Hermione sat up in bed and stretched her arms high over her head, yawning widely.

She looked over at Draco. He was sleeping silently, his chest rising and falling rythmatically.

She laid back down and looked at him. She’d never seen him sleep so peacefully.

“I guess its true,” she thought. “You always sleep better in your own bed.”

His eyes were closed and his lips were kind of pouting. She could see his eyeballs rolling under the lids, signaling he was dreaming. His eyebrows knitted together, as though something was upsetting him.

Suddenly, he bolted straight up in bed.

Hermione jumped back in surprise, staring at the wide-eyed Draco.

“What is it???” she cried.

“I dreamed we left the front door open and the baby crawled away!!” he half shouted, looking around the room wildly.

She tried hard to stile her chuckles, it was obvious he was upset, but she couldn’t help it.

“It’s not funny!” he hissed at her, still looking slightly crazed.

Hermione covered her mouth with the blanket, now full on laughing.

He swatted her with a nearby pillow, before laying back down beside her.

“We’re going shopping today. Excited?” he asked, smiling at her.

“Yea, a bit.” she replied.

“We should get dressed and head downstairs. Breakfast is going to be served soon.” he said, sitting up and swinging his legs over the side of the bed.

“Alright,” Hermione replied. “I want to take a shower first though.”

“I bathed you last night!” Draco said, looking confused.

“Yes,” Hermione chuckled. “And then you got me dirty again. And don’t say you bathed me. It makes me sound more like your pet than your girlfriend.”

“Alright, alright...Can I come too?” he asked, hopefully.

She narrowed her eyes and stared at him.

“Okay, but I’m showering only!” she said, emphasizing the last two words.

He nodded eagerly and they made their way to the shower.

Hermione smacked Draco’s hand away from her breast for the fifth time.

“If we don’t hurry, we’re going to miss breakfast!” she hissed at him.

She turned her back to him and squeezed some shampoo into her hand, rubbing it through her hair.

She felt his hands slide up her back and enter her hair, pushing her own away.

She smiled as he massaged the pads of his fingers over her scalp.

She turned around to face him and began rinsing it.

He leaned forward and placed soft kisses on her collar bone.

“Can I wash yours now?” she asked when the soap had been successfully rinsed from her own.

He looked at her warily.

“I think I’d prefer to wash my own.” he said.

She pouted at him before changing spots with him so that he was now under the water spewing out of the large shower head.

She watched the water trickle down his body. His head was leaned back and his eyes were closed, letting the water spill over his hair and face.

The shower suddenly felt terribly hot to her.

He raised his hands to his hair and began massaging soap into it.

She felt her breathing quicken and she absentmindedly licked her lips.

Her hand reached out to gingerly touch his abs with the tips of her fingers, but she quickly pulled it back.

“We’re showering only!” her mind yelled at her.

“But I can’t help it!” she whined back. “I’ve gotta think of a way around this...”

Draco jumped when he felt her massaging his abs with a warm, soapy loofah.

“I thought we were showering only?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Well, technically, we are showering aren’t we?” she said, looking up at him innocently.

He leaned in and kissed her lips.

They took turns, trading the loofah back and forth, bathing each other.

Draco seized her by the hips, lifting her against the shower wall. When Hermione felt him lingering just outside her opening, she snapped back into reality.

“No, no!” she said, swatting at him and trying to wiggle loose. “We need to go! We’re going to miss breakfast.”

She wiggled once again, but Draco held her tight, pinning her with his weight against the wall.

“I will buy you something when we go out.” he said, attempting once again to enter her.

She moved and he ended up nudging into her thigh.

“No,” she began. “Your mother is obviously lonely and we should go have breakfast with her.”

“I’ll buy her something too now please hold still.” he pushed forward once again, only to be successfully dodged a second time.

“It’s not the same as spending time with her.” Hermione stated.

Draco buried his head in her neck and growled in frustration.

She felt guilty, so she slipped her arms around his neck and patted his head like a small child who had just scraped his knees.

“It’s okay...” she cooed at him. “I promise if -OH!” she cried in surprise as he attempted once again to quickly thrust into her while she was distracted.

