A/N: Remember, this is an epilogue, which generally means "after the story ends." I'm not sure how far in the future it is, but it is in the fu. I. I meant it to be left up to individual readers' interpretations.

Goodnight, My Angel
Severus surveyed his surroundings with exhausted and blurry eyes, an odd combination of awe and pride stirring within him. A tiny smirk perked up the corners of his mouth as he caught the sight of the massive, imprudently expensive, elaborate white dress Hermione had insisted on wearing today sitting by the door where he'd undressed her. There was something so symbolic about that dress which, in and of itself was so symbolic, being crumpled in a ball, forgotten in the corner of his room.
Not his room. Their room.
She was his now, truly his, and no one and nothing would ever separate them again.
For the millionth time that night, Severus' eyes fluttered to her left hand and the ring she now proudly wore. It amazed him. No one in his life had ever loved him. No one but Hermione.
Yawning despite his hectic thoughts, he snuggled down closer to Hermione and closed his eyes, determined to actually get some sleep tonight. Sleep was elusive, though, and as the minutes dragged on, Severus became a bit agitated. Sighing, he began to hear Hermione singing that sweet lullaby to him in his head. He smiled at the memory of that childish melody, and soon had drifted off, cozily entwined with his new wife.

Now it's time to close your tired eyes
There's demons to slay and dragons to ride

Thank you to everyone who has reviewed and inspired me to keep writing! I love you, and you cannot even begin to know how much your kind words mean to me and how much they actually do inspire me. Thank you all so much! I mean that, from the bottom of my heart!
And just so you know, I will be taking a break from fanfic for a while. I'm too stressed in real life to be giving you the quality writing you deserve with timely updates. Also, I'm also taking a bit of a break from HG/SS. It's nothing against that ship, but I have SO many more bunnies and ships that I adore, that after writing two novel-le HG/ HG/SS stories, it's only fair to branch out. I believe my next story will be a Spuffy (Spike/Buffy from BtVS for those of you who don't know), but I'm also currently working on a Phantom of the Opera fic that may be done first. I'm currently forcing myself to finish all stories before I post any of it, because I don't want to keep anybody who may be reading hanging like I have during this one (and for which I profusely apologize). Also, I'm working on an HP/Buffy crossover. For any information on updates you can check my livejournal account (potionmistressm).
