Notes: This is a Draco\\Hermione fanfiction so don’t get your ideas twisted in some weird threesome hm? This is also my first Harry Potter fanfiction by this I’m not asking you to be gentle because I will accept any review as long as it’s constructive. As I have said in my SEE YA note I’ll be staying away from Monday 21st ‘till the 24th of July, therefore there will be no updates.

Warning: This fanfiction will contain heavy swearing, sex and violence. It is not fit for every reader I just hope you realize that you’re not reading just a romance. I’m making it as realistic as possible(in a magical world) and yet modeling it in what I would like it to be.

LAST TIME:

“You know? I think I’ll take the risk and accept Hermione’s advances. I mean, wouldn’t it be nice to have a Gryffindor head over heals on me, one of the golden trio nonetheless, I mean it’s not like I went for it because in reality she did,” said Blaise creating a cover on what he intended to be a serious relationship between his cousin and him, however a relationship far from romantic.

“Do as you wish and don’t worry, I’ll keep Slytherins away from her only to see Potters sad face though. I on the other hand would like to know how that Lestaw is related to the Snape family,” said Draco gaining unknowingly a firm glare from Blaise.

§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§ Platform 9¾ – 10:50 a.m. §-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§

Things had gone by normally and after clearing with her brother, Hermione had found out that if she was to expose herself in such a way without Dumbledore’s protection then there could have been very little to do and she would have been in Voldemort’s hands. Nothing had been decided behind her back, Lestaw just didn’t know what to say to make her come home without spilling the truth to Blaise and Draco. Blaise hadn’t troubled him that much because they were after all his cousins, Malfoy had been the problem. From that day on they had decided to keep everything a secret. She had also received a letter from Blaise where he told her how he had told Draco things had gone that day. It was his version, even though Hermione didn’t like it very much she decided that being paired up with her cousin was better than being paired up with another Slytherin like Crabbe or Goyle. Disgusted by the sole thought Hermione stepped out of the witched limousine. She soon adverted everybody’s gaze at her new appearance. She stood in al her full stance wearing her Gryffindor uniform and her prefect badge. Her brothers soon followed, however they both wore black wizard outfits and dark green cloaks with the initials of their names on them. Hermione noticed a crowd surround her, anxiety began to flow in her when she suddenly felt Lestaw and Ewan each take hold of one of her hands guiding her towards the train. Platform 9¾ was filled with rustling new years, this year there were twice more than the preceding years. The second years that knew her since last year as prefect started murmuring while all the first years mobbed her, Lestaw and Ewan. Through all the crowd Hermione was able to make out Harry, Ron, Ginny and the others. Dragging her siblings along with her she moved to meet them.

“Hermione!” shouted Ginny running towards her and holding her in a strong embrace, “I’m so happy to see you, I feel so bad that I couldn’t be there yesterday when you came to visit but you know how my parents are, they insisted I go to my brother and keep him company since they couldn’t go.”

“Ah it’s really okay Ginny,” tranquilized Hermione, then she heard Lestaw tighten his grasp on her hand and she finally noticed Ron and Harry’s curious expressions. Turning towards the two boys Hermione smiled.

“Guys, these are Ewan to my right and Lestaw to my left,” began introducing Hermione, “Lestaw, Ewan these are the friends that I told you about I’m sure with all the description and photos you’ll be able to match the names,” finished introducing Hermione. The whistle of the train interrupted them as the train began hissing. All of them boarded and headed to the same compartment. However Hermione was soon called up by professor McGonagall along with her brothers and Ron. Harry could only spare Ron an unknowing glance as the young Weasley walked behind the two big boys and Hermione.

Ewan knocked three times before entering the compartment. There stood McGonagall with a grim look, “Good morning my dear Gryffindors, I’d like you to have a seat.”

Hermione knew instantly that this was going to be a long ride.

