Chapter 3: Kings Cross Station.
Chapter 3: Kings Cross Station.
Sarah woke up the next morning in her room. Strangely enough Sarah knew that she had fallen asleep in the library. Draco must have brought here up here. She was still in her clothes from yesterday. She threw off her bed sheets and walked over to her trunk. She took out a new set of clothes. She took of her clothes and put on the skirt, top, jacket and knee high boots. She looked around and saw her owl.
“Adel. Come on we’re going today.” Sarah told her owl. The owl hooted. “I’ll be back later.” Sarah walked out of her room and headed down stairs in to the dinning room. No one was there so she decided to sit down and wait for them.
Twenty minutes later there was no sight of a Malfoy. She must have been late or maybe a bit to early. She thought it would be ok to go upstairs and see what Draco was doing. So she stood up and left the dinning room. She headed upstairs and past her room to Draco’s. The door was slightly ajar.
Sarah slowly creped closer to the door and saw Narcissa having a chat to Draco while he sat on the edge of his bed looking bored.
“Oh and do try not to get in trouble this year.”
“Mother I’m a bloody prefect!” Draco growled.
“Ok Draco, no need to get angry.” Narcissa smiled. “And don’t loose Sarah she is a nice girl and she is so valuable being Slytherin by blood and extremely wealthy.”
“I won’t mother.”
“Good boy.” Said Narcissa. Sarah turned away with a frown, thinking that Draco only wanted her for the name ahe mhe money. She decided to go outside and think for a moment. She walked through the Kitchen and out the back door on to the patio. She walked down to the grass and laid down looking up at the sky. Sarah liked their back yard. But she liked her new back yard at home better. She had moved house since she knew who she really was.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Mother I think we should get to breakfast.” Draco stood up.
“Oh yes I forgot about that.” Narcissa walked over to the bed room door.
“You go down to the dinning room I’ll get Sarah.”
“Ok.” Narcissa left Draco’s bedroom. Draco walked over to his wall and pressed a little piece of framing. It popped in to the wall and a little door popped out. Draco bent down and crawled through the door. Little lights appeared as he walked closer to the other side. He pushed the wall in front of him and it opened.
Draco crawled out of the passage and looked around Sarah’s room. She wasn’t there. He closed the passage door and walked out of Sarah’s room. He walked downstairs and in to the dinning room. Sarah wasn’t there either.
“Damn.” Draco whispered.
“Where is Sarah dear?”
“I don’t know.” Draco left the dinning room and walked out on the back patio. He looked out under the tree and she wasn’t there either. He suddenly began to panic. What if she ran away? “Sarah?” Draco called. He remembered that there was one place he had not checked, the study.
“What?” Sarah sat up. Draco looked over the patio and saw Sarah.
“Thyou you are.” Draco quickly walked over to her.
“Yeah where did you think I had gone?” Sarah stood up and brushed herself clean.
“I don’t know.” Draco shrugged.
“I heard what your mother said Draco.” Sarah whispered. Draco’s eyes widened.
“Sarah I’m sorry about her. My parents are after blood and money.” Draco blabbered. “I assure you that is not why I am with you.” Sarah closed her eyes for a moment.
“Well I trust you so you better not be lying.”
“I’m not.”
“Ok then.” Sarah sighed. Thinking whether he decision to trust him was the right thing. She knew that Draco had a knack for lying but Sarah had to see what he’s really like and yet she had not discovered his true side. Draco no matter where he was was never really himself.
“Anyway we better get going to breakfast.” Draco pulled Sarah into the manor. They walked into the dinning room and sat down. Sarah noticed that Lucius wasn’t here.
“If you do not mind me asking but where is Mr Malfoy?” Sarah asked.
“Father had an emergency at the ministry.” Draco informed.
“Ok I hope it is nothing to bad.” Sarah picked up her fork and began to eat her fruit salad.
After they had eaten their meals. Sarah headed out of the dinning room and saw her trunk and owl by the door.
“Oh ok.” Sarah walked over to her trunk. Draco came out of the dinning room after her and stood by his trunk. “Ah, I suppose the house elf’s brought my things do Sar Sarah queried.
“Yeah, is that a problem?”
“Not at all.” Sarah shook her head.
“Lets put them into the car.” Draco took out his wand and took Sarah’s trunk over to the fancy car waiting outside the front door. Sarah took her owl in her hand and put it in to the back seat. Draco then walked back into the manor and brought out his stuff.
“So is your mother coming?”
“No.” Draco shook his head.
“Why not?”
“My parents never come to Kings Cross, mother and father don’t like the mug- people.” Draco quickly corrected himself.
“Oh ok. I should say good bye then.” Sarah walked back into the house. Draco followed.
“Mother we’re going to go now!” Draco shouted.
“Oh.” Narcissa screeched and walked down the staircase. She stood in front of the two teenagers. “It was absolutely wonderful having you here Sarah.”
“Oh it was wonderful being here. You all are so nice.” Sarah smiled.
“Aren’t you so sweet.” Narcissa patted Sarah’s hand.
“And do tell Mr Malfoy thank you.”
“I will dear, I will.” Narcissa assured.
“Good.”
“And good bye Draco.” Narcissa grabbed her son’s head and kissed each side of his cheek. “I will see you on your holidays.”
“Yes mother.” Draco mentally reminded himself to wipe his cheeks.
“Good. You two best be off now.” Narcissa pushed the teenagers out of the front door.
“Good bye.” Sarah walked over to the car and hopped in.
“Bye mother.” Draco walked away too.
“Bye.” Narcissa waved. Draco closed the car door.
“You can go now.” Draco told the driver. The driver started the car and they drove off. Narcissa kept waving till the car was out of site.
“I guess you’re happy to be out of that house.”
“Definitely.” Draco sighed.
“I can see why.” Sarah laughed.
“Who couldn’t?” Draco laughed to. Draco and Sarah kept talking.
“Hey.” Sarah called. Sarah’s parents looked at her and Draco.
“Hello dear.” Talia smiled. Sarah left her trolley aside and gave her parents a kiss on the cheek.
“Its good now I can see you for a little longer before I leave.” Sarah sat down next to her father. Draco walked up to them.
“What would you like to drink?” Talia asked.
“Oh I would like a cappuccino please.” Sarah replied. Draco looked extremely puzzled. Sarah leaned over to him. “Maybe you would like a hot chocolate.” Sarah whispered.
“Ok.”
“And Draco wants a hot chocolate.” Sarah smiled, still trying to stop herself from bursting out in laughter.
“Good.” Talia stood up to go and order the drinks.
“Oh mother I’ll go.” Sarah blurted.
