Snape did who in the Potions Master's Office?
A/N~~ The title is in homage to Avanell, who has asked just who might have visited our favorite former Potions Master during Draco's and Hermione's tenure at Hogwarts. Nope, sorry, no lemons, not even a lime.
It's short, but things are getting perkier!
Until next time,

“You’re evil. You knew I was there with Hermione.” Draco hissed at the Headmaster who sat behind his old desk with his feet propped up on it, crossed, while he waited for his successor to arrive. Severus smirked.
“In my defense, I did try to stop her from going in there once I did realize you were there. Adrianna hadn’t even seen your boots in front of the fire.”
“You miss nothing though.”
“Actually, I think I’ve missed something for awhile. Now that you’re here, I can see all too clearly. A little bit of your Jekyll cousins in her face, near her eyes, and her hair is blonde, not as blonde as yours and Narcissa’s, but blonde anyway.”
“What are you blathering about?” Draco’s eyes narrowed as he listened to Severus. By the time he and Hermione got a chance to tell the truth to Adrianna, she’d be the last person in her life to know. She’d be pissed.
“Adrianna. She looks like your Aunt Andromeda and some of your father’s cousins from France, and I never bloody well noticed it.” The Headmaster shook his head at his own inattentiveness, but then he’d always assumed her to be a Weasley. “I can’t believe I didn’t see it before. Of course, Weasley was a pure-blood too, so perhaps I just chalked it up to the rampant inbreeding. It was when you two shared the Head suite?”
“No, we argued one night during rounds; I teased her and she got mad. God she’s beautiful when she’s angry! I’d had a crush on her since she punched me in third year, you know.” He told his former Head of House confidentially. Severus rubbed the bridge of his nose as he listened to his protégé. His first year as Headmaster was going to be memorable at least. “I guess Weasley offered to marry her. I don’t know if she would have told me then, if he had. But, he was a good father, right?”
“He loved Adrianna more than anyone other than Hermione. He was a great father, and the two of them were eagerly awaiting the birth of their son when he and Potter confronted Bellatrix.” Severus sat up and leaned forward over the desktop. “What are your intentions, Draco? I won’t have you turn my school into a battleground. If you’re shagging Hermione just so you can get in good with Adrianna, then stop it right now.”
“My feelings for Hermione are none of your concern, Headmaster.” Draco said stiffly.
“It is my concern. I’ve watched her with those children, struggling by herself for almost nine years. I will not have you come in here and destroy her. She is a good friend and my Deputy Headmistress.”
“We’re telling Adrianna together this weekend.”
“Alright. If that’s what Hermione thinks is best. You two need to decide about how it will be let known to others, if you choose to do so at all. Remember though, that you may have been a part of her conception, but Ron Weasley was her dad, and she’s been raised to think of him as such. She’s been loved by the Weasley clan, so think about that before you raise a ruckus with them.”
“They must not have influenced her that much: she ended up in Slytherin.” Draco smirked, then joined Severus’ chuckle.
“True. Just be careful. I care about them.” Severus warned the younger Potions master. Hermione had come to be like the daughter he’d never had, and her children were his surrogate grandchildren. That admission was the closest he’d come to telling anyone he loved them like family.
“I care about Hermione, too. I just don’t know what to do…we’re like bloody fireworks every time we’re together alone.”
Severus smiled. “I’ll have to have Rosmerta up here sometime again. She’s missed the old desk.”
“Tell her this one’s taken. She can try out the one in the Headmaster’s office.” Draco smirked at him with one eyebrow cocked at him. Severus shuddered as he caught a bit of a memory from the blonde man.
“I’m sure she’ll enjoy the upgrade. I’ll see you tomorrow, then, Professor Malfoy?”
Draco opened the office door for his mentor and godfather. Severus left in a billow of robes, reminding the younger man of his youth as a student here. He closed it behind him and entered his own quarters. With a sigh he checked on Lilah. Her blonde hair was spread across her blue pillowcase, the small nightlight illuminating her face. She looked so angel lying there. It was hard for her father to believe that she was so grumpy while awake. Tomorrow, he’d have to write to Alicia. He hated hurting the girl even more, but she wouldn’t believe him; he’d have to let Alicia turn the girl down, and he’d have to be there the mend her broken heart.
He grabbed a beer from his ice box and opened it. He toed off his boots and slumped into his favorite chair, the only piece of furniture he’d insisted on reducing and bringing with them when they’d moved. He reclined it and sighed. He hadn’t had a chance to lay in repletion with Hermione because of their daughter’s interruption. Gods, he ached, but now that the chaos has abated, he could just enjoy it. ‘Just two more days until dinner with everyone. Then a whole new level of chaos can be attained.’
He groaned and pressed the can to his forehead. He’d gotten slightly attached to American beer and had transported some with him when they’d moved back to England. He thought about what his future held and reminded himself to order more tomorrow before his first class.
