Chapter 21
On Sunday morning Harry got up and went to the bathroom. Severus got up right after him and made the bed, beating Kreacher to the task. When Harry came out he ordered Severus to the loo and when Severus came out he found a galleon on the bedside table. He did not understand the amount and assumed that Harry had no change so he went to the drawer and got his money bag out. He was trying to calculate how much change was due to his husband when Harry announced that they were going down to breakfast. Severus was walking towards Harry with his whoring money bag.
“What are you doing with that?”
“You are owed change. I believe that seventeen sickles and…”
“Put it away,” he ordered and Severus complied. He would not allow Harry to get upset today. He had worked hard to calm him down and it would not be him who undid his effort.
Once at the breakfast table, Kreacher began serving an over the top breakfast with everything a wizard or witch could want. Millicent was smiling and placing big amounts of food in her mouth. Harry and Richard giggled but Severus was not amused by the feat. Harry decided to show off his ability to gulf down big amounts of food when an owl landed on the window sill. Kreacher got the letter and gave to his Master. It was the announcement of the birth of Ron and Hermione’s baby. At the end was a thank you note for the basket.
“When did you send them the basket?”
Harry seemed impressed with Severus’ promptness, but Severus did not want to take credit for something he had not done.
“Kreacher was instructed to deliver the basket as soon as the child was done. I do not have a clue as to how house elves know these things but they do.”
Harry looked at Kreacher and thanked him. Kreacher was beaming. Harry was looking at the proud elf but his mind was back on the announcement. Would he have received an announcement if not for the fact that Hermione had to send the thank you note?
Severus could see that Harry was far away and wondered what had captured Harry’s attention.
“I believe the children will benefit from a bit of fresh air. Why don’t we take them out to the back porch?” he said, bringing Harry back from his musing.
“Yeah, that sounds like a good idea,” agreed Harry, looking at Milly for her approval. She simply smiled.
They walked the children around the garden. Millicent and Harry were holding Baby’s hand and prompting him to walk. Richard was getting better at the task by the day. He only needed one of Papa’s hands in order to move. They stopped to look at each of the little planting nooks and Severus would tell the children the names of the plants. Harry rolled his eyes at the unfruitfulness of the act until Richard saw a plant he recognized from past strolls through the garden and said, “Mint!”
“Yes, mint is the common name for mentha. Do you think you can say men-tha?” He said slowly in an attempt to get Richard to repeat: he simply giggled.
Harry rolled his eyes. “Snape! Give him a break. He isn’t one and he can already recognize a plant. I think that is pretty amazing.”
“Sir, it is not prudent to set our standards low with our child. He is a very smart child and is very quick to learn. Why limit him just because of his age?” argued the professor.
“That’s the professor’s mantra ‘Never limit your potentials,’” piped up Milly, with a knowing smile.
“I am glad you can find it funny,” said Harry with a smile. “Meanwhile he is raising my child to be a dungeon bat,” he said with no real malice in his voice.
At that moment an owl flew over them and landed on the window sill with Harry’s latest edition of Quidditch Daily. Richard saw it and said to his Dada, “Up, dada, up!”
“I think that is a great idea. I will get my broom and we will go for a ride. Now that is a useful skill you will need to learn before going to Hogwarts,” said Harry, speaking to his son but looking sideways at Snape.
***
Harry brought out his broom and Milly watched as the professor placed Richard in the front part of the broom where Harry could grab on to him. Harry sped off with his little boy as Milly and Severus looked on, Baby unaware of his surroundings as usual.
But no sooner had Harry left the ground he was landing with a crying Richard in his arms. Severus rushed to their side.
“Is he afraid of the height?” asked Severus, aching to take the child in his arms but knowing that it would not be prudent to do so. Richard needed to find comfort in his Dada also.
“No, he was fine but then he realized he could not see you and started to cry for you,” explained Harry, still on the broom and holding on to the now a sobbing Richard.
“Oh, I see, just a touch of separation anxiety then,” diagnosed Papa.
Harry knew Snape was right, Richard only felt secure when Papa was around. He was about to hand Richard over to Severus when Severus shook his head.
“I think it is time for him to cut the umbilical cord. I believe that if you take him back up and bring him right back down when he begins to get anxious, he will understand that he is in control and he will be able to prevail over his insecurities,” Severus hypothesized.
Harry thought about it then concluded that Severus was seldom wrong so he agreed to give it a try.
