-----------------------------------

Ren headed towards the door, making to pick up his bag which Harry promptly grabbed away from her much to her amusement. After following her though countless hallways and down a flight of stair all the while feeling like he was lost in a maze in which he would never be able to find a spot more than once they finally came to a stop in front of a small set of double doors.

Ren threw the doors open with a flourish and Harry peered inside. The room was lavishly decorated, so much so that Harry was left wondering if it had once been a set itself. It had a large fireplace and a spacious corner with a desk and bookshelves that could be considered a study. There was a set of very large curtains that stretched from the ceiling to the floor on one wall and a large king size, four poster bed was squished in against the wall in the space between the curtains and the corner in such a manner that the headboard was next to the curtains and the foot of the bed pointed towards the study.

Everything was decorated in rich, deep colours, mostly black, burgundy and a plum violet. And against the wall embedded with the door there was a comfortable looking sofa as well as another door beyond it. In between the sofa and the bed there was a plush rug that occupied a great deal of space and looked as though it would feel wonderful between his toes.

“Wow.” Harry breathed, nearly taken over by the urge to run and jump onto the four poster bed, which was covered in a duvet that looked so soft Harry felt he would sink right into it and sleep forever if he were to ever so much as touch it, but he managed to restrain himself.

“I’m sorry, it was all we could manage.” Ren said causing Harry to tear his eyes away from the room and cast them to her, a confused expression on his face.

“It’s the only free room we have right now.” She explained, “So I’m afraid you’re going to have to share with your shoot partner. Usually the model is given a choice as to whether or not they’d like to share a room, because although we prefer the models to be familiar with each other, not everyone is as social, but in your case I’m afraid you have no other choice but to share.”

Harry shrugged his shoulders, “It’s not a problem,” he said. If worst came to worst and his partner wasn’t particularly comfortable with such close quarters then they could always take turns sleeping on the couch. Harry himself had no qualms with sharing a bed though, in fact he could sleep easier with a warm body next to his.

“Glad to hear it. Anyways, seeing as your partner hasn’t arrived yet I think it’s best that we wait here for my brother and him. After the introductions we can all head down to dinner together.” Ren said. She pointed her wand at the fireplace and a strong roaring fire blazed to life in the hearth. It was then that Harry realized how chilly the room was, though it wasn’t really all that unpleasant. Ren walked over to the couch and sat down, curling her feet underneath her as Harry too dropped his bags and went to join her.

“This door behind me,” she said jerking her head towards it, “leads to a very nice bathroom. And behind those curtains are a set of sliding glass doors that can be opened to access the balcony. It gives you a really nice view of the surrounding lands.”

Harry nodded, glancing at the heavy black curtains as the light from the fire lit them with shadows. “So,” Harry started in what he hoped to be a conversational tone. “What kind of work exactly will I be doing?”

“There’s no need to worry, we’ll be gentle with you.”

“I’m not worried-” Harry started before he realized that she had only been teasing him.

“Of course not,” Ren said, giving him a rather knowing smile. “But really, you don’t have to worry. The shots we’re going to do are mostly going to be about atmosphere. I mean half of the shots you may not even be near you partner but you have to keep in mind that it’s the whole frame that matters. And we were also hoping to get some solitary shots.”

Harry nodded, feeling slightly at ease at the fact that he wasn’t expected to behave in a similar fashion to some of the photographs he had seen in Ren’s office. It wasn’t as though he was self-conscious, he liked to keep his personal life a secret but this was an entirely different matter. He just didn’t think it was all together a bright idea to shove his bits into the eagerly awaiting public eye in a manner of speaking.

“After dinner would you like a tour of the house or would you prefer to go check out the gallery and wardrobe?”

“A tour.” Harry said all too quickly causing her to laugh.

“I know, this place can be a bit confusing but don’t worry you’ll get use to it.”

“Hm, thanks. I thought I had the last of confusing architecture behind when I left Hogwarts.” Harry paused and glanced up. It really was a beautiful building though. “So how long will all this take?”

Ren paused thoughtfully for a moment before answering him. “Well it depends on the chemistry between you and your shoot partner. If things go really well we could be done in about a month. Although a more realistic timeline is about six weeks.” Ren seemed to notice the stunned expression on Harry’s face. “Is there a problem?”

“What? Oh, no. It’s just that I told my coach I was going to be back in two weeks. He’s going to be steamed. But that’s fine, I could do with a vacation.” And it was true. One of the main reasons he had left and taken this opportunity was to get away from Quidditch.

“I’m glad you can think of this as a vacation.” Ren said, smiling. Then Harry heard the double doors open and her eyes slid from him to whoever had entered. “That’s them.” She said standing.

Harry stood as well and swivelled around to face the pair that had entered. “The brunette is my brother Alexander.” Ren said gently, but it was not to him that Harry’s eyes fell. No he was too busy staring at the pretentious platinum blond that was currently giving the room the once over. This cannot be happening, Harry thought as his eyes were caught by silver orbs, and the blonde’s face registered about as much shock as he thought his own was showing.

“And this,” Ren said with a flourish, “Is the man you will be modeling with for the shoot, Draco Malfoy.”
