hope: It was more of a battle of honor than anything else. Nott was more motivated than Ron and that gave Nott a slight edge. That, and Dumbledore railroaded Harry again like he did. No, the loss of the slave came from Marietta's father's political gaming.

Nott had a smug smirk on his face as he held Marietta. Her father had unknowingly helped him by forcing Potter to choose Li over keeping Marietta as Looney's slave. Ron's defeat was still the talk in the Slytherin common room and Nott was enjoying that. However, there was something he needed to address with Marietta.

"Listen, I know we still have to get revenge on those two, but right now I think we better wait until the start of next term. We've managed to come out on top over Potter and that's not been an easy feat to accomplish this year." Nott explained.

"But Looney and Weasel..."

"I know, but if Draco can pull whatever he's pulling, we'll be in a better position to hurt those two next year. Right now, let's enjoy our victory shall we?" Nott asked and Marietta sighed in agreement. Victory was theirs and she should enjoy it. Besides, if Dumbledore was to die, perhaps that would leave the door opened for them to strike at Potter and his friends again.

"Are you sure you can go with him when you two can't possibly get along now?" Hermione asked."

"Got no choice, 'Mione. I've got to know what he's using to guard these damn things. I'd stun the old man and take the information from his mind, but I'm not sure I could actually get away with that. Everyone, keep your guard up. The headmaster and I will be off school grounds and if your son's going to do anything, that'll be the perfect opportunity for him to strike, Cissy." Harry said.

"Don't worry, we'll keep on guard." Narcissa affirmed.

"Good. I'm going to close off the link. I'm not sure how far we'll be going so I don't want to try and strain our magic if we've got to fight off something that's guarding the horcrux, or if Draco manages to get some of Tom's boys inside the castle." Harry finished and he vanished to the headmaster's office.

Voldemort stood outside the gates to the grounds. He wasn't going to go in until he saw the mark. The Carrow siblings, Greyback, Dolohov, Yaxley, along with other lowly but loyal servants were being let in by young Malfoy. Seeing the mark, Voldemort's face broke into a vicious grin. Looking up, he saw two brooms flying towards the castle. Raising his wand arm, he focused and fired off a familiar green curse. The spell crashed into the tail of one of the brooms and it spun out of control and crashed to the ground while the other continued its trek onto the tower.

'Should have kept your connection to me boy, or you would have seen that coming.' Voldemort thought before entering the grounds and making his way to the crash sight.

"Bloody hell," Harry moaned out. He wasn't having a good night and apparently it was about to get worse. He knew what spell had hit the broom he was riding and he knew exactly who would have been able to cast it to do what it did.

"Have a nice flight?" Voldemort joked.

"Tom." Harry growled and got to his feet. He checked and felt the ring that Dumbledore had given him before they went out was still in his pocket.

"Good to know that you know how to fall without killing yourself." Voldemort joked yet again. He needed to give his men time to accomplish their task, so talking to the boy would kill enough time. 'Snape, you better prove yourself to me tonight.

"Who are you!?" Alecto demanded of the hooded figures that had been dueling the brother sister pair of Death Eaters. The two cloaked figures looked at each other an seemed to come to a silent agreement.

"Why Alecto, you should have recognized my dueling style." a female voice came from under the hood and the figure throws the hood off to reveal to Alecto's horror that it was Bellatrix.

"What is this?" Amycus growled.

"Now Amycus, don't start acting like Greyback, that would be insulting to werewolves." Narcissa said after revealing herself as well.

"What!? You've switch sides!?" Alecto shouted.

"I should have never been on your side to begin with." Bellatrix hissed. "Hey Cissy," she called to her sister, "I think we ought to have a contest against these two to see which pair of siblings are better at tag dueling. What do you say?"

"Hmmmm, do you think they'd be any sort of a challenge for us?" Narcissa asked and Amycus fired off a curse and the four started dueling.

"I found you!" a voice shouted. Hermione turned and saw the same Death Eater that had injured her when she had went to the DoM last year.

"Dolohov," Hermione let out. She buried her nervousness of seeing the man before him.

"If I were a few decades younger I'd rape you before killing you, but I think I'll just cut you up into little pieces for Potter to find, if he survives that is." Dolohov said and fired off the same curse that had gotten Hermione the last time. Giving a quick mental 'thank you' to Bellatrix and Tonks for the hours of training, she dodged the spell and began her own duel.

"This is madness!" Gabrielle shouted, her French accent coming out.

