Daddy, Look What I Found
Chapter 3
Written By: MorningStar
After their conversation, Severus led Harry to a guest room just down the hall from his own suit. Harry unpacked his trunk, which he had shrunken and stashed in his oversized jean pocked before leaving the Dursley’s. When he was finished he changed and lay down to sleep for the night.
Harry’s dreams were filled with hope that night. As he slept he dreamt of a new beginning, of a family all his own, of an angel sent to help him. Harry Potter dreamt of a life without the sorry excuse for relatives that he was left with for the past 17 years.

After showing the golden boy to his room, Severus Snape went to tuck in his son for the evening. Upon reaching the door to Damien’s room, Severus could hear laughing. The greasy potions master opened the door to find his son levitating in the center of his room and two lively kittens running under him.
“Damien, how many times have I told you not to do such a thing until you are a trained wizard,” demanded Severus, waving his wand and making the boy land gracefully on the plush carpet below. “I do not want to have to call Poppy because you’ve gotten yourself hurt.”
Rising from the carpet to climb into bed, Damien in attempts to change the subject asked about Harry Potter. “So what did you do with the boy? Who was he anyway?”
Severus walked over to tuck his son into bed, “‘The boy’ as you call him is one of my students, and he will be spending the rest of his summer here, with us. His name is Harry Potter, Damien.”
Damien looked shocked, “you mean the boy that you keep talking about, the one that blew up your potions lab last year?”
“Yes, Damien. Now it’s time for you to go to sleep,” Severus said, kissing his son on the forehead. “Goodnight.” And with that, Severus turned to leave, shutting the light off on his way out of the room.

After seeing to it that his son was safely tucked into bed, Severus headed for his study. After seating himself behind his luxurious maple desk, Severus withdrew a piece of parchment and a quill from the top compartment, and set to writing.
Albus,
I’m writing to inform you that Harry Potter will be spending the remainder of his summer, here at Snape manor. He was found in the park this afternoon by my son and brought to me. I fear that something is wrong with the boy, Albus. I have yet to find out what however.
Have you any questions, I’m sure that you know how to contact me.
-S. Snape.
After writing the letter, Severus tied it to his owl and sent it on it’s way. He would be getting a response from the old coot, he knew that Albus would have countless questions, but the most important one, Severus knew he wouldn’t yet be able to answer.
‘Is Harry Potter alright?’
