Harry had given up any hope on finding his one true love when he realized everyone in the Wizarding world only wanted him for his name and fame. Even Ginny. She wanted him because she saw him as her 'fairy tale ending'. She loved him because he saved her life and she saw that as the beginning of their life with three kids, a dog, and a white picket fence.

But Harry didn't love her. He didn't even like girls. Sure he went out with them, but it was because it was what was expected of him. He stopped doing that when the girl he had been dating had been attacked by Voldemort and the Death Eaters because she was dating him.

Besides he needed someone who could match him in power and, to be honest, he wanted someone that could protect him. He was tired of being the one that had to protect everyone all the time.

No matter how he looked he couldn't find that person though. He gave up hope of it happening and almost resigned himself to picking someone that he'd have to protect for the rest of their lives, but then Dumbledore asked a group known as 'The Charmed Ones' for help and they came with their family to help.

It was during a raid where Harry found that Wyatt Halliwell was all that he wanted...and it seemed like Wyatt wanted him just as much.

During a raid while Harry was distracted by a duel with Bellatrix, a masked Death Eater had tried to strike him from behind with a vicious curse that would have torn his body apart from the inside out. Wyatt, however, had struck him down before orbing the spell towards another Death Eater.

When they had returned to Hogwarts, Harry had escaped to his room for some relaxation. Halfway there Wyatt had approached him and pressed him into the wall before he kissed him.

Pulling away, Wyatt panted for breath while saying, “I'm not going to let them hurt you. They'll have to go through me first. You're mine.”

“I'm yours am I? Well you're going to have to take me on a date first before I agree to that.” Harry said with a smile.

“I'm not opposed to that. I'm going to have to find somewhere special to bring you.”

Grinning, Harry leaned forwards and cut off Wyatt, whom was talking to himself, with a kiss.

While they made out in the hallway ignoring anyone that walked by, Harry only hoped that he'd be able to keep Wyatt now that he had the person he's always been looking for.
