Chapter 4
Chapter 4: What did he say…?
Disclaimer: I own nothing except for this little plot line of mine. I also own all of the made up characters appearing much later on in this story.
Summary: After finishing his detention, the only thing Harry had on his mind was Draco. He couldn’t fall asleep so he went outside for a little stroll and let’s just say Harry’s secret isn’t so secret anymore…he he.
Dedication: To all of my wonderful reviewers: draco’s-bitch11791, githoniel, danela, signeus-thanks for the great help. You are great! moonysgurl, Jade Malfoy, greeneyeddragon, Cynic387, Lady charisma Bl Lad Lady Malfoy182, and SiriuslyBlack2. If you’re name isn’t up here it will be on the next chapter. I wrote this part before I got all of my reviews. Oh, BTW, ‘singular quotes’ are inner dialogue.

Harry and Draco spent the newt three hours cleaning potion vials with an awkward silence around them. It started getting so hot and their hormones kept trying to get the better of them. Harry was about to walk up to Draco and grope him if Professor Snape hadn’t walked into the room moments before Harry was going to walk over.
“Well, I see you have managed to clean everything successfully. Good job Mr. Malfoy. Potter, maybe you should try to do it like Draco. You are both dismissed. Do not be late for Potions next week Potter, and no more of the note passing. That will no longer be tolerated. Honestly Draco, I have no idea what got into you.”
“Good night Professor,” Draco said forcefully. He hated it when Professor Snape made fun of Harry. He knew Harry didn’t deserve it. He felt so attracted to Harry during those three hours that he could barely contain himself. ‘Time for a cold shower before bed’. Draco heard Harry bid Professor Snape a “good evening” and when he was going to turn into the common room something happened. Draco turned around to find Harry tapping him on his shoulder. His voice barely came out because, even though Harry’s tap was light, he felt like a ton of bricks was falling on him. They just stared at each other stupidly until Draco snapped out of the trance and said something, not so sarcastic as usual. Draco Malfoy was losing his touch.
“What is it Harry?” Draco asked.
“I just wanted to say Good night. See you in the morning Draco…” and with that Harry turned away. Draco came to his senses and shouted out to Harry, “Have a good night too, Harry.” If Draco had been standing in front of Harry he would have been utterly surprised at the large grin spreading over Harry’s face.

Harry made his way back to the Gryffindor Common Room with out any interruptions and problems. He was so happy with Draco’s response that he barely knew where he was going. ‘Maybe he’ll end up liking me after all’. Harry entered the common room ignoring Ron and Hermione and started working on his Transfiguration essay.
“So,” Ron said. “How was detention? Did Snape make you clean the whole school? It took you long enough…”
“It was with Snape,” Harry replied. “How do you think it went?”
“Good call mate, good call,” spoke Ron. “Well…I’m off to bed. Good night.”
“Good night. Where’s Hermione?” asked Harry.
“In bed. I found her sleeping in the library so I insisted she went to bed.”
“Good…Good night Ron.”
Harry finished his essay for Professor McGonagall, and along with that he also finished his Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts homework. Harry wasn’t tired. He wanted more, more of Draco. He missed how they accidentally brushed up against Draco while reaching for another vial. It sent chills up his spine. Harry needed to get outside to think and breathe in fresh air, so after packing away his stuff back into his bag, he left. Taking, as an extra precaution, his invisibility cloak.
Harry was walking around the corridors deciding where he wanted to go, when he thought of Draco and his legs, almost automatically, carried him to the Astronomy Tower. Because it was a school night, Harry did not have to worry about all of the seventh years making out. Harry entered the tower and started climbing until he couldn’t climb anymore. It was a beautiful night outside. The air had a hint of passion in the air that Harry just sucked into his lungs. At the top of the tower he felt at peace-nothing could disturb him up here. The sky outside was reminiscent of the Slytherin Harry adored so much: they sky was a steel blue with a few silver-white stars speckling the sky. Harry wanted to fall into the sky and just have it take him some where were he could forget all of his problems. Harry thought he was dreaming when he heard an angelic voice calling his name… “Harry,” the voice called. “Harry, is everything okay…?” Harry thought he was in heaven. He could just fall in love with the beauty in the voice, it was filled with a passion so great, Harry had never been spoken to with a tone so soft and beautiful. Harry turned around to respond and saw that the angel…the one he could have loved without ever seeing…was Draco Malfoy. It had been that moment he realized how much he cared for Draco. He realized he wasn’t experiencing a school boy crush…he was in love. What Harry did next was so unexpected that after the moment, Draco didn’t know how to respond…
“Harry…” asked a concerned Draco Malfoy. “Are you okay…?” Harry turned around and just gazed into Draco’s beautiful eyes before responding.
“I’m perfect…now that you are here…” and Harry kissed Draco lightly on the cheek. When he realized what he had done, Harry turned around, through on his cloak, after saying a hurried apology to Draco. If harry had stayed, and not run away, he would have realized that Draco felt that love Harry had the moment he was kissed. Draco was so mesmerized by Harry he couldn’t respond to Harry.
Harry ran all the way back to Gryffindor tower, and instead of feeling thoughts of regret, he was feeling evedeved. Because by the time Harry sat down and thought about it, Draco never pulled away…
