Chapter 20- Going on Tour
There’s No Place Like Hogwarts

Chapter 20- Going On Tour
Hermione sat in her office going over the paperwork she and Severus had received from their solicitor. She and Severus had been married for six months now. When Albus made the announcement back in September, the students and staff were both shocked and happy for them.
The couple had immediately begun work on their first joint project. A potion to reverse the effects of the Cruciatious curse. Neville and his grandmother had agreed to let the potion be tested on Neville’s parents, Frank and Alice Longbottom. It succeeded!
“Hi Hermione,”
“Ginny! This is a wonderful surprise,” Hermione beamed as she hugged the red head.
“Well, I got bored so me and James decided to come for a visit,” Ginny said, handing James to Hermione.
“He’s getting so big,” Hermione replied as James began playing with the locked Severus gave her for her birthday. “What are you and Harry feeding him?”
Ginny just laughed. “Harry said it looks like Frank Longbottom will be returning as an Auror after the first of the year,”
“That’s wonderful news. Severus and I received a letter from our solicitor. It seems every wizarding university in the world wants us to guest lecture on this potion,” Hermione stated.
“Well, are you or not?” Ginny asked excitedly.
“I don’t know. Severus said we’ll discuss it tonight after dinner. If we do this, we would be gone for nearly a year,” Hermione answered letting out a deep breath.
“Would you like my opinion Mrs. Hermione Snape?” Hermione nodded. “I think you and Severus should go. It would be a good way to enjoy yourselves and not have to worry about students. Plus, you get to travel with your husband,”

Severus sat at his desk grading papers. He was waiting for Hermione to finish in the hospital wing then come to their chambers. He was curious to hear her thoughts on the matter of the university tour their solicitor told them about. He personally liked the idea.
“Hi honey, sorry I’m late. I had to recheck my inventory,” Hermione greeted as she flooed into the room.
“Is everything okay?” Severus asked.
“Yep,” She answered as she removed her medi-witch robes, revealing the jeans and t-shirt beneath. “Have you thought about the offer?”
Severus sat his quill down and leaned back in his chair. “Yes actually. It’s all I’ve thought about today,”
Hermione walked over and sat on his lap, his arms wrapping around instantly. “So have I. Ginny stopped by and I told her about it,”
“And what did Mrs. Potter have to say?” He smirked.
“She thinks we should do it. I…I agree. I mean, we can travel, something we said we’d do; get a break from Hogwarts. Maybe even figure out what we want for the future,’ she replied in a rush.
Severus just sat there holding his beloved wife. It was scary how her thoughts seemed to be almost identical to his at times. Especially on this matter. He turned and looked into her honey amber eyes.
“Is this what you really want my love?” He questioned.
“Yes. I think it would be good for us,” She nodded.
“Then we’ll do it. I’ll write Mr. Hanson and have him set it all up for the school term in September. In the morning we will let Albus know so he can begin finding someone to take our places for a year or so,” He replied.
Hermione’s smile told him all he needed to know. She was beyond happy at the news. She slid her arms around his neck and kissed him. Those essays he had been grading would keep till later. Severus held Hermione tightly as he got to his feet and headed for their bedroom.

Christmas was spent at Malfoy Manor and the Burrow. There, the Snapes told their friends about the lecture tour coming up. Everyone was excited for the both of them. “Mione, you have made us so proud,” Ron said as hugged her. “You and Severus have created a miracle. You deserve this success and attention,”
“Thank you Ron. Hermione and I worked hard to achieve the results of this potion,” Severus nodded.
“The hardest part is going to be being away from our friends and family,” Hermione added.
“Oh dear. No matter where you and Severus are, we’ll be there with you in spirit,” Molly smiled wrapping her arm around Hermione’s shoulders.

Over the remaining school year, Hermione and Severus got everything ready. Their first stop was the wizarding university at the wizarding division at Oxford, then the university in Edinburgh. On April 3rd, Narcissa gave birth to a beautiful healthy girl.
She was named Helena Loranne Malfoy. She was born at 6:25 p.m., weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces, and was 17 inches long. Like her parents and brother, Helena had blonde hair but sparkling green eyes like Lucius’ grandmother for whom she was named after.
“Narcissa she’s beautiful,” Hermione smiled as she held Helena.
“You and Lucius do make beautiful children,” Severus added.
“Yes we do,” Narcissa agreed. She sat on the sofa and just studied Hermione as she held Helena. “Hermione, you hold her like a pro,”
Hermione just grinned. “I’ve always had a knack for children,”
This comment last week had lifted Severus’ heart. He desperately wanted Hermione to be the mother of his children. He still had the vision of Hermione reading to their children. He sure hoped they would have children someday soon. He looked up just in time to see his wife unbutton her blouse and drop it to the floor.
“Time for bed husband dear,” She smiled.
“Yes ma’am,” He nodded.

While the term continued, Hermione and Severus began planning. Their solicitor, Hanson, contacted the different universities and a few hospitals as well, and set up a schedule. They would be touring universities and hospitals for a little over a year; 150 in total.
Hermione and Severus found their replacements with no problem. Hermione’s was none other than Ginny. She had been surprised to find Ginny had medi-witch training. Severus’ replacement was Lucius’ cousin, Rhonda Hitt. This of course made her year when she received the job from Severus himself.
The night before their tour was to begin, found the couple sitting at the edge of the black lake watching the sun set. It would be a year or so before Hermione would see a sunset at Hogwarts again, and she would miss seeing that.
“Hermione, are you alright love?” Severus asked as he sat beside her.
“Just nervous I guess. I felt the same way before leaving to train with Master Nikoli,” Hermione sighed, leaning into her husband’s embrace.
Severus rested his chin atop her head, looking out over the water. “Well I’ll be there with you every step of the way. We’re in this together,”
Hermione moved into his arms so she was now facing him, straddling his waist. “I know and I can’t think of anyone else I want to share this with,”
Severus leaned forward and kissed her. Instantly both felt their lust and love for one another just explode. Severus only took time enough to move them somewhere more secluded at the lake’s edge, while Hermione cast a silencing spell around them.
“I’ve always wanted to fuck you by the lake,” She hissed as he easily entered her.
“Mmm. Seems my wife is the adventurous type,” He chuckled.
Severus gasped when he felt the tip of her index finger press lightly against his anus. “Oh you have no idea. But we have our whole lives to see just how adventurous I can be,”
