Seducing James Potter
Disclaimer: I'm not British. I don't have a cool British accent. I am not JK Rowling. *Sobs* God how I would love to have a British accent. They're extremely sexy, it's a fact.
Author's Note: Hm…I hope everyone likes the story so far. Reviews would obviously mean a lot. They would definitely help the muse in me come out quicker. Oh and I would really like to take a minute and thank my awesome beta! Dragonzmaster666. You're awesome! Well…on with the story.
Chapter Two – Seducing James Potter
Why do I have a feeling I am going to regret doing this, Lily asked herself again for the tenth time that day. Somehow today she had to do the impossible: strike up a conversation with James Potter, her complete and utter adversary. But she had to do it for the good of Hogwarts, not to mention the total enjoyment she would get from it. Sighing Lily continued to walk to Ancient Ruins and her mind was completely distracted for it was trying to think of ways to have a good civil conversation with Potter, that she didn't even realize that she was about to walk into the only other person in the hallway.
BAM!
"Sorry Sorry Sorry!" the boy that she ran into said.
Looking up from her new seat on the cold Hogwarts floor, Lily realized that she had the worst luck in the world.
"Oh Lily…I…I'm really really sorry. I was reading Quidditch Through the Ages and it had me really entranced. I didn't even see you. I'm really really really…"
"Pot…er James," think seduction Lily, you aren't going to get anywhere if you keep calling him Potter. "If you say sorry one more time I might just have to hex you." She said with a smile. "It's cool I understand. Plus is half my fault too, I wasn't paying any attention either."
Looking up Lily realized that James' mouth was hanging open slightly. Hehehe, this is going to be fun. Giving James her sexiest smile she gently put her pointer finger under James' chin and ever so gently closed his mouth. "Didn't your mother ever tell you that staring is impolite, Potter?" she said sexily and with that she walked away to her classroom, but that wasn't before looking back to see him staring at her with wide eyes in disbelief. Then she did something that she never thought that she would do in her life.
Lily Evans just winked at James Potter. What was the world coming to? She laughed as she realized what she just did and smiled inwardly. "This is going to be a lot more fun then I thought."

James stood in the same exact position for at least five minutes, until he heard the bell ring. He was late and to top it off when he did finally make it to class he couldn't concentrate because of what just happened.
Did she really just touch me, he thought to himself as he touched the same spot on his chin that recently housed the finger of Lily Marie Evans. He knew that any hopes for him to concentrate had gone out the window so he sat in class and daydreamed about her. The way she her hair shimmered in the sunlight, the way her green eyes went from soft and friendly to spiteful and furious when he was around. But that didn't happen this time, did it James? He thought happily smiling. She smiled and winked at me. I think I must have gone insane.
He couldn't wait till he told Padfoot and Moony what had happened.
o – o
"Uh, Prongs man, are you sure this really happened and it wasn't just a case of you falling down the moving staircases and getting knocked out?" Sirius said skeptically.
"No, I swear this really happened. Really, like five minutes before class started. That's why I was late."
"You know what I think, I think you're on some type of scary muggle drugs. What is it man? LSC? Angel sand?"
"Padfoot, you dolt, it's LSD and Angel Dust."
"Well, Moony how am I supposed to know. Did I ever live in the muggle world?"
"Can we get back to the point here; that Lily Evans winked at me!!" and as he said his last words he heard a giggle come up from behind him. Turning his head he saw the bright red hair and dark emerald green eyes that had been haunting his dreams for over 4 years. He stared as she walked by him and gently brushed up against him.
Turning her head she told him frankly, "Potter, I thought I told you that staring was impolite." And then she grinned at him. Walking a little farther she turned her head again and said, "On second thought, stare all you want. I kinda like it." And with that she hooked her arms with Becca and Sarah and walked further down the hall.
James thought he heard giggling after she turned. The sound was slowly getting lighter and lighter as they walked farther and farther.
Finally getting out of his stupor, James turned to Remus and Sirius who both currently had they're mouths hanging open, looking quite like fish. "NOW do you think I'm on drugs?"
o – o
"Oh Lily, you're so bad." giggled Becca.
"Ya know, this might actually work." stated Sarah firmly.
"Of course it's going to work. Have I ever failed at anything yet? On second thought, don't answer that."
