Chapter 28..Awakenings
Chapter 28...
Weeks passed slowly for Winter and Draco. Lessons with Harry had
been less than pleasurable. Draco progressed slowly, but Winter excelled,
but after all she had the natural talent. But poor Draco, he tried so hard,
only he had to completely retrain his mouth to move a totally different way.
Progress was slow, yet it proved to be promising. He was beginning to
know words and form sentences, but just couldn\'t get it right. Sounded
like someone with a bad accent, but still he tried. There was still hope.
Lucius had been back to the fireplace several timest hat hadn\'t pressed
Draco too much for information on Winter. All he would tell him was that
the Karhem was well, and things were quiet for the time being. Lucius grew
more narrowed eyed each time he left, but didn\'t push the issue. He was sure
his son would tell if need be. He couldn\'t have been more wrong.
Draco had began to threaten certain paintings in the castle with an
acetone bath if one piece of gossip got back to his father. They didn\'t
dare say a word, even to other portraits. Nothing was worth the torture
of feeling your paint slowly drip ande ade away. If the paint dissappeared
so did they, and the acetone Winter had been playing with as she stood
next to Draco smelled like death to them.
Crabbe and Goyle were no problem. They were the brute force behind
terrorizing the spies among the student population. Too loyal to Draco to
understand they were probably hindering their fathers progress in the process.
They stamped and stalked about through the halls, at dinner, before class, the
common room, anywhere where gossip could be found. Ready to jump into a
group of students at any time, sending them scattering in different
directions with a loud,
\"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS TALKIN\' ABOUT?\"
Stupid, yet effective. And it never failed to make Draco smile, and not a
famous Malfoy smirk either. It was genuine, he hid it of course, but she
always knew. Winter could see it behind his hand, he was almost laughing.
Laughing at how devious she was. His lovely lady had made a deal with his
bumbling bodyguards to set them up with twins she knew back home. All they
had to do was make sure no one was spreading rumors about her and Draco.
Winter didn\'t know if she actually would, but it was all Crabbe and Goyle needed
to get in gear. They didn\'t care who it was, or what house they were in.
They were in everybody\'s business, and positively annoying. Brilliant, even
if they would never truly understand.
Winter mulled over these thoughts as she sat on the window bench in
the deserted library. Watching the leaves blow around on the ground below.
The bright moon coming in through the stained glass making it glow softly.
Winter had just recovered from her releasing spell. Better this time, but still
hopelessly draining. At least this time she hadn\'t collapsed. Only barely making
it to the steps, legs threatening to give out. She had began to fall, and the
instant before she hit the ground strong arms had found her. Unknown to
her he had been waiting, watching her. Just like he said he did.
Ron had stepped out of the shadows at the last minute. Coming for her
before she fell. For a moment she had thought Draco had followed her. She
had chose once again not to inform him of her plans. She had to do this whether
she was with him or not, and the stubborness in her made her want to prove
she could do it alone.
She looked up a Ron with an almost drunken smile. She was dizzy, and her
body still ached. \"You little voyeur, Weasley.\"
He shook his head, and lifted her onto his back. \"Can you hold on?\"
Winter nodded weakly. Grabbing hold of his wide shoulders. Merlin,
he was hiding some bulk under those robes. He held her legs up, and began
to trudge up the long stairs that led to the castle.
\"What in Hades made you decide to get so drunk?\" He scolded her as
she laughed back at him. \"Well?\"
\"I\'m not drunk.\" Unfortunately she noticed she was slurring her words.
\"Surrrrrrre your not. You better be glad I was on the tower tonight.
Imagine sneeking out on your horse to get bloody drunk behind the
Quidditch pitch!\"
\"AHHH, come on Weasley. You\'re on the tower everynight!\" She giggled
and thought she really did sound drunk. She felt like she weighed a ton,
and her muscles just didn\'t want to work right. \"You\'re always on the tower
waiting for Loony Luna.\"
\"Are we jealous?\" Ron looked back, and she tapped his head like a
good dog.
\"You wish, Weasley.\" She laid her tired head on his shoulder as
he rocked back and forth as he made his way up the steps.
\"Merlin, Winter! Stop breathing in my ear.\" He pulled his head forward
with a shutter that went all the way down his back.
She jerked her head back up, and it only made her dizzier. \"What?
Oh, sorry.\" She couldn\'t help but laugh at the thought that crossed her
mind. \"What\'s the matter, Ron?\"
\"Nothing, just stop!\" He was mildly annoyed, or maybe something else.
