Disclaimer:
I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Chapter Three
Disclaimer: Unfortunately I am not the owner of Harry Potter or anything related to him. I can wish all I want but the fact of the matter is that he already belongs to J.K Rowling...despite how ticked off I am at her for the direction that she's currently taking my two favourite characters!
A/N: I know I really should be starting another story when I currently have six to finish but this was a really good idea and if I didn't write it down I was going to forget it! Hope you like this one as much as you've like my other ones. Warning though this one is a little more tripped out then the others. And Yes, there is SLASH involved!
Chapter Three
Even after Harry's warning it had been extremely easy to talk Miranda into letting him into Harry's office. All he had to say was that Harry has asked him to meet him there and throw in a week. She'd smiled and let him walk right in.
Draco grinned to himself, taking a seat behind Harry's desk and relaxed. Women are so easy to work with. He thought to himself, glancing around the office, his eyes landing on the piles of papers and the empty coffee cups littering the shelves and filing cabinets. Still not the neatest person, I see.
Turning the chair around he glanced out the window. “I still don't understand how you managed to get an office with a window.” he muttered, leaning back.
“That's probably because they like me.” Harry answered, stepping into the room. “And I usually don't make a habit of sneaking into other people's offices.”
Draco turned back around with a grin. “I can't help it. You're just too cute!”
Harry rolled his eyes. “Yeah, and remind me to fire my secretary as soon as we get back.”
“Love to, but we have a little issue with a restraining order.” Draco responded, dryly.
Harry grinned. “Oh yes. Let's get this mission started. I can't wait to come home.”
“You're not serious about that restraining order, are you?”
“Dead serious.”
“Harry, you're risking my job.” Draco snapped, with a glare. “You may not like me, but I risked my life to get this far. You of all people know that.”
“I am not risking your job.” Harry responded, with a sigh. “Stop being so dramatic.”
“What do you think is going to happen? Bloomfield is just going to grin and ignore the fact that half of his department can't work with the other half due to the restraining order between two of his head aurors? He's going to get rid of one of us and it's not going to be the Great Savior of the Wizarding World, is it?”
Harry raised an eyebrow. “Then I suggest you start thinking of ways to change my mind.” he responded, before turning and heading out of the room.
Draco glared after him. “Damn it, Potter.” he muttered, before following him out.

“I've organized all the paperwork and sent all our information ahead of you.” Bloomfield explained, glancing at both Harry and Draco in turn. “I want daily reports from each of you, on what is happening. Understood?”
“Yes, sir.” they chorused.
“Good. You're belongings have already been sent.” Bloomfield responded, handing Harry a small disk that would act as a portkey at the appropriate time. “It is scheduled to activate in 5 minutes. Good luck.”
Draco watched as Bloomfield retreated. “So, five minutes, eh?”
Harry rolled his eyes and held out the disk. “Let's just stand here quietly.”
“I don't suppose an apology would get you to rethink this whole restraining order thing, would it?”
Harry scoffed. “Yeah, cause you're apologies have meant so much in the past.”
Draco sighed. “Why are you still holding that against me? I said I was sorry. What more do you want from me. Yes, I cheated on you, which apparently is a bad thing. I get it.”
Harry glared. “Three, two, one.”
Before Draco could say anything else, there was a familiar pull behind his navel and his felt his feet leave the floor. After a moment, they set back down, which cause Draco to tip forward into Harry.
Harry caught him easily. “You'd think by now, you'd be used to it.” he responded, stepping away from him.
“I hate portkeys.” Draco muttered, spotting someone coming across the field towards them. “What a welcoming party, this is.”
Harry shot him a look before heading in the direction of the new comer.
“Sorry, I'm late.” the guy called, approaching them. “Things are a bit hectic at the moment. I sort of lost track of time.”
“That quite alright.” Harry responded, introducing himself. “I'm Harry and this is Draco.”
“Hey.” the man greeted, nodding to Draco before turning back to Harry. “I'm Jason, I with the Scotland division of the ministry and as of right now, you're personal assistant.”
“Oh great.” Draco glared, eying the distance or rather lack of distance between Harry and Jason. “Room service.”
Harry shot him a glare, before smiling back at Jason. “Ignore him.”
Jason raised an eyebrow. “No prob. Now come on. We've got some introductions and briefing to get out of the way before we can get you settled.”
Draco glared at the two of them as they started toward the camp. The Scottish dumb ass better keep his hands to himself.
Why? It's not like Harry's yours or anything.
We are here to work not make friends.
Someone is a little jealous.
Draco growled to himself and set off after them.

