Chapter 28: Sunday Afternoon

Sunday Afternoon: The Slytherin Dungeons:

Terry opened the door to roo room with a distracted air. He had a charms essay to finish and he couldn't find the book he needed. He wondered if he left it on his desk. He stopped abruptly in his tracks. He blinked and then tried to back out of the room apologetically.

"No," said Daria, her face scarlet with embarrassment. "Don't leave, Terry. I was just going." She wriggled out of Adrian's tight embrace.

"No," protested a rumpled Adrian. He tried to dive for one of her hands but Daria was too quick for him. She mumbled an excuse and fled the room quickly. She was unaware that she forgot her shoes.

"Bloody hell, Ter," said a frustrated Adrian. "You scared her off."

"Sorry," said Terry a little too loudly. He grimaced to himself as he rummaged around his desk. He heard Adrian follow Daria out the door a few seconds later.

The Hallway:

"Daria," shouted Adrian. "Daria. Wait!"

A completely mortified Daria stopped in her tracks and waited for him to catch up to her.

"What's wrong, love?" asked Adrian with a puzzled expression. He stroked her hair. She had her face buried in his chest.

"It's so awkward," moaned Daria. "Having Terry see us that way."

"We weren't naked," said Adrian with a laugh.

"I know," said Daria. "But it so strange. Have you talked to him yet?"

"About what?" asked Adrian shiftily.

"About what?" said Daria sarcastically. "Do you think that I am utterly thick, Adrian Pucey?"

"No," said Adrian a touch uncertainly.

"Have you talked to him about the state of your relationship?" asked Daria.

"You are the only person I have slept with since the baccl," l," said Adrian softly.

Daria's eyes glowed.

"I…I love Terry," said Adrian hesitantly.

"I know," said Daria with a smile into his topaz eyes.

"I need him," said Adrian.

"I know," said Daria.

"I caboutbout you," said Adrian as he cupped her face in his hands. "And I want a real relationship with you."

"I know," said Daria. Her dark eyes shone in the candlelight. She smiled. "I want the same things."

"I have to talk to Terry," said Adrian with a sigh.

"Yes," said Daria. "Right now would be a good time. I don't think I can come to your room until you talk things through. I need to know he is all right with our relationship. I don't want to see Terry hurt by either of us."

"You still like him, don't you?" asked Adrian with a slight frown. He tried to mask his uncertainties.

"He's our friend," said Daria soothingly. "I am over my crush on him."

"Are you sure?" asked Adrian uncertainly.

"Yes," said Daria seriously. "It's you, I want."

"Good," said Adrian with a slight touch of arrogance, like he never doubted her.

Daria told Adrian she would wait for him the common room then left him to go have his talk with Terry. She thought about him while she was getting her books from her room. For such a handsome man, Adrian was a little unsure of himseDariDaria thought it was, in part, because he had experienced the loss of his father at such a young age. He was always waiting for the people in his life to leave him. Daria thought that another factor was that his looks had always blinded girls to the real Adrian. He real Adrian wanted someone to love him. He made her heart ache. She wanted nothing more than to show him that she would never leave and that she saw the real him. Daria waited for Adrian to come back.

The Slytherin Quidditch Captain's Room:

Terry bit his lip as he sat down at his desk. He rummaged half-heartedly through the mess on his desk. The end of term was coming and he could not find anything. He tried not to think about what he had walked into a few minutes ago. He did know that Adrian and Daria were dating now, and he was aware that they did sleep together. It was seeing it that made it all too real. He wondered if he was jealous of Adrian or jealous of Daria.

Terry drew in his breath sharply when he realized something. These unsettled feelings he was having echoed how Adrian felt about Alicia, months ago. He bleakly wondered if Adrian and he were finished. Terry jumped when he felt a cool hand on the back of his neck. He had not heard Adrian come in the door.

"I know how you feel, right now," said Adrian perceptively.

"Do you?" said Terry a touch stiffly.

"You will always have piece of my heart, Ter," said Adrian softly in Terry's ear. Terry closed his eyes and leaned into Adrian's warm body.

