Tainted Soul

Snape watched as Rose made her way alone through the castle for a midnight snack.
This was his chance and he was going to take it. “Miss Geller why are you sneaking
around the castle so late at night?”
She jumped at first and then she put a cold look on her face. “So I don’t run into you
while I go and get something to drink and eat. As you have noticed I don’t eat during t
he day.”
He took a step towards her and she took a step back. He took another step towards her
and when she took a step back she hit the wall. He was in front of her holding her hands
at her side before she could do anything. “I think it is time we had a little talk.”
Her breathing picked up and she looked scared and angry at the same time and it turned
him on. He wanted her so badly. But he knew she would never give into him again.
“We have nothing to talk about.”
“We have a lot to talk about.” He whispered in her ear as he smelled her hair.
“First I want to talk to you about Viktor Krum.” He hissed at her.
Her eyes clouded for a moment and then she smiled coldly at him. “Oh he is so much
better then you in bed.”
If any other person would have said that to him he would have hit them right there.
But he forced the urge down and instead he smashed his lips against her neck and
started to suck and bite up her neck. She tried to pull away from him but his grip
stopped her from moving an inch. “Snape sttopp!”
He released her neck and looked into her eyes with a heated look.
“Does he do that to your body when he touches his lips to her neck?”
She gulped and nodded. “It feels even better.”
The moment she said it she regretted it because she felt his hand
move from her arm down to bottom of her night gown. She went to
move her hand but found that she couldn’t move. He smirked at him
and nodded. “Does your pulse race when he moves his hands under
your nightie?”
“Yes.” She gasped out as he touched her inner thigh.
“Professor Snape what do you think you are doing?”
Lupin asked from behind them.
Snape’s eyes went cold and he growled. “I was
showing Rose here why it is dangerous to walk alone at night in the school.”
He let go of her and she slid down to the floor. Lupin looked at her and she
looked away not able to meet his eyes for she knew that he cold smell her
scent. Her arousal that was soaking her panties as she sat there. “She wasn’t
alone. I was walking far enough behind her so she didn’t have to feel like she
was being baby sat all the time.”
Snape spun around and looked at him. Rose just sat there praying that he would
just walk away. “Goodnight Rose.”
He left and Rose started to shake. “I hate my body.”
“It wasn’t only your body that was reacting to him.” Lupin said as he helped her up.
“That is where you are wrong.” She said as they walked towards the kitchen.
“You really do need to be more careful. Next time get one of the guys to walk down
with you. They will do it without question.” Lupin said to her.
“I thought that he would be asleep by now.” She said to him.
“My dear Rose Snape hasn’t slept a full night sleep in four years.” Lupin said to her.
Rose stopped and looked at him. “I think that I need to talk to Snape alone.”
“I cannot allow that.” He said to her.
“Lupin do not make me pull out the heavy stuff on you.” She said to him.
He looked at her and laughed. “Yeah and what is that?”
She looked at him with her eyes half closed and poked out her bottom lip. “Please
Lupin I want to talk to Snape alone.”
“Tomorrow morning in Dumbledore’s sitting room. The safe zone.” Lupin said
shaking his head.
“See I told you it was going to work.” She said to him.
All that night she wondered why she is even doing this. She knew that she wasn’t
going to forgive him just yet but she also knew that if she gave him the time of
day for him to talk he would stop following her around all the time. Rose couldn’t
sleep so she sat up and wrote Viktor a letter. She hasn’t gotten one from him yet
and it was beginning to worry her that he had forgotten about her.
“Viktor,
You don’t know how much I miss being in your home and in your arms. I feel so
lost without them around me. I feel like nothing is going to be ok. I know that it
sounds funny but I honestly think that if I don’t see you soon I will go mad. Please
come and visit me. I need to see your face. Oh and that ring is beautiful I wear it all
the time. I haven’t taken it off since I put it on. Thank you for being there when I needed
someone. You didn’t have to care about the girl you found crying in the rain but you did
and you helped me more then you realize. You helped me start to heal and for that I don’
t know how to thank you. Just come to me. Hold me for a while. I need to feel your arms
around me.
Rose Geller.”
She folded up the parchment and tied it to her owl’s leg. “Go as fast as you can ginger.”
She looked at the fire and knew that after this she was going to be confused. She has some
much inside her that she didn’t know where to start to share it. All she knew that the longer
she leapt it in the less she felt like she was alive. So she was taking steps towards the light
she has fought for almost all her life.
Soon it was 7 and she got dressed. As she made her way to Dumbledore’s office she wondered
again why she is allowing this. Then she realized that she couldn’t move on without doing this.
She couldn’t love someone without letting it out. She walked into Dumbledore’s office and found
Snape looking at the fire with his back to her. There was coffee and breakfast on the desk for them.
“Why are you doing this to me now?”
“I am not doing this to you. I am doing this for me. I don’t know if I can ever forgive you
Snape but I know that I have to try. I have to try to forgive you.” She said as she sat down
in the chair next to the fire.
