Staring at the innocent looking metal rings on the floor, Harry remembered when they were wrapped around his ankle, keeping him from leaving or even having a moment of peace. The choking feeling that welled up when ever he moved and heard the chains clinking on the floor and the cold metal digging into his skin...

Stepping away from the shackles, Harry cast a glance to the old man's body in the corner of the room. He was the one that captured and kept Harry in this room, shackled to the walls, never able to be free all because he had a messed up idea that Harry was the only one who could destroy an evil he had created in his mind.

Turning away from the body, Harry made his way out of the room and walked straight by the detectives that had found him and into his lover's arms. It had been five years since he had been able to be held in Draco's arms and feel safe and at peace, but as soon as those arms wrapped around his waist, everything around them seemed to slip away.

“Come on, honey our parents can't wait to see you again. We've all been so worried about you.”

Nodding, Harry allowed himself to be led out of his prison, relaxing against Draco's side. He was finally free of his shackles.