§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§ Hogsmeade – Train Station §-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§

Draco jumped off the train and marched his way towards the carriages that would bring them to Hogwarts, he was in search of the nicest one so that he could ride comfortably, however his plans were ruined when he heard the voice of McGonagall calling his name and turning around he was met with his fellow prefects of each house and a new face beside Granger’s, the same face he had seen two days before at Hogsmeade. Sighing inwardly, Draco walked towards the group of people, as he got closer he could also notice a badge pinned on Lestaw’s black outfit.

“Mr. Malfoy, You’ll be joining the Gryffindor prefects in their carriage. Where is Miss Mistific?” asked professor McGonagall inquiring Draco about his fellow Slytherin prefect. However young Malfoy just arched his shoulders answering silently to the question, luckily for their house she appeared seconds later with a distraught look. McGonagall then proceeded into assigning carriages for all of them. Hermione, Ewan, Liberty and Draco were directed towards a big ebony carriage pulled by beautiful Thestrals, their white eyes staring almost through them, even the ones who couldn’t see the magnificent magical creatures.

Several minutes later they were all flying towards Hogwarts when Liberty Mistific decided to pose the question herself and Draco Malfoy were wondering.

“Who is he?” asked Liberty to Hermione since she already knew her.

“My name is Ewan, I’m new at Hogwarts for I’ve studied at Beauxbatons for these last five years. I am a Gryffindor, sorted yesterday in front of the Headmaster himself, since Weasley was appointed prefect during a delicate situation he has been lifted from his charge to give me the place,” said Ewan with a tone that enchanted Liberty and angered Draco. However Draco remembered perfectly his encounter with Lestaw and the surname he had been given.

“I thought I knew you as Lestaw Snape,” said Draco with a suspicious manner knowing perfectly well what he was running into when he ventured off his boundaries.

“Malfoy you don’t know what you’re talking about!” shouted suddenly Hermione casting silence in the carriage for not even Malfoy had been expecting such a reaction from her, the last time she’d been so aggressive with him was back in third year.

“I will however be presented today after the sorting hat in the Great Hall, there you will clear all your doubts,” said Ewan turning around and looking out the window.

The whole rest of the ride Hermione had held hands with Ewan both looking out through opposite windows, Liberty had tried to initiate a conversation with Ewan but was met with only nods and smiles for he never voiced a reply, this disheartened Liberty and she directed her attention to her teen witch magazines. Draco, however, try as he might couldn’t keep his eyes off Hermione and her new appearance. Her hair for instance wasn’t left loose and bushy, actually it was neatly tied up into a high pony tail with her curls nicely hanging from the crystal-butterfly shaped restrainer, they were very well arranged so they looked like live ivy curling over her small shoulders with their new more natural looking color, amber. Her once chocolate brown eyes had turned a lighter shade disclosing their profound tawny awareness, all her knowledge could be shown in each brownish-gold blink of her eyes. Her hair bangs were cut perfectly over her eyebrows. He could feel himself growing anxious every time Ewan tightened his grip on her hand. A hot wave flowed from his chest to every finger tip. He soon acknowledged the sensation and labeled it as coarse jealousy material. He felt uncomfortably angry with such a realization however knew better than to lie to himself by ignoring it; he would simply have to deal with it in the only way he knew, with cold detachment. Closing his eyes Draco sighed letting himself realize one thing, he needed to talk to Blaise about this new turn out on events.

§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§ Hogwarts – Great Hall §-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§

Harry, Ron and everybody else was there. They had even let Lestaw join their group. Hermione was glad they had, she then proceeded into sitting down at her place. It felt almost impossible, Hogwarts history along the wizard world was about to change and she was one of the three factors to make such thing happen. As they all sat down the headmaster Albus Dumbledore silenced the second years and up. Soon the main doors burst open to reveal a happy professor McGonagall strolling inside with her big pointy hat, on her trails numerous first years mainly scared above all. The future witches and wizards scrutinized in amazed wonder every detail of the great hall trying to let it all in at once, Hermione couldn’t help but laugh as she reminisced back in time, five years before she had felt so overcome by the wonders surrounding her that she had had to hide it behind her know-it-all façade. When the whole crowd fell silent and the sorting hat had finished his song, professor McGonagall proceeded into calling the names. At every mention of a house everybody clapped, for some the clapping was heart felt and more noisy while for others it was limited to a formal clapping. When the last first year was directed to his Hufflepuff table, the Headmaster stood up and beckoned for attention.