"I don't know why I am being so pissy," said Terry sulkily. "After all, I'm with Ally now. It's just seeing you kiss her made it real."

"Are you jealous?" asked Adrian with a slight catch in his voice.

"A little," admitted Terry pensively. "I can see something different in your eyes when you look at her. You look at her like you used to look at me. It made me jealous."

"You aren't jealous because I am kissing your ex-girlfriend?" asked Adrian.

"No," said Terry ruefully. "You deserve her more than I ever did."

"Do you still fancy her?" asked Adrian after a small silence.

Terry turned to look at Adrian. A smile was breaking over his features. "I can't believe it," said Terry with a slight hint of mockery in his voice. "Is the great Adrian Pucey jealous?"

A scowl passed over Adrian face. Then he sighed and said, "Okay, Fine then. I am a tiny bit jealous of you, mate. It's just that she had such a massive crush on you for ages."

"You like her, very much, don't you?" asked Terry softly.

Adrian nodded.

"I don't fancy her," said Terry with a grin. "I like her as a friend."

"Good," said Adrian seriously. A sudden smile lit up his face when he said, "Can you believe Tarquin Bole cornered me last night and basically threatened me?"

"He did the same to me," said Terry with a snicker. "Let me see, did he give you the Hurt-her-and-I-will-hire-a-hitwizard speech?"

"Along with the Don't-you-dare-get-her-pregnant-or-I-will-castrate-you speech," said Adrian with a laugh. "Who knew Tarquin would be so protective of his cousin?"

"They are very close," said Terry. "They were raised like they were brother and sister."

Adrian reached out and smoothed Terry's rumpled fair hair away from his face. Terry smiled at him.

"Daria wants me to be honest with her," said Adrian softly. "I love you, Terry. She knows that. She'll never come between us but I don't want to hurt her."

"I know," said Terry as he touched Adrian's cheek. He leaned in and they kissed, softly and sweetly.

"I love you, Adrian," said Terry softly. "I love you enough to give you up to her. She can give you what you need."

"You mean it?" said Adrian as his tawny eyes lit up. "You understand?"

"I do," said Terry as he suppressed a twinge in his heart.

"Do you mind if I bring her here?" asked Adrian. "Daria said she won't come if you were uncomfortable or in anyway unhappy about it."

"As long as I can bring Ally," said Terry. "Stop being such a twat to her."

"I only did that because she was being such a bitch to you," said Adrian a little sulkily.

"Do we have a deal?" asked Terry.

"Yes," said Adrian.

"Daria told me about that night I thought Alec and I…. well…you know," said Terry.

Adrian nodded stiffly.

"I know the truth now," said Terry. "So, I gather you and Daria do a lot of -"

"Yes," said Adrian as he cut Terry off. He gave Ter a long, cool, smile. "You have no idea what you missed out on. Too bad, you'll never find out."

"Merlin," said Terry. "Is the sex really that good?"

"Imagine the best you ever had," drawled Adrian as he slung an arm around Terry. "Then times it by a thousand."

"You are beginning to sound like Marcus," said Terry.

"I am beginning to know what Marcus was banging on about, now," said Adrian with a laugh.

The Seventh Year Slytherin Boys corridor:

Mariah stood outside Alec's door in a daze. Her eyes burned from the lack of sleep and the horrible realization that she had to tell someone about what Billy was forcing her to do. She could not go to Marcus. Billy said she meant what she said. Marcus couldn't help her. If Mariah tried to talk to him, Billy would find out. Billy said she had spies here at Hogwarts. In desperation, Mariah came here to Alec's room. It would not be out of the ordinary for her to come here. Although, lately she had not been up to seeing him. Alec was the cleverest Slytherin at Hogwarts; he would be able to help her. Mariah knocked on the door resolutely.

A long few minutes passed and Mariah knocked on the door again.

"What is it?" asked Alec. He looked rumpled and he was in his robe like he was just getting up. It was mid-afternoon so Mariah looked at him in surprise. Alec's face grew apprehensive when he saw her at the door.

