As the birth of their child approached, Harry was surprised at the in depth preparation Wyatt's mother and aunts put into it...especially considering a male was going to be giving birth to the child and not a female.
Although considering they were Witches the male part didn't seem to be a problem at all.
They had prepared Wyatt's old room into a birthing room with sterilization potions and the tools that they'd need for the birth. While there were many spells, there wasn't one to use to deliver a baby so they'd have to do it the old fashioned way; with a scalpel to cut into his stomach, and a salve which would close the wound as soon as it was applied courtesy of Severus Snape.
It wasn't only the delivery room that they were preparing though. Piper, Phoebe, and Paige helped Wyatt set up the nursery as well.
That was where Harry currently was sitting. He was sitting in the rocking chair beside the window in their new house which was located right across the street from the house Wyatt grew up in.
In all honesty, he was glad to have Piper and the others because he was terrified about giving birth. While he knew it happened and that wizards didn't die in childbirth as much as they used to, Harry was afraid that without all their preparation, something would happen.
But he knew that with Piper, Phoebe, and Paige there he'd be fine. Especially since all three of them had given birth to all of their children at home.
Smiling at Wyatt when he orbed into the room, Harry allowed him to carry him into their bedroom where they usually ended up cuddling just feeling their baby kick.
“Everything's all set for the birth.” Wyatt said.
Nodding, even though he heard the same answer every time he sent Wyatt over to ask-usually about three or four times a day-Harry cuddled up to Wyatt and allowed himself to drift off to sleep for a little while before the baby would wake him up because it was tap dancing on his bladder...but it was worth it.