“To all first years, my most heart felt welcome. To the known faces welcome back. This year as always I am glad to introduce this year’s head boy and head girl, miss Violet Lute from Ravenclaw and mister Alrod Noir also from Ravenclaw,” began Dumbledore leaving a couple of minutes for all the students to clap to the couple that would impartially be heads, “I’m sorry to announce to the first years that it is true, the Forbidden Forest is forbidden even though there are many stories about breaking such rules,” he said this while looking at the Gryffindor table and particularly at Harry and Ron since Hermione was sitting at the prefects’ table, “to the second years up I repeat for the umpteenth time that it is forbidden,” said Dumbledore with little conviction in his tone. When Dumbledore took word for the second time his tone of voice suddenly became very serious, “for the first time, since Hogwarts has been founded, a modification of role assignments involving the prefects has been taken. As most of you already know the gentleman prefect of Gryffindor for last year had been Ronald Weasley. However since the precarious situation under which this decision had been made is securely solved, this year we have a new male prefect and here’s where the big news stands,” Dumbledore took a moment to summon Ewan, Hermione and Lestaw in front of him where the sorting hat had stood but a some minutes before, “this summer has brought big news as you may all know, he-who-must-not-be-named has proven his existence and plans. However it has also been brought to my attention another important fact that for decades had been kept secret to everybody. One of the founders of Hogwarts who was believed to have disappeared without notice of his whereabouts, is not truly extinguished,” Dumbledore then spared one glance at the now silent and scared faces of the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students and while Gryffindors glared Slytherins smirked in anticipation wondering who had been the one selected to destitute Ronald Weasel.

“I’m speaking of Salazar Slytherin’s descendants that are here with us today,” the headmaster began introducing by beckoning the three twins to take of their capes revealing to everybody Hermione Granger as she was known to the world and two identical boys that shared no little resemblance to Hermione herself, “Salazar Lestaw Slytherin IX, Hermione Leticia Slytherin and Salazar Ewan Slytherin X. They are as you may have noticed twins. Yesterday mister Lestaw and mister Ewan have been sorted both into Gryffindor house too. As I was saying, from this year until the end of his scholarship at Hogwarts, our Gryffindor prefect will be Salazar Ewan Slytherin. That I believe is all the news you’ll be getting tonight. Tuck in!” smiled Dumbledore sitting down and waiting for all the students to begin their meal. However everybody was occupied staring at the three siblings as one of them made his way back to Gryffindor table to sit in front of Harry Potter himself while the other two walked back to their prefect table along with the other prefects and the head boy and girl.

Draco who was sitting in front of Hermione was barely capable of keeping his mouth shut. She had changed indeed over the summer, after decades a Malfoy sat with not only one but two Slytherins. Smiling inwardly Draco began eating.

For the first time since she had become a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Great Hall had gone through a dinner completely silent. Knowing she was one of the causes of the noiseless reunion she was thankful that Ewan had decided to wait for her to finish eating. She finished sipping the last drops of pumpkin juice and waited a few seconds before excusing herself and standing up to walk away.

“I think it would be best if I was to go to my chambers,” said Hermione and turned towards her brother expectantly. Ewan rose from his seat and took his sister’s arm.

§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§ Hogwarts – Next Morning §-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§

Hermione woke to the brilliant sunrays that filtered through small cracks of her curtains. The small rays got stronger as they hit a golden border portrait of what Ewan had assumed being one of Dumbledore’s ancient relatives, he had insisted on the ancient part so much that she had found herself not wanting to let go of him and his humorous self, until he reminded her that tomorrow would have been the real first day of school. Smiling at the remembrance Hermione rose from her bed and wore her robe. Every flapping step towards the bathroom made her wish she was home at the castle. It had felt so reassuring in a situation that was to the least quite mind blowing, now that she had the opportunity to begin everything once again she knew she would have rather stayed at home. Laughing at her non scholastic thoughts, Hermione began pondering. From bookworm to spotlight dependant, what a change. She emerged several minutes after wearing her Gryffindor uniform and her golden badge.