"Stay focused!" Tonks ordered. She had become the defacto leader of the rest of the harem since Hermione had been separated from the rest of the witches. "Behind you!" Tonks shouted at Lin who swiftly turned and took out the Death Eater that had tried to attack her from behind. "Good, I don't know what the hell you're doing, but keep it up!" Tonks called to Su Li who was performing some sort of magical martial arts that was baffling the Death Eaters.

"You've got to teach me that some time." Cho said after the last one had fallen.

"I think I could do that." Su said with a smile.

"I think we've cleared out..." Anastasia began but Greyback plowed through her and continued his charged up to the Astronomy tower. Lin quickly came over and helped her to her feet.

"Crazed animal!" Susan shouted.

"C'mon, we better find Hermione." Tonks said and the others agreed. They knew that Cissy and Trixy were holding their own.

"Looks like Harry was right in letting Tonks and Trixy train us." Padma said.

"Yeah." Susan agreed.

The two continued to circle like two animals ready to attack each other.

"We going to circle each other like this all night?" Harry asked.

"Impatient are we?" Voldemort asked. Then, He caught sight of Dumbledore's corpse hitting the ground. "Accio Dumbledore's wand!"

"Shite," Harry quietly swore and then called, "Diffindo!" in order to break the wand. Unfortunately, the spell missed by a mere millimeter. Harry swore again as Voldemort began laughing.

"I have you now! The elder wand is mine!" Voldemort celebrated.

'Elder wand? What is he going on about. No time," Harry thought and fired off another spell. Voldemort shielded himself and continued to laugh. His men came pouring out of the castle with Snape carrying Malfoy over his shoulders.

"Excellent work Severus, you proved your loyalty to me tonight!" Voldemort called. "You killed Albus like I knew you would. I'd like to stay and continue to play and test this hallow's abilities, but I've got other places to be." And with that, Voldemort left, but he cast a fire spell setting Hagrid hut on fire.

"Snape!!!" Harry shouted in rage as the Death Eaters and their master left the grounds.

The door to the medical wing exploded open and Harry stormed in. He sighed in relief seeing that his girls were all ok. He saw that Hermione was beaming like she'd already passed her NEWTS.

"'Mione?"

"Dolohov and I had a discussion. Apparently he almost didn't have the stomach for it." Hermione said with a mischievous grin. Harry chuckled and turned to see that apparently the secret of his body guards was out, but the sisters didn't seem to care all that much seeing that they were grinning like their Alpha was. He turned to see that Bill appeared to have had a run-in with Greyback. Odds were good that Bill's mother would make some stupid comment about the wedding being called off and Fleur would probably start a shouting contest. He fingered the locket that was keeping the ring in his pocket company.

'Old man, this better have been worth it.' he thought, but something was telling him that there was something off about the locket besides it being a horcrux. He pushed those concerns to the back of his mind. The aftermath of Dumbledore's death would have to be dealt with first. The way McGonagall was staring at him meant that that she was going to constantly question him until either he got on the train, or he broke down and told her the whole dam story.

'Hermione, have Ron asked Luna before we leave for summer about how she thinks Voldemort survived. I want to know what might have put it in Dumbledore's head that Tom made horcruxes. And, why the bloody hell did Tommy call Dumbledore's wand 'the elder wand' and what he meant by 'hallows'?' Harry sent that last question to the entire group. Narcissa and Bellatrix looked concerned. If Tom had the 'death stick', then Tom had become more dangerous than before. But, if the wand existed, then they already had another hallow in their possession, the cloak.

Hope you enjoyed that chapter. As for the duel back in 24, I tried to write a fight scene, I really did, but nothing came out right. Hope I did a better with the action in this chapter.

Ok, should I do a couple of down time chapters that take place at Hermione's? I was thinking of having one of the witches teach him how to swim...that could lead to smutty situations. Plus, Su's got to be inducted and Train Cho in her fighting style as well.

Speaking of smut, someone reviewed and pointed out that my smut, due to the shier am mount of it, was getting boring. How does everyone else feel about that?

I also would like suggestions on how to use Tonks's metamorph abilities better. And, have I given a clear enough of a picture of Lin and Anastasia? If not, any suggestions will be appreciated.

Next, the funeral, Harry and the minister talk, Harry and his head of house have a long talk, Luna informs Ron that her mother was the one that turned Dumbledore's theory into fact, and the students leave for summer break.
