Hermione buried her face in her hands.

Seriously?

Had she become Minister for Magic for this?!  

Resentfully, she stared at the gigantic pile of scrolls, feeling like burning them all to a crisp.

Did she honestly have to review the file titled, "The most notorious dark wizard of the century"? More like "the utmost absolute failure of an attempt at being an even mildly competent wizard of the century", or better yet, "He Who Doesn't Need To Be Named Because He Never Amounted To Anything", a mere blip of mild disturbance in history, she considered, disgruntled.

Her forehead banged against the solid wood of the desk. She'd wasted years of her teenaged life on this sorry excuse for a wizard. She wasn't going to do so as an adult either. Determined she raised herself up and pulled her wand. Nobody would ever have to deal with Tom Marvolo Riddle ever again if it were up to her.

And it was. 

Her office lit up from the flames the parchment produced. 

This was even easier than his pathetic cup's resistance. 

She never noticed the soft, eerily cold laugh that left her lips.