This is getting unnerving, with each step I can feel my heart beating faster and I wonder why. Then I remember, I’m miss Slytherin, that’s why! I’m just anxious, stupid anxiety! I feel like screaming bloody curses to the first one I meet. Yet I don’t know why I restrain myself. Walking across my floor to the boy’s section I knock on my brother’s door and moments later someone opens the door yet it’s not my brother, it’s...no, it could never be! It’s Malfoy! The nasty pure- SHIT! Now why would Malfoy be in my brother’s room? Suddenly a light bulb turns on in the nasty area of my mind.

“What are you doing here Malfoy?” I ask as coolly as I can manage without bursting out what I really wanted to yell at him.

“Good morning to you too Slytherin,” he replies with a smirk that I so want to clean off his face. I drown my belligerent instinct and I walk past him inside the room. Why?

“Tell me something Malfoy?” I begin and then turn to him to meet his nod, “seriously, are you trying to hit on my brother creeping into his room at such an hour in the morning?” I ask with as much nonchalance as I can manage even though I have this really big necessity to blow on his face in sheer laughter, yet I once again restrain myself; again, why? When I’m done checking on my self control I take a glance of my opponent only to meet his white face, if you can actually get whiter than that without needing blood transfusion. “Because I can tell you right away that he prefers girls, brown haired girls at that,” I finish tantalizing and immediately after Ewan is back in the room.

“Excuse her words Draco, I’m sure you understand she’s just being a sister,” said Ewan walking out of his bathroom with only a big dark green towel wrapped around his waist. To this Hermione felt the urge to voice her remonstrations and so she did, totally ignoring Malfoy and their previous exchange...well, her insult.

“You’re still not ready?! I thought you were fixing your hair or something! I swear! If we were to live with the Grangers and share only one bathroom...”

“You what? You’re not trying to threaten me are you little miss? I’m older than you!” he reminded her. Draco was enjoying the scenario, it wasn’t everyday that he could witness someone silencing Granger-uhm, Hermione. He thought, in anticipated disappointment, that she wouldn’t dare reply. Yet...

“Just because you were born two minutes before me that doesn’t make you older, who knows, maybe I was the first to develop into a fetus while you were only a molecule!” she retorted with vehemence, then pulling out her wand she pointed it at him.

The next thing Draco saw was Hermione whispering an unknown charm(unknown to him) and directing it to Ewan. Seconds later his new ‘friend’ was wearing his Gryffindor uniform and his cloak.

“Now Malfoy, be a good ‘Slytherin’ and make sure big brother here doesn’t get lost in the halls, I’ve got more important things to do than waste my time with narcissistic boys. Merlin only knows that the sole things that demonstrate we’re relatives are our faces and our surnames!” bellowed Hermione as she exited Ewan’s room and walked towards the Great Hall mustering some more chosen words during her travel.

“Is she always like this?” both boys asked, they looked at each other and started laughing until Draco mustered the question that had troubled his thoughts.

“Why are you in Gryffindor?”

“Well, it’s in our blood. Godric Gryffindor was a great, great uncle of ours. Salazar Slytherin’s wife was Leticia Gryffindor,” said Ewan picking his books and walking towards the entrance.

“But she was an animagus!” exclaimed the young Malfoy at hearing about this side of the story.

“Yeah I know. However I’ve never manifested the gift so I think I’m quite clear of it, I will have to learn,” smirked Ewan as he opened the door beckoning Draco to follow him towards their first class, “Uhm, what do we have first?” asked Ewan looking at Draco with a lost gaze.

