Sibling Hilarity
Lucius was scowling. McGonagall had left him to look after Eileen until Hermione came, and what was worse, the Headmistress had just told him that a certain baby Lupin would be joining them.
Well, Sirius wasn\'t a baby any more; he was a few months older than Eileen. The first time Lucius had been baby sitting him a few years ago, he had give Lucius a fright. Sirius had been playing hide and seek with Eileen, but he conveniently forgot to go and find her. He had then changed his appearance to look like her and pretended that he had lost himself, just as Tonks had appeared in the fire to take him home.
Needless to say, Lucius had ranted on about it for hours to Hermione.
Eileen made a run for the door, but Lucius caught her around the waist and dumped her on the sofa.
\"Stay!\" he said like he was trying to train a dog. Eileen poked her tongue out. Lucius frowned, \"You\'re disgusting, you know that?\"
As if on cue, she sneezed and something that looked suspiciously like a bogy flew across the room. Lucius stepped away from her. \"Keep away from me!\" Eileen jumped off the sofa and advanced on him, \"No! Stay away!\"
Eileen moved forward, an evil grin splitting her face. Lucius moved to the other side of the coffee table. The girls’ finger moved up slowly towards her nose.
Lucius screamed, \"DON\'T YOU DARE, YOU HORRID LITTLE MONSTER!\"
Suddenly, Eileen burst into tears. Lucius stood there stunned; had he shouted at her that badly? Then the reason for her outburst became quite clear when she sobbed one word;
\"D-d-daddy!\"
Slowly, Lucius turned. Snape (As Lucius called him in his head. And aloud come to think of it) was glowering at him from the bedroom door. Apparently he had used to floo in the other room.
\"Daddy!\" Eileen carried on, running around Lucius to her father, \"He sh-sh-shouted at me!\"
She hiccoughed as Snape lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. Lucius crossed his arms over his chest.
\"I never!\" he said defensively.
Snape just sneered and turned back into the bedroom. Over his shoulder, Eileen poked her tongue out again.
When Sirius arrived, Eileen greeted him with a hug. She liked Sirius. He was funny and could change his face. He pulled away from her hug quickly, wiping himself off.
\"Ew!\" He complained, \"I\'m gonna get girl germs!\"
Eileen turned when she heard her mothers laugh. Eileen loved her mother very much, but she got jealous. Her daddy was always hugging her and Eileen wanted to push in and get attention.
Eileen wondered, some times, whether she would get more from her father if she was more like her mum; not that he ever said no to anything, and he often told her that she was the spitting image of her mother.
Eileen didn\'t see how this was true. Her mum had brown hair and she had black, although it was curly, and she had black eyes, as well.
Sirius poked something into Eileen’s hand. She looked down and found something that looked like a wand. He had one, too.
\"Auntie Annie gave it to me!\" he whispered excitedly. Eileen looked at him evilly.
\"Let’s have some fun!\"
\"Hurry up girls! You\'ll be late!\"
Annie hurried down the stairs of The Burrow, Pat hot on her heels. They always stayed with their Grandmother the night before they went back to Hogwarts. Their fathers were never organized.
\"Annie!\" Her grandmother fussed, \"Your hairs a mess! Go and put a comb through it!\"
\"I already have!\" Annie replied indignantly.
They finally got to Kings Cross and passed through the barrier onto the steamy platform. Annie and Pat found a place in an empty compartment and waved out the window until the platform disappeared around the corner.
They settled themselves in seats opposite each other. There was silence, and then Pat started to talk.
\"So, do you think we can win again this year? Quiditch I mean?\" She asked.
Annie smiled, \"Yeah! Course we can!\"
\"Well, maybe we could, if you would stop trying to get Malfoy’s attention for two seconds to hit a Bludger!\" Pat smirked.
\"I do not try and get his attention!\" Annie cried, \"He distracts me by doing those stupid flips!\"
It was true, Annie and Malfoy had been close in their first year, but then it had happened; they had both joined their house Quiditch teams. Annie and Pat had become Beaters and Lucius had become a Chaser.
Something had changed and the rivalry had become too much for their so-called \'friendship\' to bear. Pat called it pent up sexual tension, but Annie didn\'t find Lucius trying to knock her off her broom remotely sexual.
\"Well, that proves it!\" Pat smiled, \"He\'s trying to impress you!\"
Annie scowled at her cousin and turned away to look out of the window.
Hermione closed the wardrobe door, after finally unpacking her last item of clothing. She turned to find Severus standing in the door way.
\"What?\" She smiled. He was giving her one of those looks that she couldn\'t read.
He shook his head and moved further into the room. It was times like these that Hermione forgot the past six year had happened, and it was just like the time they were together before they were married.
Hermione jumped as a scream broke through the silence. Hermione and Severus both turned to the door as the shouting started.
\"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT? PUT IT DOWN! RIGHT NOW! NO! NO! DON\'T COME ANY CLOSER!\"
Hermione hurried over to the door and nearly fell on the floor laughing. Lucius was standing on the coffee table; Eileen and Sirius were pointing two, clearly fake, wands at him.
Severus looked over her shoulder and she could hear his snort of amusement. Finally, Hermione pulled herself together and went over to the two children. She grabbed the fake wands and waved them. They turned into a rat and a rubber chicken. Hermione waved her real wand and they both ran off towards Eileen bedroom. Eileen and Sirius chased them and disappeared into the other room.
Lucius jumped down from the table, panting.
\"How on earth...Who did they get them from?\" he asked.
\"I have no idea, but I want to find out so I can buy them flowers.\" Severus smirked
Lucius scowled and left the room. Hermione turned to Severus
\"You should try and tolerate him a bit more, you know.\" She told him.
\"I do tolerate him,\" Severus insisted as he approached her.
Hermione rolled her eyes, \"You know what I mean! Try and be nice to him.\"
He grabbed her arm and pulled her against him. His lips were so close that Hermione could feel his breath on her lips.
\"And what if I say no?\" he hissed, black eyes glinting.
\"Oooh...\" Hermione pretended to think, \"If you say no... You can kiss,\" She pecked him on the lips, \"good bye to this...\"
Hermione pushed him gently on the chest and moved into the bedroom.
Severus could hear Hermiones tinkling laughter as she left the room. She was a complete tease! She knew that they couldn\'t get some one to look after Eileen tonight, as most people were using this night to \'reunite\' while their kids were at Hogwarts, and Eileen had a knack of waking up in the middle of the night wandering into their room.
Growling, Severus followed Hermione, hoping that Sirius and Eileen were happy with their rubber animals and would not wish to disturb his very much need seduction time.