“Say bye to Papa,” said Harry taking Richard’s hand and waving it. Off they went again and back they came again.
“Hi Papa,” said a cheerful Harry with Richard’s small hand in his. Richard smiled and off they went again.
The next time they landed Severus took Richards little hand in his, “Silly baby, are you having fun? Are you making Dada go around in circles?” Richard giggled while Millicent looked on in amazement. Richard was the child of a Marked One but Harry treated him as if Richard was the child of a prince. She knew of no other Guide that treated his child quite like Harry did.
No, that wasn’t true. Draco’s Guide threw their son a party. Could you believe it? She wished now that she could have gone, if only for a little while. It felt like forever since she’d had cake but she knew she had no right to ask. And singing. How she missed singing along with Pansy on her bed, pretending they were the Wyrd Sisters.
How dare they?! Milly could feel herself getting hot. How could they just rip music and Pansy and love away from her? Just because she wanted to be with her friends and to please her family more then she could be brave or smart? When she was only eleven? She could believe that Professor Snape would get a Guide who would care for him. After all, he’d cared for them. And he was a war hero. But how was she different to Draco? What had she done to deserve Lang as a Guide? What had her little baby boy done to be saddled with such a horrid name?
She sighed and looked down at Baby, still too small and too silent. She’d had a peek at the baby books Harry had around the house. Baby should be doing a lot more things at his age that were coming so easily to Richard. But what could I do? thought Milly as she hugged her little boy.
Soon the game was over and the broom did not land until two hours later. Severus could see the exhaustion in Richard’s face but he had to feed him before the child could take a nap. Kreacher had set up a picnic and Harry sat down to eat while Severus sat leaning against a tree trunk and fed Richard. Harry had taken only two bites when he looked over and saw that Richard was asleep and no longer was latching on to Severus’ nipple. That could not help Snape’s condition. Harry scooted closer to them and was surprised to find that Severus was not worried about himself but for Richard.
“He barely fed,” said the Marked Man with concern.
“Snape! I assure you he will not starve because he missed a meal. When he wakes up he will feed to his belly’s content,” chastised the Guide, taking his child from Snape’s arms and placing him on the blanket next to Baby where Millicent was patting Baby’s nappy in order to get him to sleep. Then he turned back to Snape. “Now, what are we going to do about you? If this continues, that discomfort of yours is going to turn into real pain.”
“Sir, I assure you that you need not worry. I am fine, thank you.”
Harry gave him a look of *I am not buying it* He looked over at Millicent who was watching her Baby next to Richard. She looked sad. Harry looked down at the two babies and saw the reason for her pain. He child was still a fragment of the size of Richard. Yes, Baby was looking better by the day but he still was nowhere near Richard’s weight or height just as Harry would never be as big and strong as Dudley.
“Have you decided on a name for him?” asked Harry out of the blue and startling Millicent out of her musing.
Millicent looked up at him confused then she bowed her head. “He has a name, Sir,” she said in a very meek tone and attitude.
“Look I know of loads of people that never use their given name. I am sure that we can get that birth certificate fixed, but we can’t do it now without revealing your whereabouts. Why don’t you pick a name and we will all start using it and when the time is right we will fix his legal papers and he doesn’t even have to know about it. Agreed?”
Millicent looked at her professor for guidance. Snape gave her an encouraging smile.
“I do like Baby.”
Harry looked to Severus with a ‘is she kidding?’ look. Severus looked away. Harry was on his own.
“Look, Millicent, I know it is an endearing term but he is going to grow up to be a bloke and blokes don’t go around with names like *Baby*,” explained Harry, trying to make her understand without making her feel bad.
Severus looked down at his hands and suppressed a smile. Harry made the right choice choosing a career as an Auror. Teaching did not come natural to the kid.
“Can I think about it?”” asked Millicent.
“Sure,” said Harry, glad to be ending the conversation. His biggest and constant fear was to frighten Millicent. He needed to prove to her that he was not a monster.
***
Harry was lying on his back with his eyes shut but not really sleeping when he heard the Millicent’s soft snore. She had fallen asleep next to the children. Harry propped himself up on his elbow and looked at Snape who was looking at the trio sleep with a worried look on his face. Harry gave him a quizzical look.
“I believe Poppy should examine Baby as soon as possible.”
“I can see big improvements in his health,” asserted Harry.
“Yes, you are correct but if we compare both of their progress we can see that Millicent, short of growing a full mane of hair, has fully recovered. She is eating well and is able to feed her child without any problems, while Baby is still so unaware of his surroundings.”