“You know? For being Ex-Granger’s brother you do ask dumb enough questions,” said Draco grinning, “you have double potions with us Slytherin oh wise Gryffindor prefect,” muttered Draco gaining a Slytherin elbow on his side.

“You think you’re so wise Malfoy, ha? Then I wonder how it is that a Gryffindor beats you in all the subjects except potions,” joked Ewan leaving Draco behind in a stunned awe. How did he know that?

§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§ Great Hall - Breakfast §-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§-§

As Hermione entered he great hall she could feel all eyes on her, yet to her great surprise this time the sneering ones came from her fellow Gryffindor table. Where the fuck had loyalty gone? Were all those glorious Gryffindor characteristics only a pull? Aw come on! Frowning Hermione headed to the prefect table when she suddenly saw Lestaw sitting alone. Maybe today she’d dump Ewan. Lestaw seemed quite in need of company, after all Ewan had Malfoy now. Sitting down beside her sibling she positioned her head so as to be able to see her brother’s face.

“Don’t tell me you’re giving up already,” she mustered a couple of seconds later. Things had changed and it was no use trying to make them back into what once was. They simply had to evolve along with the situation. True friends stick together and since she saw her ex friends all sitting together on their own disassociating her nice little brother, it was their loss.

“Well they haven’t exactly made it easy you know,” came Lestaw’s calm voice.

“So? Is this how you plan to react to every tough obstacle? Grow a spine Slytherin!” yelled Hermione gaining some attention...well, all the presents’ attention.

In the mean time Draco and Ewan...

“We’re nearing the great hall, I suggest we don’t let on the fact that we’re in good terms. I don’t think Slytherins will accept me as a Gryffindor, they’ll probably think of me as a traitor. However there is no need for you to endanger your reputation,” admitted Ewan letting his former grin turn into a serious and impassive glaze. Malfoy could only nod and walk in before him. However as soon as Ewan entered, Hermione’s yell could be heard echoing in the great hall.

The first reaction was total silence. Then the head boy and girl spoke.

“Hermione, I doubt you want to receive a detention for such a reaction so I suggest you discuss it later on in your own private chambers,” spoke Violet harshly.

“And I suggest you mind your own bloody business if you know what’s good for you. If you thought you could speak to Granger like that and receive obedience, then I suggest you now think it over,” came Hermione’s calm response.

“How dare you? Detention to you and your brother, seriously, I would have expected more from an intelligent Gryffindor like yourself Hermione, but seeing that you’re nothing but a slimy Slytherin it’s quite clear now!” came Violet’s uneasy pronouncement.

“Well, that’s a stupid enough assertion coming from a Ravenclaw!” spoke an anonymous Slytherin gaining all his fellow house mates’ grin. Hermione however couldn’t for the life of her let such an insult come to her fathers’ name. They knew nothing about her family, not even the sorting hat knew everything about them and he had existed since the building of Hogwarts.

“No Lute, how dare YOU insult a Slytherin? You know nothing about my family. Think you’re so intelligent Ravenclaw? Does this surge of power fill your half muggle blood? Does insulting my heritage make you feel witch enough?” came Hermione’s harsh response which gained a threatening silence, “Well even if it does, forget it! You’re not worthy of pronouncing my name, vulture.”

“Now come dear sister, I believe that is enough, don’t you agree Malfoy?” came Ewan’s voice as he walked closer up to Hermione and grabbed her cold hand.

“I quite agree my dear friend,” responded Draco and successively smirked and glared at his fellow house mates beckoning them to stand and walk behind him as he headed towards the brothers,

“There’s no need to vent on our poor vult-I mean head girl for our house mates’ absence of spinal cord and for their hypocrisy. Come now, we have potions first,” said Ewan stretching out a hand for Hermione to hold and she did. Taking his offer she stopped only to grab Lestaw’s and they walked out of the great hall followed by all the Slytherins leaving the other three houses in the great hall.

As the bell rang everybody began filing out from the great hall in complete silence. The funny yet dramatic fact was that today was only the first one.