His face seemed to be getting redder.
\"It turns your crack, dosen\'t it?!\"
\"What?\" Rons voice cracked. \"NO!\"
\"Yes it does,\" she argued back, \"I can tell it does. Come on, Weasley.
Admit it!\" She poked him in the ribs, and he laughed. \"Tell me.\"
\"OK OK! I\'ll tell you. Gods, you\'re pushy!\" Ron took at deep breath. \"It
just reminds me of someone, that\'s all. She used to do it, and lets just
say I wish she still did.\"
Winter scrunched up her face. \"You mean you miss that Granger girl?
Haven\'t you learned better than that?\"
\"Well I only miss SOME of her.\" He laughed at his own joke. \"We\'ve been
friends a long time. Me, Harry, and Hermione we\'ve been through a lot. I thought Hermione was great at one time, but when she became my girlfriend she kinda
went crazy. With me at least. She\'s such a good friend, but when I tried to
touch her she went cold. I can\'t understand what happened. She would
tease me but then I would try to get somewhere and she\'d
cut me off. Dosen\'t that sound fucked up?\"
\"Kinda but not really.\" Winter shrugged. \"Did you ever let her take
control, Weasley? Or did you just get hard, and try to slide for home?\"
\"I never did that!\" Ron sounded suprised. \"I tried I really did.\"
\"That\'s not what I\'m asking, Weasley. You rushed that girl, when she
was the one who wanted to rush you.\"
\"WHAT!\" Ron stopped at the top of the steps, but didn\'t drop her.
\"You took all the fun out of it for her. It was her game, and you won.
I have a feeling Hermonie is a closet dominant, she just won\'t admit it. It\'s
hard for her to talk about it because then everyone knows she\'s not as prim
and proper as she wants people to think she is.\"
\"You\'re joking right. The girl is just fridgid!\" Ron scoffed and set her down
gently on the stone.
\"No, I\'m serious. If you play hard to get with her it\'ll drive her wild.\" Winter
smiled as the light went on in Ron\'s head. \"You know, just get back into her
good graces, then pretend you don\'t care anymore.\"
\"It\'ll never work!\" Ron was very mistrusting.
\"Get some balls, Weasley. Make her want your cock so bad she\'d
beg for it. Then don\'t give it to her. Make her wait. Then I swear she
will come to you, and *make* you give it to her.\"
\"Begging for it, huh?\" Ron was beginning to like this idea. The thought
of Hermione *making* him give it to her made his temperature rise, among
other things.
\"She\'ll be demanding it, Ron. How do you like that idea?\"
\"Sounds good to me.\"
Ron had left her at the Slytherin dungeon entrance, looking
nervous, and excited. Winter whispered back at him before she
rounded the first corner. \"Remember what I told you, Weasley.\"
He nodded as she slipped out of sight.
That was two days ago, and she craved some peace and quiet. Her joints
still hurt as she leaned on the window frame still watching the ground below.
The library was warm and smelled of old books. A little dusty at times, but
always beautiful. She liked the dark wood of the shelves, and the occasional
House elf that scuttered about dusting them off. Leaving a smell of orange oil
in the air.
Winter came here to read, but usually it was one of hers. Today it was
one of her favorites. \"The Guide to Sexual Female Dominance.\" It was brilliant,
and it wasn\'t too rough. It was more a guide to seduction for that certain kind
of man that longs to be taken over. Like Ron. She laughed at their twistid
friendship. Strange as it was, it worked.
Maybe it had something to do with Harry. He had tried for so long
for them to get along. Winter was Harry\'s meal ticket in potions, and
didn\'t want Ron to ruin it. So Harry had really talked Winter up around
him after the barking incedent. Until Ron\'s curiousity had gotten the best
of him ,and he began to wonder about her. Which in turn had led to the
conversation on the tower. Now they were friends but were \"I talk to you
when no one hears me\" type of friends. Both seemed happy with it, and now
Winter felt kind of indebted to him, because he had helped her back into
the castle two nights ago.
Winter smiled and went back to her book, reading the chapter over about
proper knots for bondage. She was interupted twenty minutes later by
the soft creak of the library door. She looked down from her second floor
position, peering over the wooden balcony. One small figure, lots of bookbags,
and weighed down heavily by them. Hermione Granger of all people.
