The Thoughts of Harry Potter
Author Note: Chapter three is finally posted, sorry about the long wait... even though it's not really that long... I have been working hard on a co-written fiction between me and my best friend, so look for that to be posted as soon as he sends me BACK chapter 1.
I guess I could just post chapter two and confuse you all... Though that might be a little mean...
Thank you for all the wonderful reviews! I didn't know if this story would be okay with all of you out there, and I'm glad for those of you who continue to read it!
Oh and I am still in search of a BETA. Please would someone let me know how to get one, Sportychick3571@comcast.net if you'll help me out with that!

Harry sighed and stared at the ceiling in his bedroom. His thoughts were filled with the many questions he should have asked himself before starting this "relationship" with Malfoy. His mind was betraying everything he had thought was right and this was seemingly against everything he believed in.
Harry was a Slytherin; he had many different Slytherin qualities, including his many broken rules and his fairly cunning and very sneaky domineer. He had yet to question why in his first year the Sorting Hat had wanted to place him in the Slytherin house, because to be perfectly honest with himself, he could understand it perfectly. The hat was right, Slytherin would have helped him on his way to greatness, and there was a strong possibility if he was in Slytherin he wouldn't have faced so many years of ridicule, sham and hurt from the rest of the school. It would simply be placed into the fact he was a Slytherin and that was what Slytherins did.
Harry did however, posses many different qualities one would find in a Gryffindor. He had never betrayed his friends and he had yet to fail to show his bravery. He had taken on Voldemort in some fashion almost every year in Hogwarts, minus his third year when he had met Sirius and discovered the truth about his innocent Godfather.
But Harry was beginning to wonder if lying to get information from a Death Eater was considered a "Gryffindor Quality". It certainly wasn't honest. Heck he was toying with the boy's feelings and he wasn't exactly telling him the truth. He defiantly wasn't being very loyal to Malfoy. I mean it was his worst enemy for God sakes. He did however find it very brave. He knew that if Blaise (or any other Slytherin for that matter) found out that Harry was using him, he would find himself in the hospital wing from now until Christmas; and that was only if he got lucky.
Harry sighed and turned over on his side, casting a glance out of the window near his bed. He watched in silence as a tiny brown owl flew over the forest and then disappeared into the black night.
He smiled slightly thinking once again about how beautiful the night really was. How much he loved the calm of a quiet clear night, when you could look up and see the stars so clearly you could reach out your window and touch them, or so it seemed. How you didn't have to worry about anything as you simply looked up at the stars and thought about the beauty and wonder that life gave you.
It was at this moment, Harry decided to take a walk out onto the grounds to his favorite spot by the lake, and simply watch the stars. It was his favorite place to sit and think and maybe it could help him sort out everything that was in his mind at this very moment.
Harry quietly slipped out of bed and into his oversized Muggle clothing, got into his trunk and pulled out the Marauder's Map and his invisibility cloak. He slipped out of the portrait hole and smiled when the Fat Lady grumbled something along the lines of...
"Potter, you better not get caught because I am not dealing with an angry McGonagall in the morning for letting you out again."
Harry just smiled and moved quickly and silently through the halls of the overly quite castle. He thought he was home free when he reached the doors when he heard footsteps behind him, he quickly shuffled as close as possible to the wall and held his breath. He slowly released it when he saw that it was just Draco, patrolling the halls like a good Prefect should. Even though Harry didn't want the boy following him to of the castle to his favorite spot, he knew that since they were dating now, he wouldn't take points.
Harry waited until he heard Draco's steps faded away before slowing pushing open the door and slipping out into the cool September evening. It was a beautiful night for the beginning of fall however and Harry was thankful for that.
He made his way across the grounds and sat underneath his favorite oak. Taking off the cloak he looked up at the stars and continued to think, the air giving his mind some breathing room as well as time for his thoughts to spread out and organize.
His mind wandered to a new thought that he should have thought of long before. What was gong to happen with the PDA? Harry had nothing against personal displays of affection, heck he was a best friend to two of the most physical couples in the school (Ron and Hermione, Dean and Seamus) but what about him and Malfoy? Hugging the boy and holding his hand, those were nothing, but Harry had yet to have his first real kiss with a boy and he sure as hell didn't want it to be with Malfoy.
Harry couldn't help but shudder slightly at the thought of everything he had endured today in the world of being a Malfoy boy toy. He was cuddled, snuggled and Malfoy's arm was practically surgically attached to his waist. He had even sat at the Slytherin table for dinner, just to appease his "boyfriend". It was only a matter of time before things between the two got more physical and a lot more sentimental.
Harry wasn't sure if he could pretend during things like that. He had managed to keep up his acting today while seeming completely bottom and completely oblivious and blushing madly. All in all he had done a pretty good job, or at least good enough to keep everyone believing that he really was head over heels for Malfoy.
Harry shivered and wrapped the cloak a little tighter over his shoulders, staring up at the stairs, and breathing the fresh night air. His thoughts drifted back to whether this was the right thing to do or not, he still wasn't so sure. It didn't seem right, it was to much like a hurtful lead on. It was bound to cause heartbreak and it was bound to...
Harry had fallen asleep while he had been laying under the tree, he had woken up the next morning with a terrible feeling that something was happening that he had missed, something horrible something that he couldn't explain.
He jumped up and sprinted towards the school, the feeling of dread increasing with every step closer he made, and with every breath he took.
He threw open the doors of the castle and sprinted into the Great Hall to see everyone lying on the floor, dead. The ground was covered in corpses and blood. There were marks on the wall where the curses had hit and the banners from all the houses were on fire.
In the middle of it all stood Voldemort, smiling and laughing, his red snake like eyes gleaming with pride and happiness. He had taken over Hogwarts and there was nothing anyone could do about it now. In front of him stood the ghosts of Cedric, Sirius, his mother and his father. They were all blaming him, saying if only he had done something for the order, then none of this would have happened, all of his friends wouldn't be dead.
Harry woke up with a start a moment later, breathing heavy and scar burning, Voldemort was planning something, and Harry knew it.
Unfortunately, he knew of only one way to find out.
I guess I could just post chapter two and confuse you all... Though that might be a little mean...
