 Chapter Twenty One

“Let Me Introduce Myself”

Walking into the forest I tuned my magic not to alert my grandson of my presence as I stayed watching him as he swam in the lake. I must have spent an hour when I realized my grandson was being watched and it wasn’t by me. Transforming into a dense fog I floated to where I sensed the signature. Retaking my shape I was a few feet behind the intruder. As I observed him, I saw long blond hair, tall aristocratic stance, yet he was young still.  As he spun around to face me I saw the wand he held in an attack formation. Using the air I whipped it from his fingers into the forest.

“You dare threaten an elemental with a mere stick boy! You are lucky I didn’t set it on fire for the insult.”

“Who are you and what are you doing on school grounds?”

“I am none of your business boy, what I want to know is what you were doing spying on my grandson.”

“I was doing no such thing!”

“Really then why are you here if not to observe my grandson in his private moments.”

“I had no idea he was your grandson, I apologize if I offended you sir. I am Professor Draco Malfoy, may I escort you to the headmaster. If you are an elemental then you decided to meet and listen to what Dumbledore has to say and join our side of the war.”

“We care not for your petty squabbles your problems are your own especially those you create yourself.”

“Then why are you here if not to join the light side?”

“My grandson resides within the castle.”

“Really if that wonderful creature in the lake is your grandson then I have as of yet met him, I do not truly understand how he could be living at Hogwarts and not been seen. Is he an elemental like yourself?”

“Indeed, now I must be going.”

“Yes I will escort you to Headmaster Dumbledore myself.”

“Very kind of you.”

Dressing after a few hours I sat and let the sun dry my hair, humming as I ran my fingers through the grass I stayed there soaking it all in and I felt it all just become at peace and I left the lake with a sense of peace. Braiding my hair over my shoulder as I walked I began reapplying my glamour spells and went to my chambers to order dinner and rest. I should have known that the idea itself would cause the exact opposite to happen and true to my prediction Dobby popped next to me saying that Dumbledore needed me immediately and frankly if it was to rehash what we discussed this afternoon he was going to get blasted. He caused this mess and now I was going to clean it up my way.

“Ah you have come dear boy.”

“If this is about earlier or the fact that you were served with papers as the muggles say get over it, I will see you in court Albus.”

“Harry I assure you it has nothing to do with anything like that.”

“Hello Harrison.”

“You again? Didn’t I already make it clear I wanted nothing to do with any of the crap you bring with you?”

“You two know each other?”

“Of course the moment Harrison’s magic released itself, it called me here and I have come to collect my grandson, he has no reason to remain here any longer.”

 “Oh please, like I ever want to go anywhere with you, I already told you I wasn’t.”

“It is not a choice as one of my blood you belong with the other Elementals, it is your destiny, and you are the future leader, the one to succeed me.”

“The what! You’re kidding right because I have about had it with people claiming that I have a destiny to follow. As far as I am concerned my life is mine to do with as I wish.”

“You should not be so hasty Harry; I mean both sides can certainly benefit from us becoming allies.”

“Like I would let you manipulate anyone else? Pay attention both of you, when I am through with you old man there won’t be a light side I mean have you thought about how you are going to finance your side of the war with no money. You no longer have access to mine and when the suites are done you won’t have any you’ll be lucky if you retain your position here at Hogwarts. As for you I already said no I have no desire to become a recluse or become one with a tree or what ever Elementals do. I am simply a man, one who has a lot to catch up on. Now I really must be going I must eat dinner.”

“I apologize for Harry, I am sure in time he will grow to accept his place.”

“Do you dare speak to me about my grandson? I know of your deceit and thievery. The transgressions you have perpetrated against my people and my family, you deserve death, but it is not our way and we have retreated from the world of magic for very good reasons, but things have changed over time and we will no longer sit ideally by while you seek to steal or destroy what nature has gifted to our people. Your time of manipulations is coming to an end, all I have come here for is to try to return with my grandson, he suffers here daily, yet he will not leave till he has his justice and I am inclined to assist with his quest. Mark my words I will see this world burn before he comes to harm again, then what will you and that reincarnated manic do then? This society has lost it’s true connection to the mother and has forgotten it’s true blessings.”

“You have no idea how we suffer or how many we have lost, if your people would just help us I’m sure we could work something out.”

“Help you for a problem you created yourselves, you are the ones responsible for that evil and yet you continue to give it power against you and place all your hopes on the shoulders of a boy.” Now good evening I must go.”

Searching the grounds I went on to searching every hall and passageway I could think of trying to locate the younger Elemental. If the elder was correct his grandson was in the castle and had been for awhile, yet I had never seen that delightful creature in the hall for meals, on the grounds I really never see him except when he is at the lake. But if he was here I would find him, there was just something about him that drew me in like a moth to a flame, he made me completely forget my problems and pain over my ruined relationship and I wanted to meet him, spend time with him.

Moving onto the next hall I couldn’t believe what I was seeing at first Harry was walking down the hall and you could feel the anger radiating off him from fifteen feet away.

“Move Malfoy!”

“Please Harry, we should talk.”

“What do I care for what you want, now move!”
