Snapes Girls *Complete*

It was June and tomorrow, Saturday was graduation day then Hermione would be heading to Spinners End for the summer with Severus. She had been accepted to the Magical University in an all wizarding town called Edningville. She would be starting in October and she assumed that she would have to get an apartment in Edningville and hire someone to watch her son. Hermione turned on to her side, she was waiting for Severus to finish up his last potions class and had decided on a small nap. However the more she lay there the more she thought about the upcoming college term and how different her life she was going to turn out and it dawned on her…she and Severus were breaking up. Sure it wasn’t happening now but at the end of the summer she would be going to college and he back to Hogwarts, they wouldn’t see each other anymore and then…they would break up and she would be a single mother. With this thought in mind she burst in to tears with heart wrenching sobs.

“Are you sure?” Lucius asked his best friend “I knew that you two were getting close but…are you sure?”

“Yes” Severus answered “I love her”

“But…marriage?” Lucius asked.

“Is it a good ring?” Severus asked showing his best friend the ring he had picked out the weekend before. It was a white gold band, a white diamond that had pink diamonds around it, it almost looked like a pink rose.

“It’s beautiful” Lucius said “I feel like my little boy is growing up” He smirked making Severus glare.

“I just…” He looked over at Remus then at Lucius “All joking aside?”

“What is it?” Remus said.

“After this summer she’s going to be going to go to college” Severus said “And getting her own place…guys will be hitting on her…I just want her to be mine”

“You’re doing the right thing” Remus assured him “And you’ve got great friends, if I do say so myself, with a great support system”

“You guys will help if there are problems?” Severus asked hating how needy he sounded.

“As much as we can” Remus promised while Lucius sneered behind the werewolf which earned him a kick in the shins.

“Fine, we’ll help” Lucius said “Talk with us if you need it”

“Okay” Severus said.

“Ask advice if you need it” He continued

“Right” Severus agreed.

“Suck my dick when you realize that your actually gay” Lucius snickered and even the great, loyal and sweet Gryffindor known as Remus Lupin burst out laughing.

“Oh ha ha” Severus glared at him “Now I know where Draco caught his homosexuality from”

“Shut it!” Lucius hissed.

“How’s that going anyway?” Severus asked.

“Hermione said that we need to treat him the same” Lucius said “That we need to love him and let him know that we accept his choices but I don’t know if I can do that”

“Why can’t you?” Severus asked confused “He’s your son…the same son that you had at Christmas and last year…the same son that Narcissa gave birth to and you taught to fly on a broom and play Quidditch”

“But…” Lucius looked pained “He likes…men….men!”

“If you turn your back on him because of the sex of the person he loves” Severus said “Then what kind of father are you…what kind of man are you?”

“So if your son decides that he’s gay…” Lucius started.

“I will love him no matter what” Severus answered without hesitation “He will be…he is my son and nothing will change that”

“Sometimes” Lucius said “I really admire you”

Severus entered his and Hermione’s living space and instantly became aware of the sobbing noises that were issuing from their bedroom and his heart started to pound in fear. He ran in to the room and found his beautiful Hermione curled up in a ball on her side sobbing uncontrollably in to the pillow under her head. Severus ran to her and nearly jumped on to the bed and gathered her in to his arms pressing gentle kisses to her forehead and temples.

“Honey” He pulled her back and looked at her “Why would we break up…unless…do you want to?”

“No!” She gasped “I love you so much…but I’ll be at University and you’ll be here and…”

“Oh Hermione” He smiled “Always rushing things before they are meant to happen”

“What?” She asked.

“I was intent on asking you tomorrow after graduation but…” He stood up and reached in to his pocket and pulled out a box “Hermione, I love you more than life itself, will you marry me?”

“Yes…but” Hermione looked at her huge belly “It will have to be after the baby comes”

“No” He answered firmly “I want him to be born to my last name. I want the ministry to know that he is my child, legally. We’ll get the paperwork done on Monday and then have to ceremony after the baby is born”

“Okay” She smiled “But what happens when I go to University and you’re here and then…”

“We’ll work on it” He whispered “That’s what a couple does…they work together and make the impossible, possible”

“You’ve been reading” She smiled “Couples books?”

“Couples counseling books” He said “I wanted to know what I was signing up for”

“Oh you!” She hit him playfully “I don’t know what I am going to do with you…but I’ve a few ideas”

She gave him a flirty grin and pushed him on to his back, it had been a few days since they had had sex because Hermione had decided that she was huge and didn’t want to be seen. “I don’t know” She said, she looked pathetic with her normally pink or purple hair was plain brown hair and her eyes were not an exotic color but a boring brown color “He hardly talks to me, he won’t sleep with me and he never spanks me”

“He’s not cheating on you, Tonks” Severus said “He’s been buying things for your guys’ daughter” He looked at her “He’s been planning a baby shower for you…you’re not supposed to know”

“Really?” Tonks and Hermione asked at the same time “Oh isn’t he sweet...oh, I’m going to go fuck him!”

“That is so romantic” Hermione moaned “I wish that was me” with that she walked away and Severus knew that he had his work cut out for him.