Winter watched her as she lit a small lamp, and began to heave her
numerous books onto a large table, and then started to scribble on a parchment.
She sat silently on her perch. Hermonie certainly could be pretty with just
a little amount of effort. She had potential, and Winter was going to make
her see it.
\"Late night, Hermione?\" Winter stood up, and Hermonie made a frightened
sqeek.
\"Merlin, you scared me!\" Hermione was breathing hard, and her wide eyed
expression was priceless. Winter coming down the steps toward her table.
\"Sorry.\" Winter held her hands up to show she had nothing but a book. A
mock gesture showing she was unarmed. \"Just reading.\"
\"Are you allowed to be in here?\" Hermione\'s eyes narrowed in distrust.
\"I don\'t know. Are you allowed to be in here?\" Winter sat across the table
from Hermione as she continued to eye her.
\"Of course.\" Hermione pulled her hair back roughly. \"I\'m Head Girl, I have
access to the library whenever I please.\"
\"Head Girl? Oh is that so?\" Winter played sweet, and lowered her voice.
\"That\'s not what I heard.\"
\"What does that mean?\" Hermione leaned forward with a scowl.
\"Well lets just say I know a certain boy who wishes you would be
his *HEAD* Girl. If you know what I mean.\" Winter shot Hermione her
most devious smile.
\"What are you talking about?\"
\"Come on Herms! I don\'t buy it. You can try to hide it all you want, but
from me you can hide nothing.\" Winter began to purposely move her
book back and forth in her hands. \"You have it in you, and so do I.
I can see it in you, just like someone saw it in me.\"
\"I don\'t have anything in me! I don\'t even know what you mean.\" Hermione
sounded outraged, but yet interested in Winter\'s book. She just couldn\'t
help herself. Watching it go back and forth in her hands, made her want it.
\"What is that?\"
\"Oh this? It\'s just a book.\" She kept moving it as Hermione watched
intently.
\"Just a book? I know it\'s a book! What is it about? I\'ve never seen it in here
before.\"
\"Of course you haven\'t, because it\'s mine. This book will tell you everything
you need to know about being a Head Girl.\" Winter slid it slowly towards
Hermione. Looking at her through her lashes.
Hermione took the book with a quick pull, and read the black lettering on
the red leather cover. It made her stomach turn, but in a good way. Excitement
coursed through her, and she tried her hardest not to show it. She stayed silent.
\"Someone gave me a copy two years ago. She saw in me what I now see in
you. You need an outlet, Hermione. More than books and pouring into your
studies. I know you have certain urges that you think my be a little scary,
and they can be.\"
Hermione stayed silent, but listened. She didn\'t argue.
\"I know we don\'t really get along, but the woman that gave me this didn\'t
like me either. She gave it to me knowing I needed it, not because she
liked me. It will help you work through those thoughts and turn them into
reality. Gives you the rules, and teaches you to do it properly. Seduction,
intimacy, domination, it\'s all in there.\"
Hermione looked at the book like it was gold, but in her mind it was worth
more. If she didn\'t hate Winter she would of hugged her, but maybe now she
hated her just a little less. She had been having these strange fantasies, and
dreams about dominating Ron. The brat deserved it. She wanted him to whine
underneath her, to please her WHEN SHE TOLD HIM TOO! His over amourous
actions had turned her off, and when he tried she felt like it was forced.
If only she could tell him everything to do, and MAKE him do it right. She felt
like taking his new found courage and making it crumble beneath her feet.
\"Thank you.\" Hermione could barely get it out.
\"So you\'re taking it then?\" Winter looked at Hermione and arched her eyebrows.
She was still not confident enough, but it would all soon change. After the book,
and a little practice.
\"Yes. I think it will be most interesting.\" She was stuffing it in to her robes.
No doubt returning at the earliest moment to the privacy of her room.
\"You know what else is interesting?\" Winter was getting up from her chair.
It made Hermione back up a step.
\"What?\"
\"The color of that book is so lovely. Truly the right color for you....Red.\"
Winter slipped out the wood door, and was gone in a sweep of grey cloak.
Leaving Hermione to ponder her last words.
\'Red\', she thought with increasing understanding. \'Red? Red?\'
Then it hit her. Weasley red! She packed up the rest of her books,
and went quickly to her rooms. Flopped on the bed and began to
read with wonder the little red book.
\"Ron Weasley,\" she said outloud to her empty room. \"Your ass is mine, and
I\'m going to make it as red as your hair!\"