He turned and looked at her. The look in her eyes shocked and scared her. “I fell for you
when you were 14. Me a professor falling for a student and under age at that. But I did. I fell
right over and for the first time in my life I didn’t care. I had to have you near me. I had to
see you or I would go crazy. Then he saw you in my mind and wanted you. He got his parents
to agree. It sickened me with fear for what he was going to do. When I watched my self lead
you away from everyone and into my office. I wanted to kill myself. I fought myself and lost. I
couldn’t stop what was happening. As we were pulled to him I saw the realization on your face. I
saw the fear and I knew that it wasn’t him that you were scared of it was me. The fear in your eyes
was towards me.
I fought myself the whole time but I couldn’t stop. As I ripped your clothes off I fought. As I hit you
over and over again I fought when I slammed into you taking your innocence away I fought but I lost
it all. Not once did you scream at me. Not once did you allow me to see the pain that I knew I was
causing. The pain that I know you would receive there because of me. You just looked up at me with
hate filled eyes as I raped you. I tried to kill myself but of curse he wouldn’t allow it. It was
amusement to him that I had fallen for you and was forced to do this to you. Your parents I hated.
I wanted to kill them for what they granted him to do.”
She didn’t say anything as she stared into the fire. Then she cleared her throat and looked up into
his eyes. For the first time in his life he seen what she had hidden from him. He seen all the pain
there and he fell to his knees in front of her. He grabbed her hands and put his head in her lap.
“I don’t deserve forgiveness. I don’t deserve to have you as a friend and I know that I will never
be in your heart again. I think that is what hurts em most that you don’t love me.”
She pulled one hand away from his and softly slid her hand through his hair that was lying on her
lap. “That day when you asked me to accompany you to your office I was fighting with Harry about
you. I told him that you were different then what they thought but he didn’t understand how different
you really were. I did and I have to admit I miss it. I miss seeing you smile at me as I help you with
your potions. I miss the little touches of hands that use to happen. But most of all I miss being able t
o look at you and know that I trust you with everything in me. I think it would have been easier for me
if you weren’t under a curse. It would be easier for me to hate you and I wish I could just say I forgiv
e you. But I know that I can’t not yet. I can’t give you what you need to hear and I am sorry. But I want
you to know that I am trying. I miss you and even if I lie to my heart and tell it that I don’t love you I k
now that it is a lie and so does it. This doesn’t mean that you have a right to come to me any time. Snape
I need you to understand that with what happened I cannot feel anything but pain and hate. Hate towards
everyone and that includes you. I saw you fighting yourself… I saw you trying to turn your wand on yourself
when you were told to give me the mark.”
He looked at her and she looked down at him and realized that he had a tear sliding down his face.
“How can you look at me like that even after I did that to you?”
“Because I know that you didn’t do it.” She said to him.
“I was the reason it was done.” He said to her.
She turned away and looked at the fire at those words. Then she took a deep breath and looked back
at him. “It has taken me a long time to realize that I am not the only victim here. You and everyone
else that looked for me was too. I know that it doesn’t make it better for you but I know that you
suffered and I hate to say it but it makes me feel better.”
“There is something that you must know.” She said suddenly.
He looked at her in surprise and she sighed. “I was pregnant when the order found me. Not surprising if
you ask me. But what surprised me most was that it was yours.”
He stood and looked at her. “But there is no way. I cannot have children.”
“I know but he is yours.” She said to him.
“What do you mean he?” He asked her.
She looked down at her hands and sighed. I had a boy. I named him after you. At this moment he
is with The Krums.”
He pulled her from the chair and off her feet. “You are telling me that I have a son and you never
told me?”
She looked away from him and sighed. “Yes Snape that is what I am telling you.”
He dropped her to her feet and moved away form her. “We must get married.”
“I will not marry you. He is your son and I am his mother but that doesn’t mean that I will marry you.”
She said to him.
“It is the law. You had my child so now you must become my wife.” He said as she took a step back.
“I will not.” She said to him.
“You have no choice. As of this moment you are engaged to me to become my wife.” He said to her.
She held up her hand and showed him the ring the Krum had given her. “That law only applies if you a
ren’t already engaged.”
He spun around and looked at her. “You will become my wife.”
“I will not.” She said as she raced towards the door and opened it.
Before she could get out of it he grabbed her and pulled her back in. The door slammed and he pushed
her back into the chair she had been sitting in. “You have no say in this. We will be wed in three weeks.”
She threw her hands up and he bubble formed around her. “I will never marry you Snape. I can never
marry a man that raped me. Even if he was under a spell when he did it.”

I know Snape is alittle softy in the beginning of this but you will see a change in him when someone
special decides to coem for a visit. But wha twill happen when Hermione and Viktor see each other again
and what will happen if Rose realizes that she did love the git after all. Could she move past what he did
to love him? The only way to find out is to read more.
