Allesandra Challenges The Council
2 Years After Allesandra's Revenge
The four scouts blinked as the encampment came into view. At first they were unsure of what they found. Was it really Allesandra's army? They had been tasked with finding Allesandra and to bring her to the Wizarding World Council members. She had to be taken to task for her crimes.
Not everybody was eager to take the task. They viewed Allesandra's crimes as minor. All she was doing was eradicating the Ravagers. The damn Ravagers had wiped out almost half of their kind. In their reign of terror they killed over 40,000 witches and wizards. Before them witches and wizards outnumbered the muggles ten to one. Now...the muggles outnumber them. Of course in her quest of freeing the foothold the Ravagers had, she had taken out a good portion of the Muggle population as well. Slowly the Muggle numbers were going down. The Magic and Muggle communities were beginning to balance.
There was another reason why nobody jumped to take the task of retrieving Allesandra. Her army. And the loyalties to the dark forces that were around. The clans of Vampires were reputed to have sworn allegiance to the witch, as well as the Lychan tribes. And then of course her army. Not only did she have several powerful witches and wizards, but a sheer mass of Muggles. She had over 4,000 Muggles in her army, plus about 700 witches and wizards. Not to mention the twenty Griffins, the 500 Veela, the 600 goblins and 200 giants she had.
No one in their right minds would take the task. Approaching Allesandra was damn near impossible. First you had to get through the Giants who were standing gaurd. If you succeeded, then you had to deal with Goblins. If you got pas tthem, then you had to deal with Veela. If you were still able to get past them(and highly doubtful if you did) then you had to deal with the Griffins who were the last group of guard to get past. If you survived them, then you had to get past the Muggles. And last but not least, you had to deal with the witches and wizards. As it was said before, nobody could easily get to Allesandra.
"How do you think we should approach this?" one the scouts asked in a whisper. They were standing in forest, watching the Giants that were patrolling.
"The Giants won't understand us. All they know is that we don't look like we're part of the army and they'll crush us flat." a second spat out.
"We can wait for someone to arrive, perhaps to give the Giants some orders or something?"
"That might be a little easier."
"How do we explain our position?"
"We tell whoever we come into contact with, that the Wizarding Council wishes to have a word with Allesandra. They sent us--"
"Why--"a voice called out quietly behind the scouts, "did the Council send you?"
The four scouts turned around quickly and took in notice of not just one person, but 8 people. None of them had wands, but that didn't mean anything. Two of them had bows and arrows and were obviously hunting.
One of the scouts stepped forward, which caused a flurry of swords being pointed at them. He quickly raised his hands. "Please. We mean no harm. The Council has sent us a message that needs to be delivered to Allesandra Quartermaine."
"Can you give it to us?"
"No. It was given with a concealment charm. Only the receiver can receive it."
"Fucking magic," one of the eight snarled.
"Well we can safely say that these are Muggles," one of the scouts muttered to another.
"And I can safely say that you better keep your mouth shut,"One of the muggles snapped. She went quiet for a moment and the scout watched her as she seemed to make up her mind.
"Help us carry our catches back. And I'll deliver you four to Allesandra. And keep your wands where we can see them. Otherwise I'll get a Giant to smash you."
~~~~~~~30 Minutes Later~~~~~~~
"Ballina, how much further?"one of the scouts cursed. The scout was then hit on the head for using the former revered witch's name in vain.
"Quit your whining. We'll be at the Main Camp soon.." one of the Muggles snapped.
It was obviously going to take some time to get to Allesandra. The Giants they spotted earlier were protecting the smaller encampments of the Goblins. After the Goblin
encampment, it was the Veela encampment. After the Veela there were a mixture of Muggles and Witches and Wizards, gaurded by about 5 Griffins. Right now they were going through the larger encampments of Muggles and Magic. They had stopped at each one, dropping off the animals that had been hunted, lessening their load.
"No wonder people have hard time finding her,"the younger scout grumbled from the back. "They get lost trying to get through all the other camps."
The two elder scouts exchanged a grimace and kept their tongues to themselves as the Muggle hunters rounded on the two youngers ones, asking if they wanted to become food for the Goblins, who had no problem eating human meat. That soundly shut them up. About five minutes later, the group stopped dead.
They were at the main encampment. In front of them were several tents, all of them different colors and each one with a couple gaurds. Five tents were the color white and had a goblin guard in front. A couple other tents were the color of silver and each had a Griffin standing gaurd. There were a couple red tents with Veela gaurds, and a green tent with a blind Basilisk gaurd, and a large tent that had the colors of gold, black and red. Standing guard were three Griffins.
"What do the color's mean?"one of the elder scouts asked a hunter, curiosity getting the best of him.
"The silver tents have the Healers in them, the white tents have the top Muggle warriors." The hunter said quickly. "The red tents are the vampires that have decided to travel with us, the green tent has a Parseltongue in there, in case you haven't guess by what's gaurding it, and well the one with the three Griffin's in Allesandra's tent." The hunter quieted as a Healer had stepped out and quickly approached them.
"Healer Demetris, these four were sent by the Council. They need to speak with Allesandra."
The Healer frowned and looked over the four scouts,nodded tightly and then disappeared into the large tent. Moments later she came out, holding the flap open, indicating that they could go in. Which they did.