"Alec," said Mariah in a soft voice.

"Mariah," said a very surprised and rather uncomfortable Alec.

"I have to talk to you," said Mariah oblivious to the tension.

"Now," said Alec as he bit his lip. "Is not a good time. Maybe we can talk, later?"

"Are you busy?" asked a puzzled Mariah.

Alec opened his mouth to answer her but was interrupted by a feminine voice calling Alec's name from behind him.

"Alec?" asked a husky voice. "Is there something wrong?"

Mariah peered over his shoulder and stiffened in surprise as she caught sight of Penelope Clearwater. In a daze, she watched Penelope clutch a bedsheet to her breasts. She was sitting up in Alec's bed with the sheet covering her obviously nude body.

"I'm sorry," whispered Mariah. Her heart plummeted. "I came at a bad time."

Alec grabbed at Mariah's cold hand. "I'll talk to you, later?" asked Alec. His eyes pleaded with her.

"Okay," said Mariah softly as she pulled away and Alec closed the door behind her. She fled back to her room. She didn't know why she was feeling so upset. She and Alec were never exclusive and he was engaged to someone else. Mariah sat on her bed and realized that she was alone. She had no one to turn to, now. She buried her face in her pillows and cried.

Alec closed his eyes after he closed the door behind Mariah. He rested his forehead on the door and sighed. He had been trying for ages to speak with her and now that she came to him, he was in bed with someone else. He sighed then turned back to the bed. He mentally berated himself. He had to learn to let go where Mariah was concerned. That path would only lead to heartbreak. Alec looked at the Ravenclaw girl in his bed. He gave her a lazy smile. Since he could not change anything, he might as well enjoy himself.

"Should I go?" asked Penelope. She looked into his eyes perceptively.

"No," said Alec as he shrugged off his robe. "I'll have to take care of that situation, later."

Alec pulled at the end of the sheet and slowly tugged the bed sheet away from Penelope's body. The Ravenclaw girl blushed as Alec moved up the bed like a predator after he disposed of the bed sheet.

"I have little something here that I would like you to take care of right now, though," drawled Alec.

Penelope eyed his thick erection and gave a little smile.

"Why, Alec," said Penelope huskily. "I would not call that little."

The North Tower Rooftop: Late Sunday Afternoon:

"It's beautiful up here," said Ally with a little laugh as they sat in the late spring sunshine.

"Hmmm," said Terry absentmindedly.

"Look," said Ally with sidelong glance at Terry. "It's Sirius Black."

"Hmmm," said Ter.

"What is it, Ter?" asked Alicia with a smile.

"Nothing," said Terry with a shrug.

"It's something," said Ally perceptively. "Is it Adrian?"

"No," said Terry unconvincingly.

"Is it Adrian and Daria?" asked Alicia softly.

"No," said Terry sharply. "Why would it be? He's my best mate. I am happy for him. I was thinking of you the entire time I was with Daria, so it's not her. What kind of question is that?"

"A valid question," rejoined Alicia. "She was your girlfriend."

"It's not that," dismissed Terry with a toss of his head. "It's not like Adrian is Angus Derrick, or anything."

"What about Derrick?" asked Ally casually. Her heart went thump when Terry said that last statement.

"Nothing really," said Terry with a snort. "For the last few years, Derrick has been poaching my girlfriends on a regular basis. It has turned into this perverse little game between us. We haven't played in quite some time, though."

"I thought you and Derrick were friends," said a secretly horrified Alicia.

"Oh," said Terry with surprise. "We are."

"What are you talking about then?" asked Ally.

"Back in fifth year," said Terry with a shrug. "I stole Derrick's girlfriend. Well, truth be told, I just borrowed her for a quick couple of shags. He was very annoyed. My next girlfriend, Derrick screwed in the change rooms just to annoy me. I mean really, hesn'tsn't even like blonds. It just started from there. Although, he's never attempted to shag Adrian. Our game is just about girls."

"But I thought that you and he had it off the other night," said a disturbed Ally.

