Chpater 21

The two ran outside to where the battle was raging and he was shocked when Harry was pulled away from him by a deatheater. “Well Mr. Malfoy, it seems I have your mate.” Draco was furious when the man moved to grope his love and stared in shock as the man burst into flames, releasing Harry in the process. He watched as Harry used his water element to put the fire out and said a spell that bound the man.
“Guess we did a little more than complete the bond tonight.” Harry said and instantly Draco knew what he was talking about.
“You mean I’m the one who caused the fire?” He knew that sometimes after bonding the mates would share abilities, but to become an elemental was almost unheard of.
“Yep, to control it just get mad at something for now. I will teach you real control later.” Harry said as they set off together again.
They both fought hard and were startled when they heard someone screaming in pain. They turned to see Jason on the ground at Voldemort’s feet and Voldemort’s wand pointed at him. It seemed everyone stopped to watch what would happen as the Savior of the Light and the Dark Lord ‘battled.’ Lily and James fought to get to their son, while Remus and Sirius held them back.
It was then Voldemort spoke. “You all really thought he could beat me, this pathetic child. You placed your hopes in the wrong person, and I will prove it to you.” He then raised his wand and spoke the killing curse. Everyone watched in amazement as a wall of water rose up knocking the Dark Lord off his feet and sending the curse at some random deatheater. They all looked in shock to find Harry and Draco controlling the water, Harry looking confident, Draco looking shocked. It was then the water moved and surrounded the dark lord effectively trapping him inside. It seemed though that he cast a charm on himself and was breathing just fine. It was then Harry changed the water he was setting off into fire as Draco kept the water going, but not putting out the fire. The two held this as long as they could, but stopped when they were both close to passing out. When the water and fire stopped every one looked to find all that was left of the dark lord was a wet pile of ash.

EPOLOG
Things were crazy after the press learned of the defeat of the dark lord. They were even more shocked to learn that the brother no one knew about was the true prophesy child. Fudge immediately ordered Jason’s arrest for coming between a veela and it’s mate and causing harm to the mate. He had done this as a desperate act to save his career, but it didn’t work and they ended up getting a new minister.
James and Lily felt awful for how they had treated their other children, and promised to make it up to Corben and Harry. Corben liked the idea of having his parents back, but Harry asked them to leave him alone and to let his dad keep him. They couldn’t do anything after that and decided to stop trying to get him back. They had screwed up and now had to suffer the consequences.
Jason went to prison for five years, and though his parents tried to get him out, they found their hands were tied. It turned out he had to relive seeing every thing he had ever caught Draco and Harry doing together and had to relive seeing their happiness.
The mutants were scheduled to return to America, but Harry and Draco were staying to finish their education. They would return during the summer and Draco would be taught to control his new abilities then.
All in all it was a pretty happy ending for most people.