An interesting situation greeted them when they walked in. Another Healer was kneeling beside Allesandra, who was on the floor, leaning against a bed. And in her arm was some sort of injection type contraption. The Healer was slowly injecting it, making Allesandra band her head against the post of her bed,letting out a small moan.
"Fucking rush,"the witch said, her voice gutteral.
"Considering the amount I'm injecting, I'm not surprised."the Healer countered.
"Lay off Perssena. The old amount wasn't working anymore."
The Healer just shook her head, stood and helped Allesandra stand. The red hair witch turned to the scouts. The oldest took note that her green eyes were no longer green...they were almost black with little specks of green. "The Veela are wondering when they go after some more dragons."
"We have enough to last a season. They can wait until we hit Taverna. A lot of dragons there." The witch then turned to them. "Names first please."
"Rorris."
"Farucke."
"Viscus."
"I'm Lamas,"the youngest of the four said softly.
Allesandra pointed to the eldest, Rorris. "Speak."
"We have come at the urging of the Council."
"Do I look like I give a right shit? What the fuck do they want?"
"You."
"Why?"
"For your crimes."
An eyebrow raised. Arms crossed. "Really?" her voice suddenly went cold. "And what crimes were those?"
"For the destruction of the Muggle Villages of Taro, Farringtona, Lasaya, and Gregana."
"They got in my way."
"The Council does not see it that way. You purposely killed Muggles in order to draw out the Ravagers."
"Yes I did. But those Muggles happened to be just as bad as the Ravagers. Did you know at each one of those villages, I interrupted them hanging or about to behead several witches and wizards? The Muggles are starting to rise up against magic." The witch smiled grimly. "I'm simple trying to squash it. We can't have those simple people rebelling against everything we've done now can we?"
"Your arguments against us are useless Madame Quartermaine. We have been tasked to make sure you come. And come with us you shall. We will not go back to the Council with empty hands."
Allesandra smiled. "Well we can't have that now can we?"
"So you are willing to come with us?"
"No."
Rorris coughed. "Excuse me?"
"Must I repeat myself? I said no. I will not go with you. I will not defend myself to the Coucil. To the so called Wisest Witches And Wizards. Wisest. Bah. Foolish if you ask me."
"How dare you insult the greatest of our kind!" Lamas spat out furiously.
"Greatest? They are not the greatest. The Council is nothing but a mockery of our kind. They think they can impose their laws on this world? For the love of Ballina, they can't. You will go back to your Council with empty hands, because I will not go."
"Then we will have to take you." Rorris said bravely.
Allesandra stared at the eldest scout. And then...she burst out laughing. And laughed for a good solid five minutes.
"You think you can take me by force?" Allesandra finally gasped out between gusts of laughter. The scouts shifted amongst each other uneasily. "Oh please..."
Rorris sighed. "I did not want to do this.."he took out his wand and pointed it at Allesandra. "I will use our gift against you Madame Quartermaine."
Her laughter quickly subsided. "Really?" She looked past the scouts and smiled. "I can safely say that you dear men will not be able to use your gifts against me."
Before he could cast anything, he felt something hit his head and all he could see was blackness.
~~~~~~~~~~An hour later~~~~~~~~
"What...."
"Rorris!"
"Lamas?"
"Yes."
"What..."
"Well well,"Allesandra's cold voice pierced his hazy mind. "Welcome back to the living Rorris. Open those beautiful eyes of yours."
As he did, a pair of hands grabbed him,and roughly picked him up from the ground and set him down on his knees,where the other three were. All around him were other witches and wizards, wands pointed directly at them. In front of him, was Allesandra, her sword in her hands.
"Your Council will soon realize the error in sending you after me. They will soon realize that it will be foolish to go against me. I aim at putting our people in power again. The Ravagers took our status away. I aim on bringing that back. And if I have to kill to do that, I will. In fact I have. If improving the stature of our people is a crime, if protecting the lifeblood our people is criminal then yes I am guilty of those crimes. But I don't regret it. Every life I have taken has been to secure our kind's way of life."
"Your view on this is wrong."Lamas cried out. "We can regain our stature as you call it without killing."
"Is that so? How? How can we prove ourselves dominant and powerful when we can't hold our own against savages like the Ravagers? How can we show the world that we are the ones that are to be respected and feared, not the other way around, how can we do this without killing the ones that prevent us from doing just that?" Allesandra shook her head. "My goals for our kind cannot be achieved in peace. War is the only way."
"The Council will not agree." Rorris said quietly.
"The Council will not be around to disagree. I will destroy the Coucil. One by one. Starting... with you four." She then handed her sword to another witch who stepped forward. "Kill them. Send their heads to the Council with my regards."
~~~~~~~~~The Next Day~~~~~~
"Vienna. We have news from the scouts we sent."
A black haired witch looked up from the potion she was brewing to take in notice of the messenger before her. He was pale, almost a shade of green to his skin.
"Yes? The news?"
"Dead."the messenger croaked out. "Their heads were sent to us, with a message stating they were the first and that the Council will be joining them."
Vienna paused. "So I believe Allesandra wants a war?" She turned away from the cauldron. "Then it is a war she will get."
The four scouts blinked as the encampment came into view. At first they were unsure of what they found. Was it really Allesandra's army? They had been tasked with finding Allesandra and to bring her to the Wizarding World Council members. She had to be taken to task for her crimes.
