Part III: I Love You

Once upstairs Harry and Draco sit down on the bed saying nothing for the longest time. Finally Draco speaks up. “ Harry I had a special evening planned for us tonight, but I have a feeling that it’s going to get ruined by Weasley or maybe even Hermione. “ Now the real reason I want to talk to the four of you. I would like to have you four officially join the Order. You are all now eighteen. Old enough to take care of yourselves. You’re all capable of doing what is needed for this. “ Dumbledore looks at the four in turn.
“ Really sir? That’s wonderful. “ Hermione is ecstatically surprised.

Draco and Harry left without a word to anyone else. It had been an hour since they went in. “ Harry do you still want to do dinner tonight? “ asks Draco as they walk back to their room.
“ I still want to do dinner tonight if you do. What do you want to do till ten o’clock? I can’t think of anything. “ Says Harry as they walk into their room.
“ Well we could stay in here alone and talk about stuff. Or we could go downstairs and hangout with your friends. “
“ Don’t you still need to fill out the emancipation papers? “ asks Harry.
“ Actually I do. I better go talk to Dumbledore about them. Do you want to go with me? “

Draco goes to Dumbledore’s office and knocks.

After lunch both young men, Hermione and Ron go upstairs to Harry and Draco’s room. They sit and start talking, “ So mate what really happened at the Dursley’s? “ Ron asks looking at Harry while both him and Draco are sitting on the bed and Ron and Hermione are sitting in separate chairs.
Harry proceeded to tell them the entire story as an owl was on its way to their very spot. It was an odd owl that only Draco was familiar with and was genuinely surprised when it landed in front of them waiting to be relieved of the letter on its leg.
Ron was the first to break the silence, “ Who is it from? “
“ Its from my father. That is his owl, and I think I know exactly what he wants. I can tell you right now that it most likely is not good. “ Draco walked over to the owl and untied the letter. He opened it and read it quietly to himself.

Everyone got up and headed for the office that Dumbledore had occupied earlier. But he is not there. They decided to go find Ron’s father or mother and demand they speak to Dumbledore immediately.
