The outer edge

Narcissa ducked through a dark door way glancing around her. It was imperative she not be seen, If the Dark Lord found out that someone had leaked what he had just told his most faithful to his justice would be painful, and ultimately end in death. She shivered, his strongest and most loyal Death Eaters were gathering in the manor more and more by the hour. He had held a council this afternoon, an all out war on the Order was about to begin. Since they did not know where exactly the order was hiding itself they were going to try and draw them out.

Mass killing would force Potter out of hiding, especially if it was people he cared about. Old school chums, the Weasleys. And the dark lord would be waiting, they had created some sort of magic that could strip the body of its natural magic. The dark Lord was covering all ends, his last Horcrux that infamous Necklace was leaving Riddle Manor which all though nearly impenetrable could still, if it's secrete keeper was ever discovered, be taken. Voldemort was having it moved to a secrete location and Lucius had been one of the ones chosen to escort the Necklace to its new location.

He had told her he could not allow her to come with him. She knew that somehow she had to figure out just where they were taking it and give that news to the Order. In the meanwhile she could tell them what she already knew. She made sure that she was alone then pulled out the seeing stone Severus had given her. Severus Snape she whispered tapping it with her wand.
~~~***~~~**~~~***~~~***
Severus was jarred from sleep by a rattling sound on the desk next to his bed. He opened his eyes blinking at the still present darkness. Sirius was still asleep his head splayed across Severus chest his body in sleepy abandon. It brought a smile to his face, a brilliant rare occurrence in his life. "I love you." He whispered into his hair as he kissed the top of his head. It was getting easier to say that out loud, true Sirius was sleeping but it still forced himself to admit it. Sirius mumbled in his sleep something about a closet, and snuggled up closer to him.
The rattling continued and Snape looked to the dresser where he had placed his seeing stone. It was glowing and vibrating against the wood causing the rattling noise. He reached over to pick it up, the moment his fingers touched it Narcissa's face floated to the surface of the polished rock.
"Cissa? Are you ok?"
~~**~~~***~~~~**~~~***~~~**~~
Hiaro eyed himself in the mirror a little self consciously, Ron when he had woken up the day before had welcomed him back amongst the living and insisted he rest the rest of the day, he had also insisted that later the two of them talk. He sighed already knowing what it would most likely be about. Ron would be angry of course that he had insisted on leaving the castle with Shijo, that he had nearly died. In truth Hiaro didn't regret his decision. He had needed to see his people, to see the world outside. To take a step back from the storm of his feelings in an attempt to distance himself from them.
The only thing he regretted about that day was Shijo, he felt a pang of loss in the center of his chest. He had seen the state of his people and his already reverent desire to give them justice had been strengthened. He didn't regret that and couldn't regret sharing in their pain. In that moment when he had felt The Avengers Dagger tearing into his flesh and his life flowing from his body he had indeed had one other regret.
He had regretted never telling Ron. One small part of him had wondered if he had just told Ron how he felt then maybe he wouldn't be dieing. Perhaps even now he'd be in his arms, safe and happy. Then the world had gone black. He knew know that Ron had come to his rescue that he had kept the three of them alive as long as he could waiting for help to come.
Ron would be furious because he had nearly died, Hiaro found he was just too tired to care. He was right back where he had started only this time minus a friend and a mentor. He was still trapped in the role of friend, it still hurt and he was still helpless to help his people. He was still unloved by the one person he needed most.
He heard the door open and braced himself for what was to come. He turned ready to halt the lecture before it could come, and his words died a swift death on his tongue.
Ron walked into the room his sword on his belt his training pants a little damp from sweat as was his tunic. That deep red hair of his looked as if he had run his hand through it recently and let it lay where it would. He was utterly breathtaking this way, so undeniably male that all Hiaro could think about was reaching out to touch him. This was killing him not being able to let who he was and what he felt show.
"Sorry I'm late Hizen kept me training longer then usual." Ron apologized. He looked nervous jumpy, like he was full of repressed energy. Like a person about to commit a dare, who was gathering up their nerve. "Why did you lie to me?" He asked.
The question through Hiaro so far off guard that he just blinked at Ron for a moment. Ron's eyes hardened a little as he got a little angry at him. "I don't appreciate being lied to! Don't do that anymore, don't tell me your in love with some girl if your not!"
Hiaro felt his face heat a little, so he knew there wasn't any girl. In truth Hiaro had begun to wonder how on earth he could still believe that in light of the fact that it was clear to see what exactly Hiaro felt for him every
time he looked at him. How much did he know? How much had he figured out, if he'd figured out that Hiaro was in love with him then why wasn't he disgusted and afraid? "Hari was trying to hint to you that I was in love with...someone and I had to come up with something. I only admitted that I was in love, you were the one who assumed it was a girl!" He reminded him warily.
