Title: What I Did During The Summer

Summary: Hermione is due to start her seventh year at
Hogwarts. However, she has a little surprise for Harry and Ron, one that will
test their friendship.

Chapter 25: Lily’s New Home

            It took
several days for Lily to return with Remus to his home. She had been thinking a
lot about what her son had said and about the fact that it was clear that he
hated Severus being happy. She sighed and shook her head. She wished that
things had gone a lot differently.

            Remus home
was located in an area that was mostly woods, which meant that a werewolf could
go hunting and not get seen by people. His home left a lot to be desired, but
it was not something that couldn’t be fixed with a little cleaning.

   “Make class=GramE>yourself at home,” he told her.

            He went
into the kitchen to get some tea and Lily sat down and looked around. A few
minutes later Remus returned to her and gave her her tea.

   “Are you alright,
Lily?”

Lily shook her head.

   “Is it about what
Harry said?”

Lily nodded.

   “Look, he’s always
going to hate Severus, it’s something that has driven him to do the things that
he has done. Trust me; your words aren’t going to make him see sense.”

Lily bit her lip.

   “I know, but I hate
to know that their daughter is going to be the center of hate from my son and
from any children that his wife might have.”

Remus was silent.

   “Has Severus even
asked to be forgiven for what he has done?”

   “Yes.”

   “Then why can’t
Harry accept that?”

   “I don’t know,
Lily, I don’t know,” Remus said. “But I’m sure that James would have supported
Harry’s choice of hating Severus. Even if it’s no longer warranted.”

Lily got even mad.

   “Well I’m not going
to set here and let Harry get away with it,” Lily hissed. “I think that he
needs to be removed from some of his advance lessons. Maybe not being able to
do the things that he wants or even likes will change his tune.”

Remus thought this over.

   “He was banned from
the Gryffindor Quidditch team a couple of years ago.”

   “Then I want him
banned this year.”

Remus wanted to protest but decided against it. Lily was mad
and he didn’t want her to get mad at him.
