Housewarming and Wands

The character of Lucius Malfoy belongs to J.K.Rowling. I am only borrowing him for a while. No copyright transgressions are intended and no profit is made.

Chapter Twenty-Three – Housewarming and Wands

Lea and Lucius played all over the estate, finding ways to make love in the oddest spots, both inside and outside. Even Lucius himself hadn’t already used all the areas they initiated together. He was especially fond of the old child’s swing they had found attached to a tree in the back, lush, natural part of the estate. It had been Draco’s many years ago and brought back some bittersweet memories of the son he’d probably not see again. But the swing had been found to have new life in a totally different way. They’d refurbished it with a soft material on the seat and had covered the side chains in padding. No use in getting pinched just when they needed their concentration elsewhere.

Lea had been fascinated with it and liked to swing with Lucius pushing her. That soon changed into them both swinging naked with Lucius under Lea and connected to her by his cock. The swing’s movement provided its own rhythmic seduction, as Lea held on and Lucius enjoyed her breasts, either from the back or the front, depending on the arrangement of their bodies. Often, they had wound up on the grass below, finishing their business roughly because both of them were so on fire. Whenever they decided to swing, they brought a blanket with them for the grass; after their first session in the grass sans blanket they had both come away miserable with blotchy skin and severe itching. They’d spent an hour in the bathroom pooltub scrubbing and laughing at each other’s mottled bodies because Lucius’ spell for repairing skin hadn’t worked very well on a surface rash from a ‘nontoxic’ source. Luckily it was good for removing bite marks and numerous love bruises.

After her initial shock, Lea developed a fixation on screwing in every chair and on every sofa in the main drawing room. The numerous groupings of furniture in the vast room meant nearly two months of concentrated effort to anoint all the sitting pieces. A few times they lost track of which pieces they’d already done, and had to retrace. They might have gone faster if they hadn’t also made repeated forays to all the other places they found sexually amusing on the estate. Lea wanted to stamp out her fright for the mammoth room and Lucius valiantly assisted her in her quest, only complaining when he had to be the one sitting on any of the antique horsehair furniture. It chafed his bum and he lost his focus. While Lea wasn’t looking, he quietly had several horsehair pieces transferred to other rooms and replaced with other less painful furniture.

Lucius had had to discuss contraception with Lea, because she was no longer protected by the strong spells of the prison. He thought she might have been a little disappointed that he wanted to protect her from pregnancy, but he wanted everything in its correct order with no forced decisions that Lea would regret. He discarded the idea of trapping her with a pregnancy. She was strong enough to refuse him marriage and then where would he be with one of his progeny legally belonging only to her? He tried to keep a positive attitude about her staying with him, but his worries got the best of him now and then.

Lea was both saddened and relieved that Lucius required contraception spells for them. Being a mother was a scary premise for her, but she knew she wanted Lucius to be the father of any children she had. She wasn’t sure if Lucius would ever want her as a wife or even to have any children with her, so for now contraception seemed a good compromise. She hoped her being a Slytherin type was a point in her favor, but she couldn’t come right out and ask about future babies with him. He might not want any more and it would damage their relationship if he baldly said no, so she let the idea go for the time being.

One sunny day Lucius made her dress in a particular suit outfit, a soft green with black trim; he added a silver serpent brooch in an ornate “M” with the eye made of an emerald. He finally announced he was taking her shopping. Lucius wanted her displayed as his Slytherin female when he ventured into the public eye again. Lea had precipitated the trip because she had been fascinated by his snakehead cane, and when she found it contained his wand, she was awestruck. He let her practice a bit with his wand, but it was like having a beginning rider trying to control a stallion. He had to reluctantly deny her after she set the curtains in his study on fire, promising her a wand of her own instead. After putting her off several times, he finally decided to brave a public place and make good on his promise.

He Apparated them to Diagon Alley, and placing her hand on his arm, he strolled slowly along allowing Lea to gawk at all the people and storefronts. She was utterly mesmerized, and not a little scared of all the people and the strange place, but she had been prepared by Lucius as best he could ahead of time with multiple moving photos, so the initial shock was less than it might have been. The difference between the pictures and the reality was the noise. Lea clutched Lucius’ arm tightly, diminishing his circulation and making his hand tingle. He gently pried up her fingers, loosening her hold, so she clutched the fold of his cape instead, making him wince with the inevitability of wrinkles.

“Shall we look for your wand first?” Lucius asked, hoping to finish this trip quickly.

“Oh, yes, please. Where is the wand shop?” Lea asked inattentively, busy watching an old witch in long purple robes stroll by with a cat under her arm, then twin first year Hogwarts students being hurried along by their parents, their little cauldrons clanking.

Lea was looking in so many directions at once, Lucius worried that she was going to hurt her neck. “Just over there,” he replied, walking her briskly over to the door of Ollivanders. Lucius almost had to pull her inside, she was so busy looking at the other store displays and people.

At once the proprietor came forward saying, “Ah, Mr. Malfoy. I do trust your wand is still working after its five-year hiatus. What may I do for you?”

Lucius stared impassively at the old man, recognizing the veiled insult, and tamping down his temper. He decided Lea’s wand was more important than any retaliation. He knew this was only a shadow of what he could expect from his community. He had a transitory feeling of depression, but resolutely banished it from his mind to concentrate on Lea’s needs.

“I require a wand for this young lady.” Lucius said nothing more, partly from trying to hold his tongue at the old owner, and partly because he knew he didn’t have to explain anything more anyway. The wand maker would handle the rest.

The wand maker looked at Lea, then looked at Lucius, and smiled rather cynically. “Slytherin, eh?” He pulled out several boxes of wands and had Lea try them out. After several disappointments, she finally found one that recognized her. She could tell at once that this one, a small ebony wand with a dragon’s heartstring, was meant for her. Lea was delighted and looked up at Lucius, her face proclaiming her joy.

Lucius basked in her pleasure, enjoying her happiness. A cloud ran across his pleasure as he felt her slip more thoroughly into his heart. He definitely wanted to keep her, but he hadn’t wanted to make himself vulnerable to her by opening his heart to her.

Lucius paid for the wand and they left the shop. Ollivander watched them leave, knowing exactly what he had seen flit across Malfoy’s face. He’s fighting but he’s hooked, the old wand maker thought in amusement. Maybe she’ll keep him out of trouble this time.

Lea wanted to see more shops, so Lucius was dragged all over Diagon Alley, finally calling a halt when she wanted to enter a toy store. “Enough, Lea. We can always come again. You needn’t see every last corner of the place today.”

Lea could see he was getting cranky and she had been towing him into every place she could see. “Alright, Lucius, take us home. We can come again another day. And I promise not to take so long next time.” She tried to cajole him with an impish smile, which he reluctantly returned. “You’ve been very patient with me, Lucius, and I’ve had a marvelous time. I’ll have to think of some way to thank you for this lovely treat.”

Lucius’ deteriorating temper revived at her not-so-subtle offer and he whisked them back to the estate right into their bedroom. He wasn’t being very subtle either, but neither of them cared.