Ron nodded drifting closer to him, their eyes were locked neither daring to look away. Hiaro found it a little hard to breath with him so close and his eyes so intense.
"Yeah I do have a habit of doing that, my world has always been very cut and dry. Man with woman, that's it. I understand why you might have been afraid to tell me you were in love with a guy." Ron admitted watching Hiaro closely.
Not just any man, you! It's always been you, why can't you see that.
Ron glanced towards the window a slight frown on his face, "I cant except that you know" he said turning back to stare at him. He had the strangest look in his eyes, it was slightly nervous but bold and almost aggressive.
"What?" Hiaro asked very tempted to back up a step.
Ron didn't say anything his eyes slipped from his face to slide down the rest of his body, Hiaro couldn't suppress a shiver as their eyes connected once again and a bolt of heat swept through his body.
"How stupid I was. You couldn't tell me because I would have run like a chicken, I know that. I had to watch you dieing before realized I just don't care. I don't want to live without you, I just can't. So if that means I'm less then I thought I was so be it." Ron said taking a step closer.
Hiaro's breath caught in his throat, he stared at Ron with wide eyes. Could this really be happening? Or was it another dream where he would wake up cold and very alone.
"The problem is...I have no clue how this works and I might just die of embarrassment before we finish. I'll try not to but I really cant make myself leave." Ron admitted his voice had deepened a little.
It really was happening...Hiaro felt the heavy weight on his heart ease, the whole world seemed suddenly beautiful. Because he was his world, and he had never seen anything more beautiful then him.
We'll do it all
Everything
On our own
Hiaro took the last step bringing them inches apart. "are you sure you want this?" He asked even though he knew if Ron suddenly changed his mind he would shatter.
We don't need
Anything
Or anyone
"No, not really part of me really wants to be everything my family expects me to be, what the world expects of me. But I want happiness. I want...you above all things, and if that's wrong...then we're wrong. It wouldn't be the first time I've been. I want you to show me that beautiful person you described who cant possible be me." Ron's voice was so breathy it had become little more then a whisper.
He was bursting. Filled with a perfect blissfulness that was filling him faster then he could hold it all in. He pulled Ron into his kiss only moments after he had finished speaking.
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
The first touch of his lips was like a seel on his soul, he was never going to be the same. He was branded taken for life. The passion between them swirled in a dizzying tide that was sweeping them both away. Hiaro braced his hands on Ron's shoulder just barely leading. The sensation of being swept out of his body and into the heavens was undoing him.
Ron was trembling a little beneath his lips, but he returned the kiss just as passionately. Hiaro halted gasping for breath leaning into Ron a little. "Are you ok, do you want me to slow down he asked?"
I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel
Ron shook his head even though he was slightly pale and his eyes a little too wide. "please don't, I'll loose my nerve if you stop."
That was all the reassurance Hiaro needed He lent over to press a soothing kiss into the side of Ron's neck, his skin was a soft as silk and Hiaro could not resist the urge to taste it. He flicked his tongue across it tasting something that was uniquely him, it was salty it was sweet it was paradise. Ron shivered against him unconsciously moving closer.
"You can taste me too you know." Hiaro encouraged him. At first he thought Ron was going to balk, his body had gone a little stiff and he took a small step backwards. Then surprisingly he took a deep breath and leaned closer till his mouth was hovering directly above Hiaro's pulse. His heart was already hammering in his chest to the beat of an erratic drum. It doubled its pace when Ron's tongue darted out to feel the pressure of his blood roaring through his veins.
Hiaro moaned his legs suddenly growing extremely weak, he was going to drag them both to the floor in an instant. White hot pleasure was assaulting his senses as Ron grew more bold his tongue stroking Hiaro's skin, a low humming noise escaping from his chest. He had truly meant this to be slow and gentle. Where had all his self control gone? He had started out well enough, but each touch of his hands, each kiss he gave him was driving him into an undisciplined frenzy.
Ron surprisingly didn't look as if he minded, his eyes were fluttering open and shut across a haze of passion; his shyness completely forgotten as they both tumbled onto the floor. Hiaro landed hard on his back the breath knocked from him, but he was uncaring. The feeling of Ron's weight on top of him was beyond heavenly. He cradled him between his legs, a sharp gasp torn from his chest at the feel of their erections pressed against each other.
Hiaro pushed his tunic up to bare his chest, he barely took a moment to marvel at it before he was devouring it like he was starved. In many ways he was, he had brought himself to painful arousal too many nights thinking about doing just this. He nipped at one dusky nipple and watched Ron groan and his head roll a little bit, he was uncertain of where to touch. That burning stretching painful ache in his groin begged for attention. Hiaro moved against him in increasingly demanding movements.
~~~Change of View~~

