“I’ll Stand By You”
Katie gasped as Remus pulled her tightly into his embrace. His lips descended quickly and took hers by surprise. Katie slumped forward on weak knees. Remus seized her closer, his left hand tangling in her deep blue locks. She clutched at his shirt with quivering hands. Finally he pulled back, leaving her panting slightly for air.
“Why…?” she whispered, eyes glazed over. Remus just smiled and ran his hand through her hair.
“I wanted to.”
A soft smile played across her face. She lifted her hands away from his shirt and wrapped them around his neck tightly. Her forehead fell to rest in the crook of his neck. He squeezed her tighter and began to sway slightly. A hush fell over the room before a slow dance blasted from the speakers.
OH, WHY YOU LOOK SO SAD?
TEARS ARE IN YOUR EYES

DON\'T BE ASHAMED TO CRY

“Do you want to dance?”
Katie lifted her head at his question, a brilliant smile on her lips. He took that as her answer and took her hand to lead her to the dance floor. As soon as the wooden floor was beneath her feet she was in his arms again. They began to sway to the music, lost in each other’s arms.

Remus pulled her closer, his head resting on top of hers. He began to sing lightly to the music, making her smile brighter.

“Will you really?” she questioned softly. Remus pulled back to stare at her, a question in his eyes.
“Will you stand by me through everything, and never let me be hurt?”
Remus laughed slightly and nodded. Tears of happiness came to Katie’s eyes and she launched herself into his arms. Remus just smiled into her hair.

“I think I’ve fallen in love with you Katie Slayer,” he murmured. Katie grinned into his shirt and whispered back:
“I think I’ve fallen in love with you too Remus Lupin.”
Remus pulled back slightly and looked into her eyes. A shuttering sigh slipped past Katie’s lips as Remus bent down and kissed her softly. She pressed harder against him, causing their kiss to become more passionate.

“We did a good job, huh Mirei?” Moe smiled and gave a high five to her partner in crime. Mirei beamed at the kissing couple and nodded.
