Finding Serenity in the Least Tranquil of Places

So it became a sort of tradition for Ginny. She would become melancholy, search out her secret place and find Malfoy there just waiting for her. Sometimes he brought games for them to play. Sometimes they just talked. Sometimes they just laughed. It was strange that for so long she had abhorred this boy simply because the others told her to. He really wasn’t so rotten thought Ginny as she laid down a pair of aces, “I win.” Said Ginny. “No way do you win. I haven’t been beaten this many times in my life. I say you are cheating” said Malfoy. “You’re just a spoil sport. Don’t call me a cheater. I have older brothers. Don’t think I couldn’t whip I scrawny guy like you.” And she pounced on him tickling him and poking him and making him feel completely out of his element until she was almost on top of him and then time stopped. And he was overcome by her closeness and her scent of Lavender and her gorgeous green eyes and the way her hair had one tiny curl right above her eye. He shifted on the couch so that his arm was free and brushed that tiny curl away from her eye and just looked into those eyes mesmerized. They entranced him. He couldn’t fight the charm and his head inched closer to her and took her lips in a soft playful kiss like feathers dancing in the breeze. As soon as the kiss ended another began. All coherent thought left their heads. “Wow.” Said Draco pulling away. “What was that?” said Ginny her eyes still closed afraid that if they opened it would all be a dream. “I think you just seduced me young Weasley.” “Me seduce you?? Bastard. It wasn’t me.” Said Ginny outraged. “I can’t believe you’re blaming it on me. DO you know what trouble I would get in if my brothers found out about this?” Ginny got up to leave clearly pissed off. Malfoy grabbed her hand. “Don’t go.” And pulled her towards him for a kiss.