It took roughly twenty minutes to reach the camp. Once there Jason led them straight to the middle of camp where the rest of the team was training.
“There are a couple of guys currently out in the field, but most of us are here.” Jason explained, nodding to a few people as they passed. “We've called in the best from the different regions in order to get things under control. The way we see it, the less people we need on this case the better it will be.”
Harry nodded. “Sounds like a good idea to me.”
Draco rolled his eyes. “Please.”
“Harry, Draco, this is Tristan and Deidre. They are from the Irish division. They specialize in medicine. They're the best medi-wizards of the area.” Jason said, introducing them to a small women with long black hair and an older man, with curly brown hair and a warm smile.
“Hello.” they greeted.
“It is a pleasure to meet you.” Deidre added, shaking their hands. “If you need anything feel free to ask.”
“Thank you.” Harry responded, politely. “The pleasure is ours.”
Jason grinned as he led the two of them over to the next group of people. “Let me have the pleasure of introducing you to the twins. Julian and Alexander. They're from the Canadian ministry of magic. They deal with special weapons and tactics. If you can't find them on the ground, then I'd suggest looking in the trees.”
“Oh great.” Draco muttered. “Muggle methods.”
“You'll be surprised at how effective they are.” One of the twins responded, leaning against the trunk of a tree. “I'm Alexander. The long haired one in the tree is Julian.”
“Hey.” Julian added from his spot in the tree. “How's it going.”
“Hi.” Harry greeted. “It's a pleasure to meet you.”
“Same here.” Julian nodded, before jumping down out of the tree. “I'd keep your eye on that one.” he grinned, nodding to Jason. “He can be quite the handful.”
Jason flushed. “Bite me, Julian.”
“I'd love to.” Julian grinned, before wandering off.
Jason coughed. “Yes, well. Let's continue shall we.” he muttered, heading over to one of the tables were several people sat. “Hey guys. This is Harry and Draco.”
“Hey!” was the chorus from the table.
“Harry, Draco, this is Lynn and Shang from the Japanese ministry. They specialize in technology. This Cameron, our resident potions master. And this is Dylan and Sarah from the American Ministry of Magic, specializing in spells and warfare.”
Harry grinned and greeted each of them, while Draco simply nodded.
“Okay, well that's about everyone here.” Jason nodded. “Take a seat and we'll brief you on what we know.”

It took about an hour and a half before Draco and Harry were finally shown to their sleeping quarters. Jason was a great guy but he tended to be quite long winded once you got him started.
Draco followed Harry into the tent. “What the hell was that?”
Harry raised an eyebrow. “What the hell was what?”
“We're suppose to be here to work, not flirt with the dumb bloke from Canada.”
“What are you on about.” Harry asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Oh don't play innocent.” Draco snapped. “I saw you. You were practically drooling over Julian.”
“I was not!”
“Yes, you were.”
“I was not!” Harry responded, rolling his eyes. “Do me a favor and shut up, alright? Now if you don't mind, I'm going to sleep. I would like at least a couple hours where I'm not plagued by your presence.”
Draco bristled at being waved off. “You are such a fucking idiot!” he fumed. “You know what, fuck you. I'd hate to be in your way.”
Turning around he grabbed his cloak and headed back out of the tent.
Harry rolled his eyes and climbed into bed. How the hell do I keep getting myself in these sort of situations. If this mission doesn't kill me, being around the blonde drama queen from hell will.
