Chapter 27
Chapter 27
Del snickered as he listened to the most foul, most obscene words come form the pristine Mrs. Lupin. Things had calmed down since the arrival of several Healers from St. Mungo’s. Gavin was being treated for severe head wounds, Ron was being fitted with a prosthesis leg, and Lucius was being analyzed for why he was dying and what the survival rate for the child if they transferred the pregnancy to Severus was.
Del let Remus back into the delivery room at Rose’s insistence. She wanted her husband to suffer every pain she was suffering. She planned to hold every agonizing moment over his head for the rest of his life. As much as Remus tried to console his beloved his wife, Rose would have none of it. Remus had always thought his transformation was the worst thing he could live through. After eight hours in the delivery room with his irate wife he now knew better.
Del wanted to reassure the woeful werewolf that she really didn’t mean all the horrible things she was saying to him but thought better of it. He’d rather have her rail on Remus than him.
“Rose, concentrate on the baby and leave your husband alone for a few minutes. The next push should very likely be giving you a beautiful baby girl.”
“Del,” Rose spoke between clinched teeth, “I’ve always hated you.” With a blood curdling scream the baby broke free from Rose’s body. Edelman held the baby for the two parents to see before he went to clean her. To his immense surprise Remus started to sniff the babe, taking her scent in. Then he started to lick his child clean.
“Remus I appreciate the fact that you are a werewolf but I don’t appreciate you slobbering all over my patient. Let me clean her up properly then you can get to know your daughter better.” Del pulled the child away from his father. He could hear a deep growl as he turned his back on Remus.
“She’s beautiful isn’t she?” Rose sobbed.
“There has never been born a more beautiful child.” Remus pulled his wife into his arms and held her.
“We have to name her.” There was desperation in her voice that startled Remus.
“We don’t have to decide right this moment. We can wait a day or two.”
“No… it has to be now. This won’t be real unless she has a name.”
“Then we must give her a name and make her very real,” he soothed his wife. Del brought their daughter back in and handed her to her father.
“Let me finish up with your wife. The after birth should be coming soon.”
Remus counted her fingers and toes over and over again. She was perfect. His small world of himself and his daughter was interrupted when Rose called for him. He carried his small bundle to his wife and placed her into her mother’s waiting arms.
Like a bolt of lighting her name appeared in Remus’ head. “I don’t know why but we must call her Emma Christine Lupin.”
Rose Marie smiled and looked into the eyes of here husband. “If we must, we must.”
She looked down at her daughter. “Welcome to our world Emma Christine Lupin.”
The door squeaked open. A familiar head poked around cautiously.
“Is it safe to come in?” Harry asked.
“Come in Harry and meet you betrothed.”
Beaming, he walked to the bedside and looked at the tiny bundle of joy. He didn’t see anything special about her. Cute, but weren’t all babies cute?
“Would you like to hold her Harry?” she asked.
“Um… yeah, I guess so.” He reluctantly took the baby into his arms. A golden glow slowly engulfed the two of them. Harry’s heart raced, all the blood drifted south, landing in his groin. Tossing his head back, he screamed out an orgasm.
With a snarl and a growl Remus took his child from a sated Harry.
“That, will the last time you hold my daughter until her seventeenth birthday… understand?”
Taking a deep breath, Harry looked at his godfather and understood his life was in jeopardy. “Sir, I give you a solemn wizard oath that I will never touch your daughter again until her seventeenth birthday. Merlin,” he sighed heavily, “it’s going to be a very long seventeen years.”
Rose Marie giggled as Remus handed her back their daughter. Remus growled, for good measure, at Harry.

The Healers had chased Draco out of Ron’s room. Feeling rather guilty he went in search of his son. With Rose Marie going into labor the job of watching over Tyler went to Hagrid. Draco liked Hagrid to a certain extent but found that he and Tyler were mentally the same age.
His heart stopped when he saw Hagrid in an open field flying a kite in the shape of a very large dragon. Tyler was nowhere to be seen.