“Draco!” she shrieked, giving him a hard smack on the back.

He groaned in irritation.

“Do you feel this?” he asked, taking her hand and placing it on his erection.

It jumped when she wrapped her hand around it and Hermione could feel it slightly throbbing.

Guilt washed over her once again.

“Alright,” Hermione said, relaxing back against the wall. “You win! I’ll just lie here and -OH!” she cried once again.

He had seized his opportunity and was now moving rapidly inside her.

“I guess reverse psychology doesn’t work on him.” she thought to herself.

“We’ll see how he likes it when I don’t respond!” she added as an afterthought.

She bit down hard on her bottom lip, stifling her moans.

Draco on the other hand, was happily groaning into her neck.

He seemed to notice her lack of enthusiasm. He lifted her a little further and wrapped his mouth around one of her nipples.

Hermione groaned through clenched teeth.

Draco smirked and moved back up to her neck, kissing and sucking on it.

His pace began to quicken and the suction on her neck seemed to get harder.

His hand moved down to massage her clit and Hermione soon felt herself climax, as did Draco.

While in the throws of her climax, she felt Draco’s teeth sink into her neck.

Her mind panicked, but at the time, it actually felt good.

He let her legs slide down to the floor, letting her hang onto him for support.

When she had regained her strength, they both re-bathed and exited the shower.

Hermione walked over to her trunk and opened it.

After slipping on her underclothes, she sorted through and found a pair of faded blue jeans and a soft black sweater.

She dressed quickly and stepped back into the bathroom, wiping the condensation from the mirror.

She picked up her brush and raised it to begin brushing her hair when something caught her eye.

Large, red-purple blotches all over her neck, accented by a large bite mark in the center.

She screamed in horror, only to hear Draco laughing from his bedroom.

“I look like I have Leprosy! What am I supposed to do about this?!?” she cried.

“Umm....not push me away next time?” he chuckled.

“This is SO third grade! You’re like a spoiled little kid!” she raged, stomping back into the bathroom.

She stopped in front of the mirror again, surveying the damage to her delicate skin.

She felt him slip up behind her and wrap his arms around her waist. She elbowed him and wiggled, but he held her tight.

“Watch...” he whispered.

He raised his wand and pointed it at her neck, mumbling something under his breath.

The blotches began to fade, leaving just her smooth skin behind.

“Why didn’t I think of that.” Hermione frowned to herself, feeling very silly.

“All better!” he smiled, kissing the newly cleared skin.

She half smiled up at him, still feeling a bit angry with him, but not so much anymore.

He led her down the stairs toward the dining room.

Mrs. Malfoy was already there, sipping her tea and reading The Daily Prophet.

“Good morning, mother.” Draco greeted her.

“Good morning Darling!” she smiled, obviously happy to finally have human interaction.

They took their seats next to her and began to fill their plates.

“So, what time did you plan on leaving for Diagon Alley today, darling?” his mother asked, digging her spoon into her grapefruit.

“Probably right after breakfast.” he replied. “You’re coming along, right?”

His mother thought for a moment.

“Yes, I suppose I could.” she smiled back. “How did you sleep last night, Hermione dear?”

“Very well, thank you.” she answered, looking up at Narcissa.

“That\'s nice, dear.” she said, turning back to her plate. “You know, you’re the only female that I’ve ever let spend the night in my Draco’s room. That horrid little Parkinson girl has tried but-”

“That\'s enough! Thank you mother!” Draco interrupted.

Hermione smiled downward. She loved seeing him with his mother and she thought it was cute how embarrassed he got when she started cooing over him. Plus the fact that she had just called Pansy “that horrid little Parkinson girl” did nothing but improve her opinion of Narcissa.

They finished their meals and rose from the table.

Draco stepped toward the fire place and grabbed a container with Floo powder in it.

“Are you sure that\'s going to be safe for Hermione in her condition?” His mother asked, gently taking hold of Hermione’s arm.

Draco stopped and scratched his head.

“Maybe we should just take the carriage then.” he stated.