He must be on fire, there just had to be flames crackling though his body because he felt as if he had been shoved into an oven. It was different, every time he thought about the difference he felt his world begin to rock. Hiaro was hard and strong where the girls had been soft. He found nothing could feel better then all that hard muscle moving beneath him. It sent the blood in his flames escalating to knew heights.

His own chest was bare but it scratched against the cloth of Hiaro's shirt. Off!

He wasn't thinking anymore, just feeling. He wanted the feel of cool skin sliding against skin till they both became heated. He wanted the taste of that skin on his lips, he wanted to watch stars enter those beautiful eyes of his and to know that he had put them there. Ron fumbled with Hiaro's tunic trying his best to jerk it off his brain suddenly unremembered of exactly how buttons worked.

When Hiaro bucked beneath him to press their bodies against each other, when he felt that slow grinding movement of rolling hips a cry of pleasure tore past his lips. Hiaro caught his cry with his own mouth thrusting his tongue deep into Ron's mouth. He felt a brief moment of shock, a feeling of invasion but when his wayward tongue darted out to meet Hiaro's his body was swamped with such molten pleasure he forgot his discomfort.

He dug his hands underneath Hiaro's tunic caressing his smooth skin with moans of absolute pleasure. Those hard planes had no give in them he reviled in the burning sensation swimming in his body. He was so lost in the feeling he didn't notice Hiaro working on the ties of his pants until he felt his fingers brushing the skin of his thighs.

It brought such a bolt of craven pleasure he almost didn't care, then the realization that a man was touching him where no man ever had before hit him and he instinctively scrambled away.

His breath came in gasps Hiaro lay on the floor a slightly pained look on his face but he schooled himself to patience. "I'm sorry, I was going too fast I meant to be gentle but I got carried away Ron I'm sorry." He apologised.

Ron tried to force his heart back into his chest, it had lept into his throat at that touch. He shook his head creeping on hands and knees to lean over Hiaro. "No, I'm just...It's just new. I actually liked most of it." He could feel his face heating as he admitted, "Well all of it, even the last part. It was just a little shocking. I think I'm ready to start again."

In truth he might just explode if the didn't, although he was trembling a little his mind and years of instinct screaming for him to run away, his body and his heart would not let him. Hiaro wrapped his arms around Ron's neck pulling him down into a tender kiss. For all it's gentleness it was full of fierce passion, Ron felt his blood heating again and his cock hardening in his pants. It was painful. It was beautiful.

One touch and he got chills up and down his body, he wanted to know it all. He wanted to have it all, the heat the warmth. This was dangerous, he knew it was some last sense of self preservation warned him that this was dangerous to him. He wanted it anyway.

He felt a jolt of pleasure slam through his body when Hirao's hands once again slid inside his pants. He moved into those hands gasping out his pleasure as they caressed him. His heart was thumping so hard and loud in his chest that when the banging on the door started he didn't register it for what it was.

When the door opened and Sirius walked in saying something he registered what exactly was happening. He was flying off of Hiaro like a rocket his face a deeper red then his hair.

Sirius blinked at them both in shock and slight embarrassment. "I'm sorry, you didn't answer...I thought..." he fumbled. Hiaro looked like he was ready to murder the older man even sprawled on the floor as he was. Sirius gulped, "We all need to meet in the great hall right away." Sirius finished lamely glancing at Ron.