"Ally," chided Terry with a wicked grin. "What harm is a little oral sex between friends?"

"You Slytherins are seriously mad," said Alicia. A small silence settled in between them. Terry was thinking about Adrian and Ally was thinking about Derrick.

"I am actually a little bit upset about this whole Adrian and Daria thing," said Terry grudgingly. "He's getting wrapped up in her."

"Is he ignoring you, Terry?" asked Alicia as she surpressed a smile.

"Yes," said Terry sulkily. "I keep thinking about that time I found you and Adrian in bed. I came this close to finding Ade and Daria in bed together the other morning. It just that….nevermind."

"What?" asked Alicia.

"It's just that…I want to know if…Merlin," said a frustrated Terry.

"Terry," said Ally as she stroked his hair. "What is it?"

"Is Adrian that better looking than me?" asked Terry in a rushed jumble of words. "Is it that he kisses better than I do?"

"No," soothed Alicia as she looked at Terry with affection.

"Then why do my girlfriends prefer him over me," asked Terry sulkily.

"I don't," said Ally. "You are much sexier than he is. Ter, I get all flustered just by seeing you walk down the halls."

"Do you?" asked Terry huskily as he ran his finger over her lips.

"Yes," said Ally. "It's all about chemistry. Maybe Daria and Adrian have the same kind of chemistry we…. Ohhhh." Ally caught her breath when Terry's hand stole up her skirt and his fingers crawled up her thigh. He slipped his hand over her mound and gave a low chuckle.

"Naughty girl," said Terry throatily. "You are completely bare." His fingers dipped into her slick cleft.

"Ter," moaned Ally.

"You are already slippery wet," moaned Terry. "Thinking about me?"

"Oh, yes."

Ally's body flushed with heat as Terry lay back on the blanket they were sitting on and urged her to straddle his face. Ally gave low moans and gasps as Terry's tongue dipped into her soft cleft. Hot spirals of excitement went through her as his tongue dipped, sucked and swirled. When he turned her so she could lean over him, Ally opened his trousers with trembling hands. His hands were kneading her backside as his tongue licked at her clitoris. Ally moaned in her throat as she took him deep inside her mouth. The next few minutes passed in panting moans and sighs. Ally was so close when he stopped. Her eyes snapped open.

"Please," said Ally. She got to her feet when Terry pulled her up. She still had her clothn bun but Alicia felt utterly legless. She let Terry lead her to the waist high wall around the edges of the tower.

"Hold on," said Terry. He leaned her over the wall. Ally clutched the stone edges. He pulled her skirt up and then slid his cock deep inside her aching pussy. Ally could see the other students walking around the grounds far beneath her. Terry rocked into her with long, slow thrusts.

"We are so high up," said Ally, her voce high with a touch of fear.

"Yes," moaned Terry. "I have you. Don't be scared. You aren't afraid of heights, are you?"

"No," said Ally as she moaned. Her sheath tightened on his driving erection. "I love to fly."

"Ally," said Terry. "Let me take you on a ride."

Ally threw back her head to look at the sky as they began to move with each other. She was so aware of him. He was pulsing back and forth inside of her and the rising excitement was making her dizzy. She clutched at the wall.

Terry bit his lip as she fluttered against his driving cock. He held on to her hips as she keened his name. He rocked his hips from side to side and smiled as she screamed his name a moment later. He slammed into her again and again. Just as he felt his orgasm creep up his spine, he pulled her hips up against his and spurted deep inside her. He closed his eyes and gasped her name. Just before his kneese oue out, he drew her near and pulled her to lie on the tower roof with him. They panted together until Terry could remember his name again.

"That," said Ally with a contented stretch. "was better than flying."

"I know," said Terry. His blue eyes were gleaming.

"I like being here with you," said Alicia impulsively.

"I do too," said Terry as he smoothed her hair from her face. "Would you like to come to my room later tonight?"

"Why wait until tonight?" asked Ally with a raised eyebrow.

"A girl after my own heart," murmured Terry. He leaned in for another kiss.