After slipping on their cloaks, they stepped outside the front of the house, where the carriage was awaiting their arrival.

Draco helped Hermione into the carriage, then his mother.

The carriage rumbled along and Hermione stared out the window.

The silence in the carriage was broken by Draco.

“So what would you like to buy today?” he asked Hermione.

“I’m not sure.” she smiled back.

“We need to pick up some new robes for you.” he replied.

“Why?” she asked curiously. “I’m not showing that much yet.” she said, looking down at her tummy.

“I can see it.” he answered.

Both Narcissa and Hermione gasped.

“Are you calling me fat?!?” she cried. Narcissa reached out and took Hermione’s hand, shooting Draco a disapproving glare.

“No, I’m calling you pregnant and we’re buying you new clothes.” he stated sternly, indicating there was no room for argument.

She sighed and turned back to stare out the window.

She never considered that her tummy would become noticeable this quickly.

Soon, lines of buildings and bustling people came into view.

The carriage jerked to a stop.

Draco stepped out first, turning to help his mother and Hermione out onto the street.

“Where would you like to go first?” he asked, looking around at all the stores.

“There!” Hermione cried pointing toward a store with windows decorated with tiny building blocks and a display model rocking horse.

Hermione and Narcissa were several steps ahead of Draco, walking quickly toward the baby store.

Upon entering, they both began to squeal and coo at the adorable baby clothes.

“Oh! Look at this!” Narcissa cried, holding up a pink lacey dress. “She has to have this! And this! And this! And this!” she squealed, throwing various sleepers, onesies and bibs into Draco’s arms.

“I think she might be a little more excited about this than I am!” Hermione chuckled to herself.

She began to wander around the store, looking at the various sweaters and booties.

“See anything you like?” Draco whispered, wrapping his arms around her.

“I like those.” she said, pointing to a pair of booties with little pink bows on them.

“That\'s it?” he asked, looking confused.

“Umm...yea, so far that’s it.” she smiled back.

Hermione turned to notice a very stressed shop keeper struggling to keep up with Narcissa, catching various baby items as she threw them over her shoulder to him.

“Besides, I think your mother is buying enough clothes for 20 children.” she laughed.

“Yea, she\'s pretty excited.” Draco said, taking Hermione by the hand.

They walked passed several displays, browsing, but when Hermione reached the baby furniture display she literally squealed with delight.

There sat not just any cradle, but the cradle of her dreams.

It was white and the outside was lined with tiers of pink lace and ribbon.

Inside was soft pillows and an eyelet blanket. Nestled inside was a soft tan teddy bear.

There was a small mobile attached to the top with tiny winged unicorns hanging from it.

She ran her fingers delicately across the material, mesmerized by how beautiful it was.

Her finger’s trailed to the price tag...and she literally fell backwards in shock.

Draco’s arms snapped out to catch her.

“What is it?!” he cried, looking between her and the cradle wildly.

“I could never afford that even in my wildest dreams!” she said, shaking her head incredulously.

Draco looked at the price tag.

“I can!” he said, looking at Hermione.

“No!” she said, dragging him away from the cradle. “It’s way too expensive.”

She took one last, sad look at the cradle before heading back up to the front of the store.

Narcissa was waiting happily at the register with three very tired looking shop attendants all holding large amounts of baby clothes.

“What did you find?” she asked, looking curiously at Hermione.

She held up the small pair of baby booties.

“AWW!” Draco’s mother squealed.

Draco accompanied the attendants to the register to pay for the items.

Hermione stood at the door and watched him curiously.

In the sea of pink, she noticed one small light blue sleeper.

She watched Draco talking to the shop keeper while paying for the items, then slip the tiny blue sleeper deep into the pocket of his cloak, before taking the bags of clothes and walking toward the door.

She frowned to herself.

“He must be a little sad about having a girl.” she thought. “I’m sure he must have wanted a boy.”

“Are you ready to go find you some things now?” he smiled at her, unaware that she had seen him buy the sleeper.

“Yes, I suppose so.” she half smiled back at him.

“Come on.” he said, slipping his arms around her and making their way across the street.