Ron had never felt so much shame in his life, he wasn't ashamed of Hiaro, he was ashamed of himself. He didn't understand it all he knew was that if he stayed in this room one more second he was going to die of mortification. He snatched his tunic up off the floor and fled from the room.
~~~~**Change of view**~~~
Hiaro watched him go with pain filled eyes, and body for that matter. It was still heated and painfully aroused no thanks to Sirius. He glared at him as he climbed to his feet, "Why couldn't you have just assumed I was asleep or something." he grumbled.
Sirius had the grace to blush then shook his head, "I did think you were sleeping that's why I came in to wake you up. You have to come down it's important. I'm sorry I know how long you've been waiting for that if I'd have known I'd have...well the news is important I'd still have interrupted just not like that. You think he'll be ok?" Sirius asked glancing at the door Ron had retreated through.
"Yes, I think he's a little embarrassed to be seen like that. He just needs to grow a little more confidant in himself." Hiaro nodded. He hoped he was right.
~~~~***~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~***~**~*

It was still early morning the first rays of sunlight not having yet appeared on the rise. Harry watched Draco as he slept his chest rising and falling. He was so incredibly beautiful, how could he have missed it all those years. How could he have been so blind? Every time he opened his eyes and looked at him Harry wanted to make up for lost time. He also wanted to kick himself, however one was certainly more pleasurable then the other.

He smiled slightly to himself, he had fast found out he enjoyed pleasure especially when it came to the man beside him. He could lay like this with him forever, Harry trailed his lips up the smooth expanse of his chest enjoying the lingering taste of him, even the very smell of him.

"Harry..." Draco mumbled in his sleep turning into him. Harry had just decided to fully wake him when there was a pounding on the door.

"POTTER! DRACO! GET UP"

The annoying interruption sounded like Snape. Draco's eyes shot open and he bolted upright in bed. "Whats going on who is that?" He asked sleepy.

