Chapter 3
A/N: Allo my friends...or enemies...or whatever u r (please don\'t kill me ^.^)! I am sorry it took so long to update this, though I don\'t know if you really care...oh well. I still haven\'t explained why Harry is the way he is, but I will. I am putting out a plee for some feedback, because if no one is likeing my story, I don\'t really see a reason to continue, so maybe just put the word \"Moo\" in a review, and i\'ll take it to mean you want me to keep going? Or you could tell me what u want from the story, or whatever. But please review. Oh, and if you\'re reading this here, don\'t read the bottom A/N, cause it\'ll be the same thing, cause I\'m a lazy bum! (^.^) Love you all! DO THE MOO!
1 WEEK LATER
Severus Snape stood watching the last of the new graduates leave with their parents. All except two students would be leaving. Draco Malfoy would be spending the summer here until he found a job, and Harry Potter was having a talk with the headmaster before leaving. Snape gave a nod of goodbye to the last student as they walked by and closed the door before heading back to his dungeons. He only got about halfway before he spotted Potter.
\"So Potter, where will you be spending this summer? With the Weasley\'s I presume?\" He had to keep the slight concern from showing on his face as the younger man jumped and spun when he was addressed, panic flashing in his eyes. \'What in Merlin\'s name did this to him?\'
\"None of your business, Snape.\" \'Good god\'s the boy has teeth. When did he stop being so shy and polite? Obviously between the last battle and his visit to the hospital wing.\'
\"Just because you have graduated does not mean you can be disrespectful, Potter. I suggest you learn to hold your tongue, or you might find it added to the list of ingredients for my next potion.\"
\"You don\'t scare me, Snape. You can\'t do a damned thing to me.\" Harry gave his former proffesor one last glare before walking off. But there was no way Severus was letting him get away with having the last word.
\"Not unless I have 50 galleons, right Potter?\" In the second it took the young man to spin around, Severus was already halfway up a nearby staircase and out of earshot.
Severus proceeded to his dungeons, pleased with his parting remark to the boy wonder. Sure, he might be a bit concerned about the boy\'s wellbeing, but he was still a bastard, and there was no way he could have just passed up an oppourtunity like that. He still had his trademark smirk on his face as he turned the corner and almost ran into the only other student still at school. \"Draco, what in Merlin\'s name are you doing outside my chambers?\"
\"Oh, Professor Snape. I came to see you, Dumbledore wants to talk with you, so he sent me to pass along the message.\" Severus thanked the boy and turned on his heel, upset at having to accend the many stairs right when he was looking foreward to relaxing in his private chambers. \'What can that old coot want now? And why do I get the feeling I\'m not going to like it?\'