“So you do think something is wrong?”
“I am not a trained physician therefore I can not make that kind of diagnosis but I will feel much at ease once a trained professional as Poppy has seen the child.”
Harry gave Severus’ words some thought. Severus knew about these things.
“I am sure that Poppy will make the house call. She knows they should not leave the house. I will set up a money bag for you from my Gringotts account. We do not accept charity in this house. Make sure you make that clear to Poppy.”
Severus could see by Harry’s words that he already considered Millicent and Baby part of the family. This could be a good thing but it could also me a dangerous one. Harry tended to grow attached to people way too easily and fast. Severus worried. And why was Harry giving him a new money bag?
“Sir, I believe I already have a money bag.”
“Snape! How many times do I have to tell you that, that is tainted money? You will not use it on the children. Is it understood?” said Harry, lowering his voice gradually. “That money serves one purpose and one purpose only,” now he was whispering. “So you don’t forget who you really are. Is that clear?”
Severus nodded.
“I want to hear you.”
“Yes, Sir, very clear.”
“Good, now in the morning I will go to Gringotts before going to work. I will open a money bag account for you. I will have Kreacher deliver it. Once you get it you can have Poppy come see Baby.”
“Shall I send the money bag back to you once I have paid Poppy?”
“Now what good would that be? Don’t you get it? I am opening an account for you. I am sure this will not be the first time you will have to pay for something around here. Remember you are head of the house when I am not around. You have to make sure Milly and the children are well taken care of. I am counting on you.”
Severus didn’t know what to feel about this. He was moving a bit uncomfortably on the blanket.
“Do you have any questions?” said Harry, when he saw the man squirming.
“I would not know how much would be appropriate or when it would be prudent for me to spend money,” said Severus, foreseeing loads of problems with this money bag.
“You’re a smart bloke. I am sure you’ll figure it out.”
***
That night when they got to the bedroom Severus still looked distracted. Harry started undressing and announced that he was going to take a bath. It took Severus a couple of minutes to go over and help him undress. Severus went into the loo and ran the water but was completely oblivious of the fact that Harry had gotten in, taken a shower and now was waiting for Snape to put the towel in his hands to good use.
“It would be nice to be able to dry myself up. If only I had a towel,” said the Gryffindor amazed at how gone Snape was.
Severus reacted to the comment and dried his husband with the mentioned towel. Harry saw that no sooner was he dried; Severus’ mind left the bedroom yet again.
“What is wrong with you?” he practically yelled.
Severus looked at the door.
“Look, I make sure to cast silencing charms every time we are in here, so stop worrying about that. And stop changing the subject, what is wrong?” he restated.
Severus wanted to say that he had not changed the subject but that was really irrelevant.
“Sir, I am very uncomfortable with the whole money thing,” he dared.
“Are you still on that?”
Severus lowered his head meekly and said: “I do not wish to cross you Sir.”
“Yeah, you wouldn’t want to cross the monster; would you?”
Harry felt his blood begin to boil. He could not believe it. He was trying. He was trying so hard. He whipped out his wand and swirled it around himself as if it were a cowboy lasso and in a blink of an eye he was dressed in his flying outfit. His broom came zooming in through the door, the windows parted and Harry was off, leaving Severus in a complete state of shock.
What had he done?
***
Harry came back in the middle of the night and found Severus sitting on the floor next to his chair by the hearth. Severus silently got up and helped Harry out of his cloak. When he met no resistance he completed the deed. Harry got into bed and turned to face the wall. Severus took off his clothes and lay in bed next to Harry and came up close to his back. He whispered into his ear.
“It was not you I was fearing, but myself. You do know that I need your constant guidance or I will stray.”
Harry thought about what Snape was saying and turned onto his back so he could look Snape in the eye.
“You said you would never run away. Would the money be too big of a temptation?”
Severus shook his head. “No, Sir, I will repeat it as many times as you need me to do so ‘I will never abandon you’ until the day you put me out in the streets I will be here for you.”
“I told you not to worry about that.” Harry realized he sounded pathetic, so he decided to add, “Richard would never forgive me if I kicked you out. So what exactly are you afraid of doing with the money?”
Severus had to think fast. He had calmed Harry down and he had his attention.
“I do not really know, Sir, but I just do not think it is wise for a person with my past to have access to your money,” he said, hiding his eyes under his hair. “Please remember that I need your constant guidance. That if I have come thus far it is because you have not allowed me to stray from the correct path.”
