CHAPTER 3: Truth Unveiled.
It felt like ages before he saw one of his ‘rays’ came back to him. He saw that the strand of magic it came back with was strong and unwavering unlike his own. Together the rays made a lovely picture Harry’s, was golden and his mate’s was black’ pure unwavering solid black. It looked and felt as if with its presence the black strand was nurturing, and fostering the golden one. Harry felt the physical presence of his mate near his body, even after trying he could not react to the presence. Harry realized that until and unless both of his mates were present he would not be released from the coma.
The black strand had reached the core and was creating a sort of shell around the core; like armor, he realized that, this, mate of his will be his own personal savior. He felt secure and safe knowing that there will be someone who would always fight for him and stand by his side. He also realized that this mate had created a shell around him because even after touching the strand Harry could not make out who this person was, so he took a long breath and tried again. He willed the black strand to reveal to him who it belonged to and in a second he was pulled into it. It was like watching a movie in fast-forward.
Harry was in shock when he realized who his mate was, his savior; it was none other than Hogwarts potions professor Severus Snape. Back the time Harry came back to his core he was in shock the bad kind of shock. He realized his second ray was coming back and with it carried a silver strand. Harry was in awe when he saw his core with gold, silver and black together it was very beautiful an awe aspiring. Harry was now scared for he knew he did not have a lot of time before he woke up in the presence of his mates. So he willed himself into the silver strand to know the identity of his second mate.
Lucius Malfoy’s name was a surprise, but at the same time it was humorously ironic a death eater soulmate to the boy who lived. He realized that this mate would help him with his emotional issues. He knew there were seconds before he wakes in the presence of his two soulmates and he was already preparing himself for the arguing and shouting that would soon commence once he opened his eyes, and came into consciousness.
Harry woke up and the first person he saw was Dumbledore.
“Hello my boy, it’s good to see you up. How do you feel? Do you think you are up for some discussion? You know with your mates. Harry I know that you want to know who they are and talk to them but please listen before express yourself.”
“Professor I already know who they are, if you wish to know I will tell you. The first mate who came was Hogwarts very own Potions master Professor Severus Snape. His magical core is black; he will be playing the role of my savior in the relationship. My second mate is none other than the famous death eater and father to my school rival and the right hand man to my arch nemesis; these statements qualify only one person the one and only Lucius Malfoy. Did I mention professor that both these men hate me and I return the favor. Just thought of mentioning it to you.”
“I see but Harry you don’t know all of it. You are right about all that you have because that’s all the information you know. Harry Prof. Snape is not the only spy I have in Voldemort’s inner circle. Lucius has been a spy for as long as Severus has been. Harry I know this is a shock to you, but we needed two agents in there so that they could cover for each other. Harry both of these men are good and I trust them both with my life.”
“What about second year when he tried to kill me but got only Ginny? I mean didn’t he know better.”
“Well that was a test of faith by his colleagues he needed to pass it or he would not be welcomed back into the circle later when and if Voldemort came back. So he passed and now he is the right hand man and one of our best informants.”
“What about Snape alright Prof. Snape? Why was he so mean to all of us and me especially.”
“Part of the job Harry like Lucius had to pass a test Severus had it a little harder as he was so close to me. You see Harry Severus could harm Voldemort in two places: one by informing us of Voldemort’s plans and as a teacher he could the next generation of death eaters.”
“OK I get it I think, Prof. I am tired right now do you think that you could tell Prof. Snape and Mr. Malfoy that I am sorry about not being able to talk to them right now. Please I want to sleep for sometime. What time is it?”
“Its dinner time you have been out of it for nearly a day so you go to sleep right now and you can talk to them both tomorrow at breakfast. I will send breakfast with them. You go to sleep, or else Poppy will have my neck and your head. Goodnight Harry.”
“Good night Prof.”
