enemies…? I mean we are on the same fucking side after all.’’
Draco stared at Harry, leaving nothing but a stunned silence around them.
’’You mmean.. that you..?’’
’’Are on the dark side.” Harry slowly began to smirk at the adorably confused Draco.
’’And the Dark Lord-’’
’’Is happy to get all the help he can get.”
’’But the muggleborns-’’
’’It was never about that. It was about dethroning Dumbledoor.’’
”But your parents-”
”Were killed by Dumbledoor, to try and stir up trouble and make them hate Tom.”
”Tom?”
Harry had a full smirk now, and his eyes were glitering maliciously.
”Is like a mentor.”
Draco semmed to be taking all the information well and alsoe seemed to be accepting it well.
”And me? No us?”
Harry just shook his head and answered this with a light kiss to Draco’s lips.
After a moment’s pause, Draco answered the kiss with a passion that Harry couldn’t have immagined from the small boy.
Harry moaned lightly into the kiss, and then they broke apart. Harry stood.
”Breakfast is going to start soon. And I have a letter to write.”
Draco just nodded and went to his Slytherin table, but not before Harry got in a yummy kiss.
Harry went up to the owlry to write his thank-you note to Tom. ’And how am I going to take care of Ron and Hermy. I know she’ll accept me. But Ron…?’
The taller boy just shook his head and finished his trip to the owly. Little did either boy know that a pair of onyx eyes watching them.

AN: ok so that’s chapter three. I hope a few more things make sence. Watch out for the next chapter, we wil see what happens when Harry and Draco come out, and whose in charge while the boss is away???