Harry looked at him and was pleased by his words. Yes, he had helped Severus achieve a semblance of a good life. Severus had not been as difficult of a student as he had anticipated but still it had been Harry’s firm hand that kept the man in line. Harry moved the hair away from Snape’s eyes and tucked it behind his ear. Severus sighed in relief.
“I tell you what, when it comes to the babies and Millicent you can use the money and then tell me what you purchased. You must always tell me. Do not let me get the bank statement and find out that you brought something without telling me. Is that understood?”
Severus simply nodded.
“But for anything else you will have to ask first and remember I will always know what you spend the money on. Is that understood?”
Again Severus nodded making the strand of hair come un-tucked. Harry once again put the hair in its place.
“It is unbelievable, but you have found ways to please me.”
Severus closed his eyes and savored the moment. Harry could see his pleasure.
“Listen, I know we did it last night but…”
Severus jumped out of the bed and went to get the lube. He got on all fours and Harry could see him measuring the distance so as to give Harry the best view. His forehead was on the floor and both hands were cradling the lube. He looked like a man making an offer to a god, Harry. Only Harry was on the opposite side. Harry got up and went to the bathroom he took a long time in there, leaving Severus in the uncomfortable position.
When he finally came out he sat in his chair so he was in front of Severus and his offering.
“Lube,” came the monosyllabic order.
Severus scooted around the floor and turned his body away from Harry to give his husband the desired view. Harry did not object.
“That is enough,” he said after a very short period of time. “Come here.”
Severus crawled over to his husband. By the look of surprise in Harry’s eyes Severus saw that he was not expecting him to do so.
“Stand and face away from me.”
Severus complied.
“Sit on it.”
Severus looked over his shoulder and saw that Harry was holding his manhood in position. He walked back a step to bridge the gap and began to descend but it was awkward because he didn’t have anything to hold on to. If he held on to the armrest he would not be able to spread his cheeks apart for easy penetration. Harry decided it was not working and got up, bumping his cock into Severus. It was the big cock this time. The powerful one. Harry grabbed him with one hand over his neck and led him to the bed. Once there, he seemed to consider the best position, so he lay down on his back.
“Mount me,” said Harry.
Severus put one knee at either side of Harry’s hip and in a kneeling position found the task easier to accomplish. Again Harry was waiting for him with his cock in hand. Once Harry was nudging at his entrance Severus reached back and spread his cheeks giving Harry easy access. Harry moved his head sideways to better glance at his cock penetrating his Marked One.
Oh yes it was the big one and it was filling Severus to the brim. The sensation was overwhelming.
“Rise,” came the order.
Severus took a deep breath and complied. Then Harry clutched Severus’ hips and slammed him down.
OHHHHHHH! Severus’ mind was mush.
“Rise,” came the order for a second time.
Severus opened his eyes trying to see the air that he was supposed to breathe. He seemed to be able to focus long enough to do as he was told and again Harry pulled him down to place.
“Rise higher.”
Severus rose as high as Harry’s possessive grip would allow him and again he was slammed back down onto the big one. This time his eyes were closed and his head was hanging back and like a sudden flood that no one could control, he ejaculated, sending his sending his seed all over Harry. Some of it fell in the Guide’s mouth.
Harry pushed Severus off him and with a face of discus began to wiped the cum away.
“I hate that you have a cock. I hate it! I hate that I am married to someone who has a cock!” He said as he continued to wipe his face in utter disgust.
Severus fled from the room and didn’t even know how he got to the kitchen and crumbled into his favorite spot.
Kreacher immediately turned on the light, made his bed and handed him his old purple and violet nightgown. Severus put it on and curled into his bed.
A/N
I know I have not been answering the reviews but there are two reasons for that. First, I am starting a new position in my job and I will have to go back to school to get my certification. The University sent me my homework and I have been overwhelmed by it. It has been a while since I have done homework. I will be in the new position while training for it. It should be interesting.
Second, I find that when I read the reviews I want to change my story so you can better understand it. While that might have its benefits it also has its drawback, namely I get sidetrack. I have never written a story this long and they have only had one of the three children. I really have to move this along.
I have decided to read the reviews after I have written the following chapter. This way I am not tempted to fix things.
This is a long holiday weekend here in the States so I am going to try to answer all those reviews I haven’t done. Please know that I do appreciate them and that they keep me going.