“Hagrid, why aren’t you watching Tyler?” Draco was panicking.
“Draco, no need to worry, I’ve keep my eye on him every minute he’s been with me.”
“Hagrid, where is my son?” Draco ordered.
“Up there of course.”
‘Up there… oh no.’ Draco looked up into the sky and saw his son giggling and waving madly at him.
“Hey Dad, up here.” Draco could barely hear his son’s voice.
The Slytherin’s jaw was clenched tight. “Hagrid, bring my son down… now!”
“Anything you say Draco but it seems such a shame since he’s having so much fun.”
“I want his feet on terra firma.”
Hagrid started to wind the rope back into a ball, bring the kite back to earth.
“Aw Dad, you no fun.” Tyler folded his arms across his chest and stuck his lower lip out.
When Tyler’s dragon hit the ground Draco pulled him forcefully off the back and held him until his son could no longer breathe. Pushing the boy an arm’s length away, he looked over to be sure nothing was amiss. All of his limbs were attached, no bruises, no contusions.
“Aw Dad, don’t cwy, I’m fine.”
Draco touched his cheek and found tears had indeed fallen.
“I love you so much, I can’t stand the thought that something might happen to you.”
“I was fine… Hagwid took good care of me.” Draco placed Tyler on his hip and thanked the half-giant for taking care of his son and headed back to the castle.
“Bye Hagwid.” Tyler waved his small hand. “Next time we can go into the fowest again.”
Draco stopped dead in his tracks. Shaking his head, he continued up the path, some things were better not known.

Severus and Armstrong were having a heated argument. Twice, calming potions were given to the ex-Professor. Armstrong refused to even listen to his request to carry another man’s child.
“I don’t plan to raise the child, just give her a chance at life.”
“What about our own child, would risk his life for the sake of another child?”
Severus felt as if Armstrong had slapped him. “How could you even ask that? I would never put another before our own child.”
“Then how can you even contemplate doing what you want?”
“Because I have too. I don’t have any other reason but the fact that something deep inside me is telling me that if I ever want our son to be happy, I must let this little girl live.”
“If it’s that important let someone else carry her to term.”
“By losing one child my body will readily accept another, in much the same way a cat will feed a litter of puppies that have lost their mother.”
“Severus, I almost lost you. You were in a coma for weeks. I can’t go through that again. I’m going to ask Del to do whatever he has to, to prevent me from impregnating you again.”
“You’ll do no such thing.” He gave an exasperating sigh. “I have over the last few months let you believe that you were the dominate male in this relationship.” Severus raised his hand to silence his lover. “I have played the game and made you happy. This is no longer a game to be played. I love you… as your equal. Side by side I will stand by you not behind you. But at this moment I will take a step forward and lead this family and you will shut up and listen.”
Armstrong nodded. His mouth slightly opened.
“You will not see Del to get yourself ‘fixed’. I find I like being pregnant and the thought of having more children does not fill me with dread. Indeed, I think I might look forward to having many of your children. Now, about Lucius’ child, I will carry that child to term and will give her to her brother to be raised as a Malfoy. With Draco and Ron as her parents she will turn out with the best of both the Gryffindor and the Slytherin. I will take on the mantle of being her godfather and that is all. You will not argue with me about any of these decisions. After everything settles down, I will happily submit to you once again and look forward to your disciplining me. I have so missed a good spanking.” Severus smirked at the Daimon.
“You have been in charge since the beginning of this relationship,” Arm stated.
“No, it was when I stopped fighting you and started to enjoy our marriage when I took over. No true Slytherin would pass up a chance manipulate their relationships. Now go tell that perverted friend of yours that I am going to have the fetus transplant.”
Armstrong gave in. “If you weren’t so big with child I would spank your ass ‘til you couldn’t sit for a weak… speaking to me that way. Who ever heard…?” Arm was mumbling as he left the room.
“Arm?” Severus called his husband.
“Yes?” Arm grumbled.
“I’m going to keep you to your word about that spanking. And Arm?”
“Yes?”
“I love you.”
“And I you.”
