Forbidden

Chapter 3

She felt a strong hand grip her arm and pull her to one side.

"Are you okay Ginny, you seem a little out of sorts today." It was Harry; he was asking her in those beautiful kind tones of his.

"Oh, I'm fine. Um... nervous about the new year I suppose."

"This year isn't too bad, don't forget I'll always be there to ask Hermione how to do it and help you!" he laughed and Ginny did the same. She still loved Harry, but not in the way she had before. He was so kind and giving, always looking out for her. She had never forgotten that he had almost died saving her life in her first year.

"Come on dears, time to get on the train" It was her mother.

They boarded the train and settled themselves in a compartment, saying hello to all their friends, including Colin Creevey who was still hero-worshipping of Harry. They hurriedly closed the door to shut him out. Harry was not in the mood to be stared at for the whole trip.

Hermione was smirking in a conspiratorial kind of way, and Ron noticed this.

"What're you grinning like that for?" he asked

"Oh, I was just thinking of something funny - I think I'll look over some more of our books before we get there."

"Hermione" the boys groaned, Ginny was glad, if she had her nose in a book, it wasn't in her business.
