When I began to come to consciousness it is to the sound of moaning. Very loud moaning. Growing up with my parents I am no stranger to the noises of pleasure, or pain, that humans can make. However, never has the sound been so close to me.

I am not sure if it's my continued silence, or perhaps I am giving my Mother a look, because abruptly she is taken out of the surreal moment.

I take my eyes away from the pale girl to look into my Mother's eyes. If what Harry said is true, then my eyes must be pure silver now, nothing like the blue of my Mother's. "Yes, Mother. I understand."

I nod my head in understanding as my Mother spells Akane's clothes back on her. In an instant Mother and Akane are gone and as I throw up across the wooden floor I can't help but wonder if I will make it to see another day at Hogwarts.