Sarah smirked, remembering the first and last time that Lily Marie Evans ever failed at something. Well it wasn't actually failing, more like receiving the second highest grade on a Transfiguration's Exam. Of course, it probably wouldn't have irked Lily so much if the boy that got the highest grade wasn't James Potter himself. "Ha ha, what a fun day that was. I thought you would never get rid of that terrible scowl you were wearing all day."
"Just be careful, Lily."
"I will be, don't worry."
"Lily," Becca, knowing that she had to say this, even if she was going to death stares from her two, said, "just remember not to fall in love with Potter."
Rolling her eyes, Lily matter-o-factly said, "Yeah, like that would ever happen."
o – o
James was incredibly confused, yet at the same time, completely and utterly, in heaven, figuratively and literally. Honestly, he was though, flying through the clouds on his broomstick. He did that a lot, especially when he needed time to think.
What was she playing at? You shouldn't mess with a man's heart like that. One minute she hates his guts, and isn't afraid to proclaim it to the whole world and the next she's ready to push him up against a wall and snog him senseless.
Lily Evans was so utterly confusing. This whole change in her was definitely sexy, but he had no idea if it was her true feelings or if she had taken a bit of love potion. Well, he thought to himself, this new change will make it much easier for Lily and I to become friends. And with that he zoomed towards the main doors of the school, searching for Remus and Sirius or Lily. Who ever he ran into first didn't matter, he just needed to see them.
o – o
"Well, now I'm officially scared. I think it's highly possible that pigs are currently flying, hell has indeed frozen over, and that the apocalypse is upon us."
"Padfoot, shut up. I'm just as awestruck as you are. This is definitely not like Lily. She is not the type of girl to flaunt her figure for every guy to see."
"Moony, did you know that she had such a hot body?"
"Sirius, you dolt; Lily and I are friends. Yes, we sometimes do homework together in the library and she does sometimes take off her robes. Yes, she is definitely one of the hotter girls in our school. But, I don't look at her like that. She's my friend, not just someone to conquer! And you better remember that, cause if you think about going for Lily I might kill you before James can, just because you would be throwing away an amazing friendship with your best friend over some girl." Remus said quickly, so quickly in fact Sirius couldn't get a word in edge wise.
"Well, why thank you Remus. At least now I know that not every male specimen on the face of this planet thinks with the wrong head."
"Lily, uh, I didn't know you were…uh here." Sirius gulped.
"Well, looks like I am. I have a message for your friend."
"James?" Remus asked.
"No, Lord Voldemort. Of course, James."
"Alright, alright. What is it?" and with that she handed Remus a piece of paper that was folded only once, so that its contents could not be seen to the world. She nodded and thanked them both and walked out of the common room to the library to get some kind of work done before 10 o'clock tonight.
o – o
10 minutes later, James finally met the Fat Lady, he muttered the password and the portrait swung open. As he walked through the door, he looked around the common room in search of any of the people that he was looking for. At last he finally saw Remus and Sirius in the middle of a very secretive conversation. Now, what could those two be talking about he thought.
As he walked up to his two best friends, Remus spotted James and sat up straight and motioned to Sirius for him to be quiet.
"He guys, what's up?" James asked.
"Lily wanted us to give you this." And with that, Remus handed James the scrap of paper. James slowly unfolded it and read in a very neat and pretty girlish print: 'Let me see what you see. Take me to the stars tonight, James. Quidditch Pitch, 10:00, bring your broom.' James read the note smiling; Lily Evans would definitely be falling for him by sunrise. Glancing down at his watch he realized it was 9:45. Sod! he thought, only 15 minutes to get to the pitch, I'm never gonna make it, I'm gonna have to fly half way there.
"Well James, what does it say?" Remus asked.
James threw the paper at his friend told him that them that he would see them in the morning and with that, he was off getting his broom and bolting out of the common room.
o – o
Lily looked at her watch, 9:45 it read and she was already more then halfway to the pitch. She made it a point to be on time to everything. It was definitely one of her silly personality traits.
About 5 minutes later, Lily finally reached the pitch. Walking to the middle of the pitch, she looked upward, towards the stars. Sitting down, keeping her head up, she star gazed.
Lily was lost in thought and didn't really 10 minutes had past and by now she was lying on her back looking at the many dozens of constellations, made by the twinkling stars, and the many planets in space. There she was, having fun with her favorite hobby, lying down and that's exactly how James found her.