Harry thought he looked irresistibly sexy like that, hair still messy from sleep, his skin glistening in the moonlight from the window. He sighed nodding towards the door, he had the sinking feeling that their moments of peace were over.
~~~***~~~~*****~~~~~***~~
Hari listened too the group of people gathered around her in the great Hall. It had happened. The pause was over, they were not in the middel of the storm. They were riding its outer edge, feeling the fist boom of thunder. Most of them were slightly annoyed to be pulled from their beds. She herself had been sleeping having a pleasant dream when Simon had awakened her. She had not felt as bad as some of the others. She had simply stepped from dream to reality with easy grace. She could feel him watching her, he was always watching her as if she would break. She smiled at him, knowing exactly where he was, she felt his presence like she felt no one else's.
~~Change of view~~
Seamus held Deans hand feeling his apprehension through their linked hands. He gave it a slow comforting squeeze and felt Dean squeeze back. Danny had wanted to come to the meeting as well but Dean had insisted he stay behind. He knew that Simon had put the same stipulation on Gabriella, but if he knew those two they were peeking around a corner somewhere.
"I have received a message from a trustworthy source this evening, The dark Lord has mobilized his forces. Harry's rescue of our members has put him on the offensive. He's no longer content with searching for us. He means to draw us out. He has put a death sentence on any wizard family he deems traitors, he has ordered mass public executions for those families." Snape began.
An instant hush went over the crowd as he looked over at them all. "Any pure blood he even suspects of being in the order, your family's are no longer safe. We can not confirm everyone but we do know that Neville your grandmother is on the list along with Mr Lovegood, and the entire Weasley family."
Neville paled, Luna gasped her hands flying to her mouth, Ron paled as well and Hiaro moved to steady him. Harry predictably looked ready to wage war on anyone who would dare. He surged forward in a restless movement as if he wanted to fly into battle that very instant. Draco reached out to grasp his arm pulling him back into sitting. He whispered something to him that calmed him a little but not by much.
Snape nodded, "This is an obvious ploy to draw us out. They have well planned traps waiting, according to my informant they have devised a spell that can strip a person of natural magic ability."
A chorus of shock went through the hall which was followed closely by murmurs of conversation. Seamus saw Lee and Dean glance at each other. What was going on there, he wondered? His curiosity was satisfied when Lee stood up and spoke.
"it's a potion actually, if they have found a way to put it into spell form they are advancing faster then I thought they would. When Voldemort first took over he used a potion to strip the ministry officials in every country of their powers. It's how he accomplished it so quickly and so easily. Since coming here I have been trying to break it down but it's the most complex potion I have ever worked with. As far as I can tell it could stop anyone..."Here he glanced at both Harry and Draco... "and anything of its power. Even anything as powerful as a fae. All it would take was one hit with that spell and any of us would be forever helpless. I don't advise falling into that trap."
Harry stood up anger blazing in his eyes, "So we just sit here, saving our own skins?" He demanded.
Luna quivered tears swimming in her eyes, "my father didn't do anything I'm the one resisting what if I offered myself in his place?"
"Don't be a fool Luna he'd just kill you both." Tonks reasoned with a look of sympathy.
"If you think for one second I'm leaving people I care about to die your mental Snape, Spell or no spell..." Harry growled.
"Harry will you just sit down and think! This is a war and sacrifices...." Snape tried to reason
"MY FAMILY ARE NOT SACRIFICES!" Ron thundered breaking free of Hiaro's grasp and interrupting him.
Seamus had heard enough. He let go of Deans hand putting two fingers in his mouth he whistled sharply and shrilly till everyone was cringing but blessedly silent. He glanced around and said, "That's much better. Now we can actually listen to each other. Lee you specialise in finding antidotes and reverses to new magic, could you find a way to reverse this spells effects?" Seamus asked.
Lee looked slightly pained, he glanced at Ron took a deep breath and said, "Yes but first I'd have to completely break it down. And I cant do that."
Seamus could feel the hope in the room sink a little. Then Lee caught Ron's eye and continued, "I cant but the magic's original composer could. When I worked at the ministry before the downfall I saw lots of newly invented magic. Each composer whether he realises it or not has a certain type of style a magical pattern. I have seen this one too many times not to recognise it. Fred could break it down and make an antidote cause he composed it in the first place."
Seamus winced, then all hope was truly lost. Fred was off his rocker, whatever torture he had suffered in the hands of the Death Eaters had broken his mind. He shuddered thinking about the cruel and unforgivable things he had done. Fred had woken since being brought to the castle but he was wild. He was magically bound to his bed to keep everyone in the castle safe. When you looked into those eyes you saw a feral animal, one who would kill you as soon as look at you. Within those eyes was so much pain it hurt to look at him, Seamus had not been able to bear seeing into the soul of such a shattered being.
``~~``Change of view```~~~
Then we cant possibly revert it, which means we have to be smart. We cant fly in and rescue anyone at the risk of loosing magical ability. This war itself has become nearly impossible." Severus was saying.
Hair could feel the hope draining from the people present and the desperation increasing, she had seen this coming. She felt a pang in her chest as one of her visions was proven correct and Sirius spoke. "We just need a really clever plan, we need an element of surprise. They don't even know I'm alive I could..."
"Don't even finish that sentence Sirius, the answer is no!" Severus snapped beneath his anger she could hear true fear and desperation. She knew exactly what Sirius was going to say next and what she was going to say after. If she didn't say it the outcome of her vision might change. For the better or for the worst? In her vision their was great pain but also joy, they won in her visions even at the cost of their own hurt.
If she tampered with it, what fate would she bring down on their heads?
"Severus we have to do something, If I could do something to help you have to let me try!" Sirius pleaded.
She already knew what she was going to do, not because of fate or visions but because she could do nothing else. She knew now she had the power to help Fred. To heal the jagged tear in his soul, how could she possibly do anything else. She had grown to love these people, but she had to do what was right.
Even if it was a step towards one of their deaths.
"You don't need to go Sirius. Fred can make the antidote." Hari spoke up.
She could hear the murmurs and the disbelief in every ones voices, feel their discontent. "I can heal him, I'll explain how after its done but we're loosing time." She added softly.
"Hari no you..." Hiaro meant to stop her. She held up her hand waving him to silence.
"This is my choice, I know I can do it and if I can heal his pain then it's something I must do. He will then be fully capable and willing to create an antidote. Even if Sirius did some how spring our loved ones from the Dark lords trap we would still loose the war eventually. We need that antidote and to get it we need Fred. Even if we didn't need him I would still do this. Because it is right, and he did not deserve what happened to him. No one deserves something like that. He deserves a chance to regain some of the honor that he lost at the very least."
She could feel Simon clasp her hand in a support, she could also feel his worry. She knew when he had rescued and carried her back to the castle that The Archangel had used him to keep her alive. They were connected, she had been inside his body inside his mind. She knew him and he knew her, it was a friendship unlike anything she had ever had.
She took comfort in his touch and nodded to all those gathered, she was ready. If only her visions would prove to be only Prophecy rather then fate.
A/N: Sorry to leave it like that but the Healing was going to take a lot longer to finish and I thought the Chapter was long enough. 0.o sooo....how was it.
OH AND I HAVE A DELIMA? I have no Idea who I want to Top Ron Or HIaro? Eek well in my mind it was Ron just because in the sequal I'm planning he'd be king and it just didn't fit my image to have him be submissive. Then again he's never done anything like this before and Hiaro has so Hiaro would natually be Dominant? What do you think? (lol and yes it is in part why I cut them off.)
